ARDC first researched the possibility of upgrading the J-8D Finback to have even more reliable engines and Western Avionics, thus the "Super Finback 2000" project was born. ARDC installed two Rolls Royce Spey engines, inspired by the British offering to install Speys in Mig-21 Fishbeds. The F-8J "Super Finback" is far better then the Chinese original, with longer range thanks to the more fuel efficient Speys. The Raytheon AESA radar was installed, thus some nose modifications were needed to make it work, but the end result of the project is almost a totally new fighter from the avionics prospective...

The price for the F-8J Super Finback is 35 million dollars, it is now ready to purchase:

OOC: I know the engine specs are not correct, I will modify it later, just when you order it, pretend it is the correct version. Critiscism is welcome, I admit I copied and paster from wikipedia, but ARDC primarily upgrades fighters of RL sort and makes them better if you will.
