After the nuclear bombardment of NC by BL, changes occured in the future of NC, when FT NC had become aware to the Goa'uld system lords, it was orderd attacked and captured at all costs. There was a long battle, half of the system lords fleet was wiped out, but eventual do to the large amount of forces at the system lords desposal, NC's home planet Celestis fell in 5 years, the population was then converted to Jaffa, and hosts for the Goa'uld, it was really quite simple how NC was defeated, a Goa'uld claiming to be Kash had infiltrated the ranks of NC and learned everything about him, and in fact becoming him in almost everyway, even looks. Now being worshipped almost like a god Kash has turned Celestis into a Goa'uld stronghold, his fleet and waves of armies control 7 star systems.

OOC: if you are a hard FT rper, then yes. but if not its fine. what is realy made of phail is any SQ tech. there are dozens of loop holes in each one. the weapons also suck. the max for the hataks is 200 megatons. The average SW turbolaser is in the gigaton range.

OCC: True, Hataks are not powerful, but they are not weak either, they can glass worlds(i know in stargate, some of the bombardments are pitful).

Space rippled and boiled, and a tetrahedral pyramid of gold, surrounded by an ovoid gunmetal grey superstructure appeared, blurred a little with motion as it decelerated, particles annihilating themselves against its protective shields, creating flares of radiation that would soon be visible across the system. Furthermore, Atum expresses his hope that Kash will behave with respect towards the unity of goa’uld expressed in the Leadership and Authority of Atum.

OOC: As a matter of fact, the infamous ‘200 Mt’ quote not only refers to an alternate universe, it doesn’t necessarily refer to the weapons of ha’taks, but rather, weapons Apophis used against the East Coast of the USA, off screen. Aside from Apophis' desire to conquer, rather than annihalate, the Earth, this still isn't a reliable upper limit on ha'tak firepower. Alt-Carter comes out with it to prove that the goa’uld have the means to destroy NORAD, not as a quote on goa’uld firepower in general. Actual firepower is wildly varied, from Sokar being able to blast the crust off of Netu, to requiring multiple shots to destroy a tent village. It is of course, entirely up to interpretation. I have a more specific question for NC, too. Is the entire population meant to be jaffa, or just the military? As a rule, the canonical (and indeed, my) goa’uld use the Jaffa only as priests and warriors, with the peasantry being, on the whole, human.
