OOC: My occupation thread, just so there's no cluttering of the primary thread. This is convienently fluidtimed for Her pleasure. It's a bit of a lame beginning, but whatever.
Orlock
Londinian Extraterritorial Dependency of Oradea
Proconsul Marcus Lætonius, only recently transferred from Londinian Calaveras, smiled as he looked out the window of the Astello Proconsulere. Below, nine hundred fierce, disciplined, and lethal Londinian marines stood in rigid formation, their proud red and black dress uniforms standing out perfectly against the dilapidated buildings that the Cazelians had built.
Disgusting people, Lætonius thought. Filthy subhuman brutes, that's what they are.
But it was no matter. Marcus was tasked with one thing, and one thing alone - retooling the new dependent state of Oradea to serve Kensington without question.
Already, soldiers were driving out the silly tiger-like creatures that the Cazelians professed were sentient, killing them and burning their rancid corpses in the city centre. Those who resisted also recieved a fiery grave.
In time, the Cazelians would no longer question their subservience to the Londinians.

OOC: if you don't know about Imkahd, see the 'Operation Catnip thread' but you don't know about him or his friends ICly.
SIC:
Imkahd had slipped into the cave. The two men, Jerry and Kvone, who had accompanied him, had decided to wait out side on a hill. They were unequipped to deal with the situation before them; they only carried Tyrone Model 1 10mm pistols and a single spare magazine, they wore only black cloth shirts and pants, but they had one thing on their side: a reason to fight.
Imkahd tried to stick to the crowds of Kal’Har, and not to be noticed by the British Londinium troops. He searched for a Kal’Har that could speak English. It took only a few minutes to find one literate enough to heed his warning and offer of refuge.

OOC: The Kal'Har live in miles and miles of underground tunnels. There is nothing short of a nuke, that can kill them all in one foul swoop. And I'm going to ignore you clamies of genocide (or biocide or wtf BL thinks this is) unless you RP them.

OOC: It isn't genocide, for the last time, people. Genocide only covers human beings. It is simply biocide, the killing of organic matter. And I have RPed, to some slight extent, my dudes killing the Kal'har.
Already, soldiers were driving out the silly tiger-like creatures that the Cazelians professed were sentient, killing them and burning their rancid corpses in the city centre. Those who resisted also recieved a fiery grave.
Save yourself the trouble and assume that there are no Kal'Har in Orlock, if only because they ran away.

OOC: Fine FEI, I'll RP them.
SIC:
The patrols went through Riverport and the surrounding country side, bringing in the new era, killing all who resisted. Through nefarious means, they had found the locations of the tunnels in their little protectorate. Following this they then proceeded to go in these tunnels, putting chemical gas bombs everywhere. Then, after an airtight seal was placed, they activated the bombs, ensuring a painful death to many a Kal'Har.
With the problem of rebellion from the underground fixed, they then rounded up the rest of the Kal'Har. Not sparing the monstrosities even a last word, they were thrown into fire, elders and children first, followed by women, and lastly the men, the screams filling Riverport with dread and fear. The humans who had been foolish enough to resist were killed, mutilated, and then impaled around the bonfire. The building that they were killed and then tortured after death was a large, now filled with smoke, blood, and corpses, used to be a baseball dome.
Later the charred corpses of the Kal'Har were removed and impaled, joining the Cazelians who thought tigers were sentient in a Vlad Dracul-esque death. Also, the Necrodome was converted into a cruel stadium, the impaled corpses remaining. There, dissentors were placed for a Roman like sport. They were given a dull knife, and from there a tiger, symbolic to the insentiency of the Kal'Har, was loosed on them, ripping their guts from them while the prisoners feebly resisted. Meanwhile, above military spectators paid their tickets to relieve the boredom of protection, cheered and jeered.
IC:
Meanwhile, many things were torn down, and the New Vantanian Colonial Company came in, sending those that remained to the farms, factories, and the construction crews. From there, those rich enough bought stock, and became elevated to levels of administration. It would be these privileged people who would be granted the right to vote.
Yes, and they did vote, voting for the power to make them more rich, turning the Cazelians against each other. Soon, but not too soon, the company's power waned, and merely ruled the economy along side with the Buy & Sell Corporation. Yet the aristocratic elite remained, the landowning white men, becoming more and more sovereign without any wish to get rid of the New Vantanian presence.
OOC: How do you like me now, BL?
OOC- ok guys, this has gone far enough. feel the wrath of the entire UCRA.
IC
hundreds of UCRA troops poured into the tunnels, their gas masks on. the tunnels spanned into Cazelian territory. this would not be tolerated, so the entire URCA would be informed in the next 48 hours, which means the Cazelians would have to hold out. OOC: well, still, Cazellia said that there was like over 10 million of these things. That's still gona take some time to biocide. And they live underground so you would technically have to go into the ground to get the majority of them. Though I admit you did a rather good job of that in you sector NV, the other sectors have not. And Cazellia said they have weapons, so might they shoot back? Oh and VN, while your biocide tactics were brutal, still, it’s hard to beat blenders, dude, fucking blenders.
SIC: The Kal'Har who could speak English had heeded Imkahd's warning of the British Londinium troops going deeper into the tunnels, in which they lived, and he had gathered up the rest of his family and a few others, about 25 in total, and now, in near total darkness, he led Imkahd and the others through the tunnels. Jerry and Kvone had been instructed to wait on that hill until Imkhad contacted them. Two Kal'Har carried some kind of strange looking weapon, but Imkahd figured the best weapon they had against the Londii was stealth and secrecy.
After several hours of running through the deepest caves of the Kal'Har world, the group emerged near a shore that wasn't yet by troops, and not even in Londii Cazellia, probably in the Tigerlan. The stars provided the only light, and waves’ crashing was the only sound. Out about a mile was small sail boat, the sea breeze tugged at its sails but did not keep them taught.
“Where do we go now?” Asked the lead Kal’Har.
Imkahd withdrew a small two way radio and called something into it. The sail boat moved toward the shore. “You will go with Andre. He is the captain of that sail boat. He will take you to a city called New Memphis, in a Far Echo Islands territory not too far form here. Since you have diplomatic immunity in the Far Echo Islands, you’ll be just fine.
“What will you do?”
“I will try to save more of your kind, or die trying.”

The barrier into the deep was removed briefly, and a new set of bombs started a cave-in, that would no doubt affect the deeper tunnels, caverns, and galleries. Meanwhile, reinforced concrete and a steel barrier would insure the Kal'Har wouldn't get into the Protectorate of Riverport. The poison gas, unable to travel upwards, slowly started drifting downwards to where the Kal'Har lived.
Meanwhile, in the Protectorate, the President issued a national holiday, Free Punch Day. Everyone in the Protectorate was allowed to punch one person without official punishment. Sales of spiked fists and poisons to put on said fists skyrocketed. Popular people to punch included the former mayor, beggars, baby seals, kitties, puppies, and babies. The hospitals made a lot of money, and there were no deaths.
The President's stated reason for issuing the holiday was "To prune society according to societies wim." The New Vantanian government has officially condemned the holiday, and New Vantanian soldiers attempted to stop the fist-fest, to no avail.

SIC:
Imkahd had regrouped with Jerry and Kvone and the trio marched north toward NV’s protectorate as the captain of the sailboat had told them he’d heard of the atrocities taking place there.
It was all night and into the morning walking and occasionally hitchhiking to the NV border. The trio of men found though, when they came up on a small encampment about 30 kilometers away, they need not go into NV to rescue victims of biocide, only near it. There, huddled together and crying was a family, a father, a mother, a juvenile, and a young child which the mother held in her arms. The child did not move. The mother cried openly, and tears could be seen occasionally trickling down the faces of the juvenile and the father.
“Excuse me” Imkahd cut in as politely as he could, “but what happened?” the then repeated the best he could in Kal’Har which he had picked up while helping the first group escape.
“Those barbaric Vantanian or should I call them Nazis? They poisoned our home. Some kind of green gas, I think that is what killed my daughter, and explosions killed some of our friends, why, only because of our species. So what if they don’t believe us to be as intelligent as them, they don’t believe dogs to be as intelligent as them, yet I don’t see any dog mass killing going on! What is wrong with them?” the father Kal’Har replied in surprisingly fluent English. “If you’re wondering why we are here,” the Kal’Har continued as if reading Imkahd’s mind, “It is because the Vantanians conducted another raid last night. Killed even more of us, we slipped away just as they filled a tunnel with concrete to stop us from escaping. This is The People’s Freedom Cazelia, technically, but do you see any bulletproof or fireproof wall at the border, do you even see a line that says where the border even is? No! There is nothing to stop them from coming in here and killing us! What are we going to do?!”
“There is a way out. But you must trust me. Not all humans are bad, many are, but I am living proof that there is still good in the world. If you will come with me I can get you out of Cazelia completely and to a grand city called New Memphis. Tell the friends you trust, and we will leave in an hour. I know it does not replace the ones you’ve lost, but maybe it can provide some hope for the future.” He said looking over at the juvenile.
“Yes, we will come with you.” The Kal’Har said. “But our friends are not far and I am sure they will come right away. Let us leave in only 30 minutes, we have no possessions to slow us, we will scavenge food along the way.”
And it was so. In 30 minutes almost exactly, the three humans and 11 Kal’Har were underway toward the eastern edge of the New Riverport protectorate. They progressed through the forests and hills of Cazelia, avoiding human contact of any kind. They stopped at noon and made a hidden camp several dozen kilks east of Kaztania, well as hidden as 14 beings can be, and slept there until about 8pm that night. Then they progressed the rest of the way to the east coast of New Riverport Imkahd noticed the moon was out tonight, just a sliver of itself, but, perhaps like tonight’s evacuation, it represented something more, a greater moon, as tonight resented a greater good and greater hope perhaps. The sailboat waited in the mostly black ocean and moved in when Imkahd gave the signal. ‘Save more of your kind, or die trying.’ Imkahd repeated to himself mentally. He was happy of how many lives he’d help to save. He carried each as of even greater importance than his own, and even mathematically the three men had saved over 10 times that. It was a very good feeling.

As the Kal'Har walked into the boats, relieved to be leaving the Protectorate once and for all, a helicopter departed from a nearby cove, chasing after them. It quickly closed in on the boat, and a message was broadcast: "Good, (insert your leader's name here) got us some more!"
The band of humanitarianists had not made it a quarter of a mile before an explosion rang out, and a fireball soared over the sea. Unbeknownest to them, a pair of men from the Black Hand* had been stalking them, trying to find more of the Kal'Har. The humanitarianists were being used as tools in the biocide.

Skies over Soviet Cazelia, 0200 Hours
The sky was dark over Soviet Cazelia. The only light came from the moon, reflecting gracefully over the landscape, and the a lighted area over the horizon coming from the Soviet airfield. Three An-225s, each escorted by two FA-15s, circled into "the stack", waiting for permission to land. When clearance was given, the giant, hulking transports came in and taxied into position in the hangars. The FA-15s, their mission complete, peeled off and returned to their carriers in Cazelian waters. Meanwhile, the soldiers dismounted and began unloading the An-225s.
A short time later
"Company, Atten-shun!," the commander shouted. "Alright guys, listen up. We are here for one reason: to help the Kal'Har by any means possible. Now, I know some of you guys have been through this before," he said, and indeed they had, once before in Cazelia and recently in North Calaveras. "But this is not your average humanitarian aid mission. The Kal'Har have been persecuted by most people, and they don't like humans. They've also got some pretty nasty weapons. Subdue if necessary, but use nonlethal force. That's pretty much all I've got to say. Get some sleep, first patrol starts tomorrow."
