Official Communiqué
To the Embassy of British Londinium, Inverness
Although we do not fully understand the reasons behind the betrayal of the Pictish people by British Londinium, we are willing to put this incident behind us.
During the brief Londinian involvement in the Utopian Crusades, Nova Pictavia lost many invaluable soldiers and sailors. However, based upon the iminent invasion of both of our nations, a fair and equal cease-fire was granted. We feel it is now time to extend this to the Argyll treaty. (Named so due to the presence of Argyll in both Nova Pictavia and British Londinium)
We propose the following to extend the cease-fire:
A full Peace Treaty and resumption of normal international relations, including but not limited to economic and political opportunities.
A further 'Non-Aggression Pact' to ensure co-existence between the homelands of both of our peoples.
We also feel inclined to highlight our generosity in the treatment of wounded Londinian soldiers, whom were unfit for travel, in our military hospitals. it is with this statement that we admit we are now after something from you. Any military equipment or economic aid of any form would be greatly appreciated in continuing the war effort against the Imperialistic Buddha C.
We recognize that in your current defense situation such a request is unlikely to be granted, however we hope that the most respected new Consul will find it in his heart to repair some of the damage done to our military, and to our friendship.
Yours Sincerely,
