Before the war, before the Empire, Vector was a droid production company, offering family model R-series astromechs and C-series protocol droids. It also offered a limited supply of M-series security droids for those who need said security. It worked well, until one day, the Empire came and destroyed all that. The Call to Arms by Emperor Andrew Masaki forced many companies to retool their assembly lines for war to keep up with production. Vector was one of them, retooling their assembly lines for Destroyer Droids and more powerful security droids, packed with military-level combat protocols.

That would have been all Vector was there for, if not for a number of engineers and scientists, foremost among them Professor Peter Wiggum, PhD in Interdimensional Physics, inventor of the little-known Wormhole Project and the Chief, AI of the newest line of warships, joined Vector's small R&D team, followed by the Masaki family's own Dr. Rina Masaki. These two people, one old and one young, almost single-handedly transformed Vector Industries from a small, almost invisible company to the most prolific defense contractor Coreworlds has ever had, and a household name to boot.

This document will detail Vector Industries' various researches, from the defense to the supernatural and the various stages of completion. From here on in, unauthorized access will be summarily terminated.

===WEAPONS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT===

"Hi! My name is Rina Masaki and I will be your guide throughout the Vector Industries Tour! Please leave all recording devices at the door before we could proceed." A youngish girl with purple hair and glasses addressed the grumbling crowd. She got annoyed and pulled out a blaster, shooting a holocamera out of a Devonarian's hand. That shut the crowd up as they moved quickly to put their recording devices out onto a pile or face the wrath of Rina.

She moved on quickly, forcing many of the fat cats who buy Vector stocks to huff and puff to keep up with her.

"This is where we develop many of our weapons technology or refined the weapons we acquire by various means for use by the CIDF. For security reasons, you may only see weapons that we've already put out on the battlefield." Rina explained for the crowd.

Ground Weapons

Most of the weapons here are constantly being refined for battlefield use, like blasters, projectiles, and bombs. A few, however, have just come out of the Weapons labs and are in the process of being tested by a few lucky military individuals.

Holy Blaster Rifle - This is actually a weapon developed by the Dragon Mages (see MagiTech Inc below) to deliver anti-evil damage on top of normal blaster or explosive. It basically operates on the premise that the more evil a sentient is, the more damage holy-type energy can do because it cuts straight into the soul. For example, hitting a Dark Lord of the Sith with this energy rifle will cause an order of magnitude more damage than hitting a simple rapist and may actually kill him if he's weak enough. If a sentient is not inherently evil (like stormtroopers or droids), however, this rifle will only cause damage equal to a regular military-issue blaster, with a white beam as opposed to blue or red. It also has the option of creating a ball of energy that explodes on contact like a grenade, but that draws on the power supply even more. It works well on Chaos worshippers and may kill low-level demons in one shot.

People who use it: So far, the Demonhunters Division of the Jedi Order are the only ones who use the Holy Blaster Rifle in any quantity. Team Seven member Nicholas Kingfisher is also a known user, as well as Emperor Daniel Masaki himself.

Enemies we recommend using the blaster on: Sith Lords, Dark Jedi, Chaos cultists, Chaos Space Marines, Demons, Chaos Daemons, the list goes on. Essentially, anyone who has committed an evil deed is a potential target.

Holy Detonator: This is a grenade version of the Holy Rifle. Essentially, when it detonates, it unleashes an intense blast of white holy light that can cause heavy damage to evil-inclined beings.

Piercer Sniper Rifle: An ANBU assassination weapon. This sniper rifle fires an invisible beam so intense that it can pierce most shielding. Even a lightsaber will only deflect it at a shallow angle, potentially allowing for use against a fallen Jedi. The drawback, however, is that it drains unholy amounts of energy (5 shots before reload) and is rather useless in a non-assassination combat situation, so it is rarely used.

Enemies to use it on: Fallen Jedi, High value targets.

People known to use it: The ANBU and military sniper specialists.

Strategic Weapons

Singularity Bomb (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc7HiO79APM): A little brown ball with a big appetite! About the size of a soccer ball, the 'Little Brown Ball' as it is sometimes known, basically transforms into a singularity with a Schwarzchild radius of about three meters and area of effect of around fifty meters. How it does this: After it is dropped, it rises up like a remote droid and opens up three triangular arcs, then it starts spinning on an axis with ever-increasing speed, dragging space-time with it and creating a powerful vacuum when within an atmosphere. After a certain point, the center of the bomb turns black as the black hole forms and continues dragging everything not tied down into a deadly singularity from which there is no escape. After a time, it will explode, showering lethal radiation on the survivors and disappear into oblivion.

Enemies to use it on: It is considered an anti-infantry weapon, so use it on infantry units. There is an anti-vehicular version with a ten meter event horizon radius and area of effect of around a kilometer, and a strategic warfare version which has a three kilometer radius and AoE of several hundred to a thousand KM. The last one can be used to destroy a planet, not that we'd ever use it for that purpose, so it is most used as a hyperlane interdiction mine, powerful enough to disrupt enemy movements.

The Strategic Singularity Torpedo employed by the Navy has the AoE of an anti-vehicular version.

Who uses it: As a strategic weapon, the Singularity Bomb and its advanced versions must have the explicit order of a General, Admiral or above in rank in order to be deployed.

Superlaser: With enough power to destroy a planet in one shot, the superlaser is truly a strategic weapon. The Sovereign-class Duel of the Fates and Sovereign are the only ships in the Coredian arsenal to mount a superlaser that has the planet-destroying capability. However, there are ship-mounted Artillery Cannons that can cripple enemy ships and stationary Superlaser Stations that protect Coredia's planets.

Resonance Torpedo: A truly horrific weapon. It has the power to destroy an entire star system by destroying the parent star. As a result, Coreworlds only has a very limited number of these weapons at any one time and must have the direct order of the Emperor, the Hokage and the Dragon King to be deployed.

Vehicle and Ship-mounted Weapons

Turbolaser: You must have been living under a rock if you don't know this weapon! Fires a packet of blue, green or red plasma-based energy that causes thermal and projectile damage to enemy ships. Refinements to the turbolaser continue in Vector's R&D, but it seems that the basic technology has long since been completed.

Ion Cannon: The Ion Cannon fires a packet of ionised plasma that disrupts enemy systems and causes electrical damage in the process, shorting out circuits and frying electronics. It can also vaporize anything fighter-sized or smaller, but it is not as effective as a turbolaser in that area. Like the turbolaser, the ion cannon is continually refined in Vector, but the initial technology has been done millenia ago. Fires blue or orange-red bolts of ionized energy.

Beamlasers: Actually a combination of Shivan weapons research and LAAT composite-beam turbolaser technology, the beamlaser has the ability to slice through enemy units like a lightsaber as unlike turbolasers, it is a continuous beam, rather than a packet of turbolaser energy. As such, it is a weapon comparable to heavy turbolasers in power, but must recharge after each use. A beamcannon is more powerful, but stationary rather than sweeping, and usually mounted on the Nova-class battlecruiser and Coredian Super Star Destroyer designs.

Ion Cannon Beamcannon: After the Empire deployed its Immobilizer beamcannons and destroyed the Megalodon with it, Vector knew that it had to produce its own version and mount it on its version of an Immobilizer. Estimated Time to Completion: Completed.

PPC Cannon: Bought from the Woodians, the PPC cannon shoots a deep-blue packet of plasma that combines the best of turbolaser and ion cannon damage for a one-two punch that can defeat Imperial ships quickly. The ion cannon part will attack the shields and disrupt the systems while the turbolaser component directly affects the enemy with destruction. It can be overcharged to produce a blast powerful enough to disrupt the systems of a Super Star Destroyer, but that usually destroys the cannon. The Woodians and Coredians are working on a joint project at this time that will rectify and improve the PPC Cannon and make it deadly for any Imperial in its crosshairs.

Yamato Cannon: The ultimate in beamlaser technology! The Yamato Cannon is the bow-mounted dual main cannons on the next-gen Battlestar class of warship that has enough punch to match a superlaser blow for blow. It may be mounted on other warships once the technology is modified for Star Destroyers and the like. It fires a beam of yellow energy with such intensity that space-time begins to warp and produce visible rings that surround the actual beam and thus can destroy or even carve up and then blow up a Star Destroyer in one or two shots. It is power-intensive, though, so a ship's captain will have to take care when firing the weapon.

Guass Cannon/Railcannon/Coilguns/Mass Driver: All four are different names for the same type of weapon: that of a kinetic-energy based projectile weapon that uses either magnetic or gravitational energy to accelerate matter up to 80% of the speed of light. It comes in all sizes, from hypersonic rifles for infantry, to the Asteroid Mass Driver mounted on the Hokage-class Battleship, which fires an asteroid up to one hundred meters in diameter at enemy ships for pure, unadulterated KE damage.

Disruptor Cannon: This is a third set of weapons, separate from turbolasers and ion cannons in that it actually disrupts the atomic structure of many materials to the point where it may "erase" said material. It is almost never used as ship-to-ship weapons because it is so power-intensive, but refinements in power supply may change that, with joint-projects with several nations in the works. As this point, however, only the Super Star Destroyer, the Immortal-II Star Destroyer and the Elite Star Destroyer have the power capacity to use such a weapon. The disruptor cannon bolts are orange.

Creation Cannon:

Missile Weaponry

Concussion Missile: A simple but powerful subnuclear missile with a shaped charge, designed mainly to destroy things in clusters. It is good against small targets, though. Sub-kiloton to kiloton range.

Nuclear Missile: The staple weapon of just about every post-industrial nation, Coredia has a healthy stock of them and a healthy respect for the one-of-two weapons that can destroy anything within its million-degree fireball. Unless the target is shielded, of course. Then it is best used as part of a missile swarm. Runs from the kiloton to the gigaton range.

Antimatter Torpedo: The other weapon that can destroy anything within its fireball, the antimatter torpedo annhiliates matter and antimatter with an efficiency greater than H-bombs to make a bigger bang. Runs from the megaton to high gigaton range. Best used as part of a swarm.

Proton Torpedo: By far and away the most common missile in Coreworlds, one never leaves home without a stock of proton torps. Megaton to high gigaton/low teraton range.

Seismic Mines (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Void-7_seismic_charge): A weapon usually noted for its use during planetary bombardments, it's planar shockwave means that it has its uses within a densely packed area of matter, like an asteroid belt, to discourage pursuers and lay traps. In conjunction with gravitic mines, it is a deadly weapon indeed.

Quantum Shattermissile: Rina Masaki's pride and joy, and the result of her dissertion on "The Relationship of Energy and Matter through Quantum Mechanics Principles" that earned her the PhD degree. The dissertion basically states that energy and matter can be interchanged with the use of advanced quantum mechanics. Not just E=mc^2, but the fact that M=√(E/c). Under this principle, energy can be transformed back into mass, a discovery that could have very profound consequences for the Coredian scientific community and the galactic scientific community at large.

The Shattermissile itself is an anti-shield weapon. It deliberately targets energy shields in such a way that it literally turns the enemy's shields into "glass", giving the impression that the missile can pass through with impunity. Once it completes its journey through the shield, it burrows into the hull of a ship and detonates with enough power to leave a gaping hole in a standard Star Destroyer.

Shattermissile Mark II: Rina Masaki continues to refine and modify the Shattermissile for the Navy.

The Shattermissile Mark II is more advanced than the mk I. It boasts increased maneuvering and sensor ability so as to dodge enemy flak fire as well as a damaging glow that is more than just a fancy light. It has the power to disintegrate matter into its component particles, useful for those pesky hulls that cannot be harmed by standard Shattermissiles.

ETC: Completed & Deployed

Tachyon Torpedoes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=406642&highlight=Tachyon+Torpedoes): These babies are the other half of the shield-shattering arsenal! They throw a bunch of tachyons that interact with enemy shields to produce a beam equivalent to a medium turbolaser in power. It is a precision weapon, but can also deal deadly damage to shielded lighter ships.

All missiles are dial-a-yield up to their highest noted setting.

===NON-WEAPONS DEFENSE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT===

Molecular Shields: This is actually an old Imperial technology dumped in the bowels of Coredia's old New Republic files. Resurrected by Vector researchers looking for a way to improve the defensive capabilities of Rebel ships, the molecular shields have proved to be a fine addition to the Coredian arsenal. They take in energy used by various enemy ships during battle and from other sources, collect them in specially created capacitors and distribute the energy throughout the ship for extra firepower, shielding, or other uses of the energy as the captain demands.

This powerful defense is in the process of being implemented all over the fleet, but it is certain that all new classes of ships will wear this shield, like the Battlestar and the Mark-X (Unknown, not ten) Star Destroyer. It is also known that older models, when they get their scheduled refits, will also be upgraded with this shield. Refinements will be made to this shielding in order to fit it on smaller ships.

Inertia Engines: Long has this technology been in the making! First mastered by Konoha's shinobi for greater maneuverability, the Inertia Engines are the next generation of engines to be used by the Alliance. Instead of ion drives, they use gravity-based generators heavily modified from inertial compensator technology to make a ship go where it wants to go. In effect, there has been indications that the Inertia Engines grant a ten-fold increase in maneuverability and acceleration capabilities over contemporary Imperial technology and it's only bound to get better as captains test their equipment to the limit.

This technology is being implemented as we speak into the newer classes of ships. The older class will also get upgrades, but it is likely that the ion engines will never entirely be phased out, especially for smaller ships. So far, the Shinobi-class Battlecruiser, Katana-class Medium Cruiser, Wakizashi-class Light Cruiser, Star Destroyer mk V, Defender-class Star Destroyer and all subsequent Star Destroyer lines, Nova-class Destroyer, the new line of Battlestars, the Dragonstorm-class battleships, the MC-90 Missile Cruisers, the Nebulon-B2 Frigate, the Valkyrie-class Heavy Frigate, the Corellian Corvette and Gunship, and the Strike Cruiser are being upgraded with the new engine drives. It is likely that as time goes on, all new ships will have the engine, but at this moment, only those ships named above will have the engines.

===ESOTERIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT===

Chronoskimmer Wormhole Network: The Chronoskimmer Wormhole Project is Dr. Peter Wiggum's pride and joy. It is essentially a network of portable wormholes established by the good doctor to allow swifter movements of goods and services throughout the galaxy. So far, there are only personal wormholes, but larger ones are in the works.

Recall Mode: Noting that several nations have the ability to turn enemy fire back on them, Vector Industries has asked Dr. Wiggum to produce a way to do the same for Coredian defenses, especially in light of the Galaxy Gun's menace. ETA: Unknown.

Artificial Intelligence: CHIEF is Peter's other pride and joy. Originally created to manage the wormhole network, Chief now has a breakout role in Coredia's major captial ships. The Battlestars, Phoenix, Elite and Sovereign ships all carry Chief.

Spacefold FTL: Completed thanks to the Twelve Colonies of Kobol.

Dimensional Stabilizers: Smoothes out the fabric of reality such that things like phase cloaks, wormholes, black holes, and dimensional FTL as well as ordinary FTL do not work within its 3.5 AU area of effect. An upgraded version is in the works to disrupt dimensional taps, although it is realized that the upgraded version may disrupt the Necronomius drives of the Phoenix-class Star Destroyer.
