It has come to our Attention that in recent months, conflicts have escalated against the Nation of British Londinium, we feel this is an abuse of the nations rights to exercise its own laws and treaties, the unlawful use of Atomic Weaponry against its sovereign soil was a direct violation of its Human rights, Therefore we, as one unity, The Supreme State have decided to offer our full and immediate Military Support to this nation in the hopes that it will deter future conquests and future aggression to British Londinium and its peoples.

The High Command, The Supreme State.

SECRET IN CHARACTER

A darkened office hid what truly Kraven had planned, it was one of the old Kraven tactics, Befriend the nation, send in military support, then when they are least expecting it, Annexation, the complete and total destabilisation of the countries infrastructure and then for it to be rebuilt in the style of Kraven….

A term that hadn’t been used for quite some time…. Slave State…. Or Kravenisation…

“Are the plans put into place?” An officer asked, looking at the dossiers…

“Yes… they are ready, we have prepared to divert some forces from the main Battlefleets to deal with the nation, a swift strike from the centre of the city should allow our forces to capture the government buildings with minimal losses and minimal resistance, they wouldn’t be expecting it…”

“Very good, Deploy the forces as soon as we get a response….”

“Sir… I suggest using the Wolf Brigade for this operation, they won’t have the full support and backup of a battle fleet…” Another officer piped up, giving his input…

“Good point, I like an officer who can think on his feet…. We’ll use Wolf Brigade for this operation, it will mean we won’t be siphoning forces from the Yeltsmin front and can continue that campaign without breaking step….” The Oberst-sturm-Furhrer spoke, nodding as he spoke, as though he was agreeing with what he was saying…

“Ok… As soon as we have a response… deploy the forces…”

“As you wish. Oberst-Sturm-Furhrer…”

And so in a short twenty minute discussion, the fate of British Londinium had been sealed…

"Morning, Mr Azzopardi," said Foreign Minister Cecilia Belladini as she sat down in front of James' escritoire.

"Good morning, Ms Belladini," James replied courteously. "What's new in the world of foreign affairs?"

"This," Cecilia said, setting a thin black and red binder on the desk's glass surface. "The Kraven Corporation has offered to back our country."

"You're joking," James replied with a laugh. But, nonetheless, he reached for the binder and started to peruse it. "Unbelievable..."

"With Kraven behind us, I doubt that any nation will trifle with us," Cecilia declared smugly. "Nobody's foolish enough to get into a fight with them."

"Don't trust Kraven bearing gifts," the Consul retorted quickly. "This is suspicious at best. At any rate, our international image is tarnished as it is - being allied with those demons is the last thing we need."

"But, sir, we can't simply say no to them," Cecilia said. "Who knows what they'll do?"

"Then we must proceed with extreme caution, Ms Belladini. On your way out, please summon the Messrs Lorentz and Crompton, as well as Ms Vauxhall."

Concremo: Kraven Slave State Coded: ONE

Concremo, Concremo is a name that forever shall ring out in the history books, once a powerful nation, once a nation that had dreams and aspirations, it wanted to go somewhere, prosper and become something other than just another nation, they had big businesses, powerful military forces and a beautiful countryside that was the envy of the world over…

Concremo, was by all standards a Utopia, it was paradise, people were happy, women and children laughed and played in the many green fields that surrounded the cities, huge forests stretched across the lands and the seas, beautiful and clear were always the number one destination for holiday makers…

It seemed nothing could ruin this paradise…. Nothing could ruin this burgeoning world of joy and peace…

That was until the War Machine of Kraven loomed its ugly head above the beautiful mountains of Concremo, the Concreminian Government was foolish, Kraven promised them many things, weaponry, armour, resources and most of all a strong alliance that together they could forge ahead into the unknown, together they could approach the worlds problems and solve them, almost hand in hand… figuratively speaking…

A mistake… a Big… Mistake…

The Concreminian Government welcomed Kraven into its nation with open arms, allowing Capitol Police battalions to begin actively policing the streets and assisting Concremo Police Operations when it was seen fit to do so… but slowly things started to change, the Concremo Police force practically disappeared during the night, entire housing blocks vanished, replaced over night by Panzer Battalions..

The Government made less appearances and soon the lush green forests were harvested by the great jaws of the War Machine…. The skies darkened and vast clouds of black smoke rose from factories that almost seemed to appear from no where, blotting out the sun and polluting the seas….

People disappeared, people who began to question this alliance vanished from their homes, replaced by a notice declaring the former person to be a Thought Criminal and that anybody found to have been assisting the Thought Criminal would be apprehended and detained under the Thought Crimes Act of Kraven Occupied Territories…

It was… for all intents and purposes… a Flawless Occupation…

----

The Bunker at Concremo was a huge industrial complex stretching far below the ground and far out to sea, it housed thousands of armoured Battalions, Sturmpanzers, the Kraven Capitol Police, the Elite Stormtroopers of Kraven, they waited for days, waiting and waiting with inhuman cause, waiting for a conflict, waiting for an uprising, waiting for orders….

The Wolf Brigade was the Elite of this army, they were chosen from birth due to a higher than average Capitol Police IQ and were given certain… abilities and were allowed to think for themselves to a certain degree, making them a force to be contended with, they could organise themselves into resistance groups, or if needed survive in the field of combat with little or no support….

They wore the same armour as Capitol Police however it was stripped down to make manageability greater and to allow much more efficient close combat techniques…. These were the epitome of Kraven fighting forces…

Thousands of these soldiers boarded transports, huge vessels destined for British Londinium in its defence, and then shortly during the attack, its occupation and annexation, it was going to be a big operation for Kraven, it had been a long time since it had annexed any new slave states into its Absolute Unification plan and this was going to be the first of many…

Battleships and Carriers broke out into open waters followed by many smaller cruisers and dedicated CIWS vessels, long range missile carriers and Torment Class submersibles, powered their ways into the polluted seas while one by one the transports broke free, their inhuman cargo waiting for their next orders….

The Subjugation of British Londinium….

Your security measures, as you put it, are not required at this time. I thank your organization for their incessant, unabating desire to ensure the welfare of the People's Sovereign Republic. Ladies and gentlemen!

As you all know, a Kraven battlefleet is now amassing outside British Londinium waters. While the people of British Londinium are mere wimpy socialists, we believe this event is a great opportunity for nations of all persuasions, socialist or libertarian, or whatever. Let us use this opportunity to stand above our differences. Let us unite against The Kraven Corporation, nuke their cities, kill their population, and cleanse every last Capitol Police operative from the face of the Earth. After this, we recommend that we sit on the irradiated ruins and sing Kumbaya together.

“Well then Director, why should we care if UFAN is selling their military might up the river towards that useless machine?”

The naval task group, the force that was originally going to invade British Londinium, had been waiting patiently in Hyperion for Kraven to make their move. Now that they had made their motives perfectly clear, they departed from a mostly British Londinian Indonesia, heading towards the nation proper. Ahead of them, a message was sent to British Londinium.

We wish to send our naval task group in Hyperion, the Indonesian territory that was ceded to us, to defend your territories from the Kraven Corporation's invasion. We have aircraft carriers, submarines, non-battleships, a few battleships, and two arsenal ships. On the aircraft carriers are a variety of air ships. What's more, if you allow us, we can send some of the marines and imperial elite to your island in the very likely case that the Kraven scum make landfall. Now is not a time for petty differences, or old, bitter history, but a united front against one of the most evil nations, the absolute most evil corporation.

A cadet knocked, before rushing into the Commandants office.

"Sir! Something from OOS."

"Hmm?" The commandant looked at the case handed to him. Across a panel floated from left to right:

Beta-Clearance Only...Beta Clearance Only..

"Damned new technology. Right, where's that blasted card?" He fumbles in his pocket, before finding it attached to a chain around his neck. Swiping it across the panel, the case beeps before a lock is disengaged.

"Thankyou cadet, you're free to go."
"Yes sir."

Opening the case, he's presented with a task code and a series of photographs. He sighs, before dragging his finger in a peculiar way across one half of his desk.

--2 minutes later--

"You requested a glass of water sir?" His receptionist steps through the door.

"Ah, yes. I suppose new technology does have it's uses. Rather clever little thing, a touch-screen in my desk, don't you think?"

"Yes sir. Where would you like this?"

"Just set it over there Cecilia, please. And would you please prepare a statement to send to British Londinium?"

"Of course Sir." Her heels click on the polished floor as she leaves.

Returning to his photographs, he observes a fleet. The following are zoomed-in versions of this photograph and- by God, was that a Kraven Corporation flag? It is! He presses the table again, and Cecilia comes through.

"Cecilia, can you get me the Council please? This is urgent."

"Yes sir. Right away."

He brings up a letterhead on the computer screen, and begins to type:

Dear Sir:

No doubt, this cannot be good news for you, and as such we wish to offer ourselves to your service against this menace.

Whilst no love is lost between us as of late, we feel that having an unfriendly relationship with a nation that is alive is better than leaving them to the fate that will befall you if you are not careful.

Consul James Azzopardi ran his hands through his wavy red hair as he read the latest Kraven communiqué. "Unbelievable," he muttered. "Absolutely unbelievable."

A knock on his door interrupted his grumblings. "Come in," James called.

The door swung open, and Minister of State Security Albert Lorentz quickly walked into the room. He appeared anxious, nervous, agitated. "Consul, it's no longer safe for you to be here. The Kravii are fast approaching, and if you were to be captured or killed, it would be devastating."

"Leave? No, I will not cravenly flee from this city," James responded.

"I'm afraid that's the only choice left," Lorentz replied. "Even if we manage to repel a Kraven attack, Parliament and Kensington Palace are not so far from the shore that they could not successfully capture you. And, say what you will, having a Consul fall into the hands of the enemy will be disastrous for morale and state security."

James leaned back in his chair, contemplating the decision. After a few moments, he spoke.

"Very well, Mr Lorentz. Where do you propose we go?"

"Saakashvili Repository," Lorentz said. "Most secure place in the country. Just give me the word, and we can have you, the Cabinet, and the President relocated there. We've prepared two 'look-alikes' to be placed in your residence and here in your office."

"Make the necessary arrangements, then, Mr Lorentz," James sighed. "Let me collect my things."

The State Security Minister rapidly bowed as he left the room, leaving Consul Azzopardi alone in his office. James had little to gather, as all of his paper files would be moved for him. He tucked his laptop in the crook of his arm, placed his tweed hat on his head, and grabbed a platinium-coated pen from the top of his desk.

In the doorway, James turned around, and scanned the office ruefully. As he dimmed the lights, he sincerely hoped that this would not be the last time he saw the room.

Praetorial Palace, Vetalia City

Praetor Melnikov paced his bedchamber nervously, not sure what to do or how to move forward. A Kraven attack on British Londinium was not only concerning, it was downright frightening considering the strategic danger an active Kraven could pose. Those...monsters...scared the living shit out of the Praetor, not the least because he knew exactly what they were capable of and their ability to pull it off with terrifying efficiency. They were brutal, unforgiving, powerful, and he knew they never did anything without ulterior motives. Who could tell where they would extend their tentacles next? It was simply too risky to do nothing.

But what to do? Should I get involved now, or should I prepare ourselves for a far bigger conflict in the future? And what of the Londinian government? He eyed the secure telephone on his nightstand, nervously walked over to it, and picked up the phone. He dialed the palace.

It rang, and rang. Nothing...they must be gone already...but to where?
He hung up the phone and darted over to his desk. Haphazardly pushing the papers off of it, he pushed a button and his computer console emerged from within the desk. He furiously began typing a message to the Consul. Even if he wasn't in the palace, he would still get it:

Consul Azzopardi,

I've heard of the situation with Kraven and I'm worried about what kind of attack the Kraven are plotting. No doubt you've already left the palace for somewhere more secure, but I want to make sure you're ready for whatever happens. If necessary, I can work to get your government out of the country. Aeroflot's Kensington-Vetalia City flights are still operating and will until somebody starts to open fire. Even after that, I'll make sure somebody sticks around to get as many people out of there as possible...

I know it's not honorable, and I know it may be bad for morale, but until we can do something decisive to help that's the only other option in the event that the Kraven overwhelm your defenses. If they capture your government, it will cripple any chance you have of resistance...by the time we would arrive, all would be lost. Even if we drove them off, the damage would be done.

We are here for your people and government, and we're doing everything we can to prepare for the difficult times ahead. The Kraven must be stopped, and we'll do what we can to bring about that end.

Think it over carefully, and for God's sake, all of you stay away from the coast,
-Praetor Ivan Melnikov

With that, he sent it, and waited for a response. It would be a long night.

"What!? You can't have dirt on your uniform! We're professionals, show some pride in the Hegemony!" said an officer, inspecing the various forces that formed the Hegemonic Armed Forces.

Many of them had discipline problems, a lot of alcohol had been confiscated and was to be sold to support the war. Most of them had no respect for their uniforms, or slouched disgracfully. They had teeth that seemed to exist to collect gunk, or sinfully long hair. It was pitiful.

Yet still, they had the skills were it mattered. There was some individual fluctuation, but they could all throw a grenade, and shoot straight. They were all strong enough for the types of war they would be subject to, handled sleep deprevation well, and had good endurance. Fortunately, they had experience with bayonets. It might not do any good, but every Capitol Police dead was a good thing. There was a creeping feeling among the military that there would be many stands where they would need the bayonets.

So, while the discipline problems were being handled, and they all trained for the upcoming war, the fleet containing them departed for Hyperion, and from there to British Londinium.

A 250-strong fleet of transport ships plus their escorts were seen leaving Barronia for British Londinium today, sources say.

The move is set to reveal that Barronia is fully aware of the Kravenite threat to British Londinium, although it will leave many confused - does, or doesn't, Barronia like Londinium? Throughout many scenarios, Barronia has supported, argued against, publicly denounced, then supported, denounced, and supported British Londinium (not necessarily in that order).

Aboard these 250 ships are some 100,000 soldiers of the 1st Barronian Mechanized Expeditionaries, a highly-trained portion of the armed forces. Their role is to facilitate the evacuation of Londinian citizens, and if necessary, defend against the feared Capitol Police of the Kraven Corporation.

Sources indicate that the Kravenite fleet may be closer than first thought to Londinium, although this is yet to be confirmed, however, tensions will run high as Barronia gears for war in both Londinium and her homeland, both against Kraven's allies and those within the League.

Along with the other Hegemony forces were 15,000 of the Sumguaian Royal Guard. They were immaculate in comparison to the other Hegemonic troops, each uniform was a work of art designed to inspire the other men they would fight with. Equipped with only the best weapons and armor available and disciplined to a fault, they were the elite of the troops sent by the Empire, each a decorated veteran. They were led by none other than Captain Wall, who had been the co-leader of the revolution eleven years previous and whom the top Sumguaian generals turned to for strategic advice.

Sir Alexander Saakashvili Repository
Classified Location
People's Sovereign Republic

A black Agusta A109 helicopter, marked only with a white star on the cockpit door and a red stripe on the tail, touched down on a small stretch of pavement near the rocky escarpments of the lake Saakashvili Repository was housed in. The doors slid open, and James Azzopardi hastily shielded himself from the torrential downpour as he was escorted to the main entrance of the facility, one so secret that the only knowledge available to the public was that it existed...somewhere.

The Repository's lake-side entrance were two massive titanium doors covered with layers of solid rock. Normally, they were submerged to make them even more impossible to locate, but, the water had been drained low enough that they were now visible. They opened slowly as James and his entourage approached, and, even with their notably unimpressive appearance, managed to convey an overwhelming sense of power.

"Right this way, Consul," said the Minister of State Security politely, gesturing into the gaping black hole. James circumspectly obliged, not knowing what to expect from the dark corridor.

As soon as the doors were securely sealed, the area was flooded with light, revealing an intricate and impregnable fortress. Thousands of Consular Guards occupied what appeared to be a fully operational military base in the cavern's antechamber, with every weapon in the War Ministry's arsenal.

As James continued to travel deeper and deeper into the Repository, the subterrane seemed to narrow, and thousands of machine gun and anti-tank weapons nests came into sight.

"You see, Consul, even if the Kraven forces manage to find you and get past the soldiers in the front, getting through here is impossible. It'd be like trying to go through an organic wood-chipper unscathed," Lorentz said jovially. "And, of course, the Repository is nuclear-safe and energy-independent. On top of housing enough food to feed the entire population of Kensington for years, if not decades."

Finally, James came to the emergency offices of government, including his own. He opened the door, and saw a spartan, though high-tech, office, decorated only with digital war maps and computer displays mounted in the wall. He took a seat in the swivel chair behind the unadorned wooden desk, opening his laptop.

Surprising there's internet this deep, James thought. At least Davidson knew what he was doing when he built this redoubt.

The Vetalian email did not go unnoticed, and the Consul immediately went about in drafting a response.

I assure you that my personal safety, in addition to the safety of all vital government personnel, is in no jeopardy. All precautions have been taken to ensure that government officials will not fall into the hands of the Capitol Police. I ask that Vetalia volunteer not to house me, but to house the millions of innocent Londinians who will most certainly perish in sustained combat with the Kraven Corporation.

But, on a more personal note, I appreciate the continued concern you and your nation have shown for this country throughout the years. I know Mr Davidson spoke highly of you, and viewed you as a trusted friend. I hope that, in the future, the same type of friendship can be forged between us as well.

May Aequitas look over you, your family, and Vetalia with a smile.

A New Vantanian officer walked briskly towards the Royal Guard of the Sumguians. Standing in front of them in his pristine black leather uniform, the various insignias that were lovingly sewed in indicating he was a a member of the Hegemonic Marines, a sergeant. His hair, an exact inch of military buzz, was dyed a uniform black, like everyone else in the New Vantanian Armed Forces. In fact, he was your stereotypical New Vantanian soldier.

"Captain Wall?" he asked, noting the man step out from the crowd. "The Polemarch has a request of your men. After we depart from Hyperion, he would like you to go to Kensington to bulster the garrison. If Kensington falls, and you still have men, then you are to defend the consul."

Aboard the USS Gryffindor, capital ship of the respective battlegroup

“Prepare for take off. I repeat, prepare for takeoff.”

On the deck of the giant carrier, the troops ran towards their positions. Guided missiles were being attached to their craft, engines were roaring, the last preparations for battle were made.

“Prepare for launch of Khan missiles!”

From the Allanean battlegroups, fifty giant ZMI “Khan” missiles streaked out upwards, into the stratosphere and then into low earth orbit. Then, they fell down like punishing arrows from God himself. On their final approach, they reduced their speed and changed their angle, coming in as sea-skimmers. These missiles were equipped with electronics and countermeasures, designed to destroy super-dreadnaughts and battleships. But they did not target these ships. Instead, the oversized 100-million-dollar missiles targeted Kravenite transports, with only one goal: to take as many lives as possible. For this, the best way was to target infantry transports – simply to kill as many infantry as possible.

In the meanwhile, 100 aircraft aboard the USS Gryffindor and an equivalent amount from aboard the USS Ravenclaw came out towards their target. They moved out in two long, curved trajectories, like giant pincers from hell. Thus, they would attack the Kravenite fleet from two different directions.

“Ravenclaw-1, this is Iron Gryffon, approaching striking distance, armed, ready to go.”

“Gryffon, this is first claw, good to go.”

“Let’s hit ‘em”

The distance was precisely timed – 800 kilometers, or 4,000 furlongs in Allanean units. From the two directions, two hundred long, red streaks came in to meet the Kravenite transports. Those were Shockhound Avenger (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=8601244&postcount=27) missiles. As they approached their target, each would pepper it by eight pre-fragmented thermite charges, impacting at six times the speed of sound. Then, the main body of the missile, based around a tungsten or alpha-grade uranium penetrator, would strike the target. And then, finally, the explosive payloads would detonate.

Allanean Arterus

“Red alert, this is red alert. All forces, this is not a drill. We are all clear for Delta-Zeta-Four, repeat, we are all Delta Zeta Four clear, this is not a drill. “

The Allanean Air Force’s newest Arterus Air Armada was composed of the new FB-117A (http://z6.invisionfree.com/International_Mall/index.php?showtopic=2281) stealth bombers. Countermeasures, electronic and otherwise, ensured the aircraft were not visible on most RADAR, unless you could spot a grain of sand with it. They traveled at maximum altitude, to avoid being shot at by air defense missiles.

And there was a full Air Armada – 1,000 of them.

On the other hand, they were escorted by 1,000 Velkyan-made Sturmfalke aircraft, armed with long-range anti-aircraft missiles. These were in fact visible on RADAR, if it was good RADAR.

Vetalian Embassy, Kensington

The embassy was mostly empty at this point, its important equipment, documents and most of its staff loaded on to planes and transported back to Vetalia for safekeeping. A skeleton staff consisting of the Ambassador, her Deputy Ambassador, several Clerks and Lictors and a sizable group of security and administrative staff were all that remained in the embassy. The offices were empty, the walls marked with white squares where pictures, maps, flags and even telephones once stood. The few remaining staff had set up a makeshift office in the reception hall, using stacks of telephone books and boxes filled with office supplies to support plywood stacked with a mess of telephones, paperwork, and laptop computers. In short, it was organized chaos.

It was officially the last week of the embassy's operations until the conflict was deemed resolved, and with the consent of the Vetalian government at home the embassy decided to announce its plans to initiate an emergency evacuation service for as many people as possible. The remaining staff attempted to canvas as much of the city as possible, using the last of the office's paper and printer ink to produce several thousand flyers and posters which they posted at critical points around the city. Since almost all Vetalian citizens had left the country as a precaution, all that remained was minimizing the civilian cost of the upcoming conflict as much as possible, and an evacuation was the best way to achieve that end.

Printed crudely on low-grade paper, they were not attractive, but were more than enough to get the message across:

Embassy of the Republic of Vetalia

Attention Citizens of British Londinium:

The Vetalian government has granted the embassy and select other organizations the authority to oversee evacuation of citizens from the city to Vetalia as a precaution against possible Kraven hostilities. The Vetalian Air Force and the airlines Aeroflot and Air Novagrad have been tasked to aid in the relocation of civilians both directly out of Kensington as well as to other cities further inland. From there, they will be flown out of the country to airbases and airports in Vetalia. Refugee accommodations will be provided for those unable to procure other lodgings.

We will accept people for the next 7 days, after which the Vetalian Air Force and the aforementioned airlines will deal with evacuation procedure. We do not require visas but valid ID must be provided. The quotas are as follows:

M: 100,000 people
T: 300,000 people
W: 500,000 people
Th: 750,000 people
F: 900,000 people
S: 1,000,000 people
S: 1,000,000 people

After this point, we will be able to airlift 1.25 million people per day out of the country and will continue to do so until it is no longer safe to send flights in and out of the country. There will be no cost for these flights.

Please report to the following sites around the country for processing:
Vetalian Embassies and Consulates
Kensington International Airport (KIA)
Aeroflot Travel Offices
Novagrad Airlines Travel Offices
Westminster International Skyport (WIS)
Stewart International Airport (STI)
Maddox International (MXI)
Victoria Centre Airport (VCA)

In addition, Vetalian commercial firms operating in the city have been permitted to transportation out of the city to processing sites. Firms licensed to perform this service will display a special version of the Vetalian flag with a red star in the corner. Any firms offering this service that do not have this flag, or which appears to be counterfeit, are in violation of the law and will be prosecuted.

Note: Other forms of transportation out of the country are possible, but the sheer demand placed on them will likely result in high costs and severe delays. We strongly recommend applying for evacuation flights as well as attempting evacuation via other methods.

Kensington, British Londinium

The broad, tree-lined avenues of Kensington, normally bustling with activity and people of all types, were deserted. Only the palms and cypresses remained. Few civilians chose to remain in a city that was about to experience the greatest battle in Londinian history. Ocassionally, a black and red police squad car would race along the arteriaroutes, rushing civilians towards evacuation centres or emergency shelters. Defences had been erected, foxholes dug, sniping positions established, beaches secured.

But, for the most part, the only activity on behalf of the military and police garrisons defending the capital and the government was waiting. Waiting for the Capitol Police to come knocking on their door. Waiting to die for Consul and country, as the State, as glorious Londinia, had expected of them.

For many, their only consolation was that their death would not occur in some distant land under attack by a cold, removed ruler, but defending their homes, family, friends, comrades. They had made peace with Orcus and Nænia. They were ready for Kraven.

"Is this all?" The Archbishop asked, looking at the assembled AL fighters in front of him.

"Yes sir, 645,000. About 300,000 are professionally trained, the others are volunteers who know little more than how to aim and shoot a gun."

"Hmm, less than i hoped, our army during the revolution was over twice this size."

"Yes, but not as well equipped. All of our men are equipped on par with infantry of any national army. Not nearly as many people are willing to fight for the Londinians freedom as are willing to fight for their own."

"Very well, let us set out at once."

"Yes sir."

Two hours later a fleet of civilian craft set out from the nearby port towards British Londinium. he fleet contained averything from deep sea fishing boats to tankers, as well as cargo ships for the vehicles and aircraft. Accompianing them were 243 gunboats, which were essentially civilian ships fitted with weapons.

As you know 'your' auxillary force is busy in Chechnya putting down the last remnants of a pathetic resistance.

People's Sovereign Republic of British Londinium

James Azzopardi wearily perused the massive digital world map opposite his desk. It served as a constant reminder that British Londinium was at the brink of destruction, that every single Londinian, from Northolt to Argyll, from Kensington to Glascovia, faced subjugation at the callous, sadistic hands of the Kraven Capitol Police. Whilst the people's steadfast determination had, in the past, thrown off the yoke of foreign oppressors before, James knew that the slightest insurrection, the most Lilliputian hint of nationalism, would be met with systematic extermination. He could not let that happen, lest he be responsible for two billion deaths. But, as the fatigued consul continued to examine the map, Azzopardi developed a plan - a plan that just might keep the Kravii at bay.

To the Supreme State:

There is no longer doubt in my mind that your armies sail towards British Londinium with the intent of Kravenization, the process of transforming this country into little more than a slave state used as a source of material and personnel, nothing more.

Notwithstanding your Brobdingnagian military might and your relentless drive to accomplish such Kravenization, British Londinium is a less than desirable target for your armed forces. Our natural resources are limited - we rely on a vast trade network spanning continents to obtain food, medicine, and fuels. Our economy relies upon the tertiary and quaternary sectors of industry, both of which will be of little use to your country.

We offer a more suitable alternative: Syria. Rich in phosphates, petroleum, and iron ore, Syria would serve as an excellent resource for the Kraven Corporation. There is also no shortage of manpower in the area as well, with nearly twenty million individuals residing in our colony, fifty-six percent of which are women. All we ask in return is a non-aggression pact and a cessation of hostilities. Please accept our most humble offer.

The Capitol Spire (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/JC_Denton/NationStates/Cities/?action=view&current=d347b739.jpg), Viconia City
Federated Union of Democratic Colonies

Sir Neil Jaeger, as the nation's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, was permitted a massive office in the Capitol Spire from which he could coordinate the Democratic Colonies' diplomatic efforts. It was beautifully decorated with pieces of sculptures and paintings, and was fitted with the finest of imported furnishings, but Jaeger gave none of these any attention the meeting in his office drew on and on.

"It's a risky idea, it's a dangerous idea, and I can't advise it," said Jaeger, rubbing his temples as his headache grew. "We're talking about a huge, an absolutely huge military deployment here. The expeditionary force alone will have to be massive, not to begin to mention what will have to be mobilized to defend our own nation while a sizable segment of the DC Navy is out fighting British Londinium's war."

"Trust me," said Sir Bruce Davison, the nation's Secretary of Defense. "I don't like it either, but I don't think we have much choice. Kraven Corporation is demanding millions of innocent women, sixty million innocent women, be handed over to them. I don't think I need to say what I believe will be done to them if Kraven Corporation gets their hands on them."

There was a murmur of agreement across the room as the unspeakable (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10113768&postcount=9) was imagined. The idea of sixty million women being lobotomized and used as birthing machines for the Kraven Corporation Capitol Police was sickening, enough to make even the coldest of souls shudder in revulsion.

"Look," said Jaeger, his tone grim, "I'm not saying that I want that to happen, but really, how much can we trust British Londinium? Yes, they've given us their assurances their days of blendering people are behind them, but how much can we trust them, really?"

"Well, we all know that they've offered, in a low profile way, ofcourse, some oil significant oil deposits off their Oickoidia colony," said Lady Gail Castelluccio, the Secretary of Trade and Commerce. "That would indicate to me, atleast, that they are serious about doing what is needed to get our assistance."

"That's assuming they actually give it to us after this conflict is done with," interjected Jaeger. "The President and the Legislative Assembly need options, not a collection of memos on why we should go to war."

"In all honesty, Sir Jaeger, I just don't see any other option," said Castelluccio. "We don't trade with Kraven Corporation, there's nothing we can offer them and nothing we can leverage them with, and you've said yourself that you highly doubt that any diplomatic maneuvering would have any effect unless backed by the concrete threat of serious action."

"Really, Sir Jaeger, can you think of a viable alternative to military deployment? Is there another way?" asked Russel Arbeit, the Director of Foreign Intelligence.

"No... I... I do not know," came the response from Jaeger after a long pause. "The Legislative Assembly is demanding a report, the President is demanding a report, and I do not know if there is another way. Yes, Sir Davison, we must do something, for our countrymen demand it and our honor demands it, but I only wish I knew of a way we could stop this without taking a step that I simply cannot help but dread."

"It is what needs to be done," said Davison. "I join you in your wish for an alternate solution, but as far as I can ascertain, there is none. You recommend that diplomatic efforts continue, and I agree, but as we have concluded today, those efforts cannot have any reasonable hope of success unless our Naval Action Groups are sortied and our paratroopers in the air."

The discussion continued with concerns debated and deployments examined, until finally a united recommendation to the Legislative Assembly and the President was reached.

Official International Communique
From the Office of Foreign Secretary Sir Neil Jaeger, Federated Union of Democratic Colonies
To the Offices of The High Command, The Supreme State of The Kraven Corporation

Following intensive discussion with the Government of the People's Sovereign Republic of British Londinium, it has been decided that as of today military forces from the Democratic Colonies will be provisionally deploying to defend the people of British Londinium against unwarranted foreign aggression.

The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies strongly urges The Kraven Corporation to reconsider its current military movements towards British Londinium, and dismiss any aggressive intentions that it might harbor.

While it is the hope of all of the peoples of the Democratic Colonies that this situation may be resolved peacefully, DC military forces deployed either to British Londinium or elsewhere have been placed on a heightened state of alert and will respond as appropriate to any aggressive elements.

The Head of Imperial Military Intelligence Nereïs Telán waited impatiently as the elevators digital display above the armoured doors ran off the floor numbers as it ascended to one of the upper levels of the Intelligence Headquarters building. She had received an urgent note from the communications interception and analysis department so she wasted no time in reacting to it.

When the machine finally arrived at its destination it let out a ping and said Communications – Level twenty four. One of the analysts was waiting outside the lift and led her through the corridors and computer centres to the room where the apparent emergency was. She was sceptical at first; communications was always intercepting things many of which were initially though of as important, but as one of the analysts explained the situation and showed her the last few transmission to pass between British Londinium and the Kraven Corporation it was very apparent that this time they had found something of importance.

With a few brief words of praise, Nereïs took copies of the transmissions and made straight for the Imperial Palace, which thankfully was located very near to the Intelligence building. Obviously, in most cases if something important was discovered the Emperor and the palace would be the first who needed to be informed of it. The journey took roughly ten minutes by car and within fifteen minutes she was sitting within the High Council chambers with the Emperor.

‘As you know we’ve been monitoring the multiple situations that British Londinium has gotten itself into recently,’ she spoke, handing the printed messages to Balor. She continued on without waiting for him to thoroughly read them, considering the main point of the problem and not the details of its origin to be important. ‘They have made many enemies so far but those nations are insignificant. The problem though is the one nation who offered them help against their enemies. The Kraven Corporation. I don’t doubt they had no intention of actually helping but the Londinian Government has refused them and their demands. We are guaranteed that there will now be an invasion.’

The Emperor was not impressed. It was news like this that made him wish he had supported the Anti-Kraven Alliances efforts to invade the Corporation itself. The Empire had the Kraven scum on the run and could have ended them then and there, but at the time the Council had decided against such actions.

‘Even if British Londinium wasn’t our ally,’ Balor supposed, ‘we cannot oblige the Corporation with a foothold so close to the Empire itself. Full mobilization is out of the question at the moment though. Until Caracas completes negotiations with the Undershi most of our forces are tied up in the League.’

‘So we can’t allow them to win but can’t send forces to repel them?’ Nereïs queried, slightly confused at the Emperors thinking out loud. ‘What if the negotiations fail, we will just have to sit back and see what happens?’

‘No, most definitely not,’ he declared in response. ‘The Londinians will have to hold out on their own for now but we can certainly tell them how best to do it. Organise a team of, shall we say, advisors, to send across and I will get your transport and a Legion escort ready at the airport.’

‘My Lord.’ She saluted and left to do just that.

The first Transport was hit, with deadly accuracy, sinking it outright, a bright fireball rose up into the sky as its fuel tanks were hit, twisting metal and causing the centre of the vessel to split in half, as both sides of the vessel pulled apart, dropping below the waves, hundreds of Capitol Police, Wolf Brigade Stormtroopers dropped into the cold waves below, their heavy armour and equipment dragging them below the waves and causing them to disappear, drowning a few minutes later...

Instantly the alarm was raised, with sirens wailing across the naval fleet, their defensive circle was closed already, but this attack came from beneath the waves, their questions were answered when another transport erupted in flames, and began to list heavily...

Within seconds the fleet was on high alert and high powered depth charges were being launched, Mimir Tracking ships began to locate the submersibles using active sonar and thermal tracking units, picking up the heat signatures from the submersibles power units…

Their Dedicated CIWS vessels, began to locate and pick off incoming torpedoes as more and more came in, destroying them in the waters and preventing any more damage…

Supply ships began to move in, picking up crew members and trying to rescue as many Capitol Police as possible from the listing Transport…

Within a few minutes however, its fuel tanks errupted as well, exploding and causing the Supply ships ammunition bays to erupt in a bright flurry of fire, sinking both and taking the lives of yet more Stormtroopers…

It was already a heavy blow….

“Admiral, Your orders?”

“Send a message to the 2nd Battlefleet, we need urgent assistance…”

“Aye Admiral…”

The message was sent to the 2nd battle fleet, requesting backup, each of the vessels now did their best to protect the remaining transports and fend off the submarines, using depth charges and ASMS (anti Submersible Mortar Systems) to try and repel the attackers….

Norska: Arterus

The operators that watched over the radar systems began to pick up peculiar signatures, various contacts far out to sea, giving the impression of a formation, visual was useless, as the possible hostile contacts were too far away, so a tracking sattelite was ordered to relay the images taken from that location, within a few minutes, images from that area were downloaded onto the operators console, giving clear indication that the contacts were indeed a hostile formation making its way towards Kraven Cities…

No warning was given, their distinct formation and style of craft, as well as number made it blatantly obvious they were attacking Kraven territory…

Instantly, the LRMS, activated, rising out of the ground and achieving target locks on the distant heat signatures pinpointed by the satellite array that was giving second by second, each one launched, giving a long white trail of smoke from each of the launching centres built into the walls around the city others on top of buildings, and in other areas each launched a combined total of around 2,500 missiles, each inbound on the incoming craft…

While at the same time, air raid sirens echoed out through the city, while Capitol Police gunners rushed to man the feared 120mm Flak Cannons that would reach out and strike the aircraft as they were above the city and while they were inbound….. Although the missile systems would take care of them for now, the immense Kraven air defence network was just about to show its capabilities…

Although, to ensure all responses were made, hundreds of Fighters and interceptors took to the skies and prepared to defend the Kraven mainland from these would be aggressors….

The first missile salvoes decimated the Allanean strike force. About a hundred and fifty aircraft were lost immediately. Their heavy cargoes made them extremely vulnerable to enemy fire, and they could not maneuver to dodge the enemy missiles at all. Even the SEPS and missile-defense systems that Allaneans were wont to install on their aircraft did not help. And this was not even the beginning of their ordeal. By the time they would be over the Kravenite cities, a hundred more aircraft would be shot down.

The pilots knew better then to eject over Kravenic territory. It was better to die then to be subjected to the horrors that Helghan and his monster soldiers had in store for every Allanean. And so they died, becoming living shooting stars, burning across the skies.

They now were over the cities. The enemy cannon were not as efficient as the other weapons, but several dozens of aircraft were shot down here as well.

20,000 meters over Gradenko

Frederick Green grit his teeth together in hatred. Two of the aircraft on his wing have already been destroyed – eight comrade-soldiers killed by the fascist scum below. But the Kravenites would pay, and he would be the one to make them pay.

He would not need to actually press the button. At speeds far exceeding the speed of sound, it would be difficult for Green to target anything with any sort of precision. As such, the approximate location at which to release the payloads has been pre-programmed into his aircraft targetting computers.Green was just the bus driver.

Even now, the bomb bays were opening, and the first B-61 nuclear bombs were speeding towards the ground. They were timed to hit at one-kilometer intervals, their explosion radii overlapping to kill as many Kravenites as possible. Those were 100-kiloton bombs, and his craft brought in 50 of them.

Green was the bus driver, and he had brought the passengers home.

On his left and right, other wingmen were, too, releasing their payloads. Slightly over 230 aircraft were flying over Gradenko that day. Of these, 200 were carrying 100-kiloton bombs, for an amazing payload of 10,000 nuclear weapons, aimed at killing as many Kravenic civilians as possible. Twenty more carried two dozens of B61 Mod 11 guided nuclear bunker-buster bombs each. These were aimed at the hardened bunker entrances at the outskirts of the city, which the Allaneans suspected led to the Kraven birthing facilities.

But the final strike would be ten 68-megaton thermonuclear bunker busters, the last of the stock of the Emperor Ian Paisley Mark I bombs. Allanea sent fifty of them on this trip. Only thirty survived.

Over Gossen and Belsen, the exact same thing was taking place.

Triumvirate Council Bunker, Fort Chase, Inner Leafanistan

Based off an Allanean design, the Triumvirate Council Bunker was the last resort for members of the Triumvirate Council if an attack ever came. It used to be a massive mountain that was mined to the ground for its marble and granite. Eventually the mine was abandoned, and left a gaping hole in the ground.

The government seized the abandoned mine in the wastelands of Inner Leafanistan, and began following in the footsteps of their ally. Millions of tons of reinforced concrete and lead plating slowly rebuilt the mountain. Meanwhile, miners began to dig into the thick bedrock there. A small vein of silver helped fund part of the project as they dug deeper. Eventually 4 kilometers down below the mountain.

Above the ground, thousands of tons of landfill from a canal project were trucked to nearby Fort Chase and dumped on top of the reinforced concrete structure. Trees were planted to hold the soil, and eventually a whole forest was replanted.

Normally it was mandated that only one member of the Triumvirate Council had to be in the lowest chamber, or at least nearby, but today, 2 members were in the lowest chamber, stripped down to nothing as the temperatures easily exceeded 100 degrees even with heavy air conditioning. The third member was on her way via supersonic transport and should arrive within the hour.

Allanea had nuked Kraven, and while the media cheered it, the Tirumvirate Council knew this was trouble.

Retaliation was going to happen, no buts about it, and they had to be ready.

Allanea was an ally, and the Leafanistani Government and her people were ready to jump on the grenade if hurled at Allanea.
