San Diego Senate passes Military Renewal Plan:

by Ted Jones, senior editor for CNN.

The Military Renewal Plan is passed by the Senate, it calls for the addition of 650 B-1A Lancers like the original to be purchased, and the retirement of the RF-4C Phantom recon platform, to be replaced by the RF-9C recon aircraft. The RF-9C is viewed as a faster, more economical then the aircraft it replaces, 750 RF-9C's are on order, to be delivered in 2011-14, the last RF-4C squadron will transition to RF-9's in 2016. Also, over 700 FB-22's have been ordered to replace the SU-27, and to complement the S-37's that will be ordered soon. The bill appropriates approx 1.4 trillion towards reorganizing the air force and the naval air/sea/land assests.

San Diego Poll, and Assesment of President Arnold's Approval Rating Report:
by Bob Jones, Senior Political Correspondent

Recent Polls show that President Arnold's approval rating is 70%, dipping 7% from the previous months, as he introduced unpopular laws, discontinuing welfare programs, and building the millitary up, to as he says "Protect the freedoms that Calizorinstan currently enjoys." A peace rally was held near a base, peace protesters sat on the runway to block a F-9C fighter from landing.

The military has been given authority unprecedented in Calizorinstan, to squash protesters with force. This, ladies and gentlemen is the reason that his ratings are quickly falling. I recommend his resignation, he will most likely lose the next election. The 2007 polls show that he had a narrow lead over the communist running man, John Wood. We believe that in 2010, Calizorinstan will be a hard line communist nation, and we blame President Arnold for it.

We must say he had promise, as a former naval commander, and admiral, we expected better of his 8 year term, having been hurried into office after former President Slovick was incapacitated by a fascist. He however, was a hard line military man, through and through, in his 8 years, our military has gotten 75% of the funding, as he says "To protect us, by being on our game, we must have very good firepower, in order to stay alive in this world.", we question his statement of "protecting us, by having the most firepower", we believe that he is only using the military to sponsor his pet projects.

But he is a very good and able leader, leading us through conflicts, and having the government fund the F-9 project in our opinion was a very good move, 10 nations now operate the F-9, the F-9 for ARDC has made 500 billion dollars.

This is our view on the whole "President Arnold Poll Report."

Military Renewal Plan, being en-acted:
by. Col.Raymond Jones, senior military correspondent

The Calizorinstan Air Force looked at the Ca'ze Industries F/A-12B, and the F-8J "Super Finback" to replace the aging F-4/F-15C/A fleet, and they selected the F-8J in a devastating blow to Ca'ze Industries. They ordered 3,500 F-8J Super Finbacks in a deal worth 1.2 billion dollars. Also they ordered E-19 Commando versions for the pilots to be armed in case they go down. The F-8J program has gotten a major boost because of this large order.
