A Mousey Intrigue (Open, Character, MT/FT)

Mice, they're absolutely everywhere... Where-ever humans have settled they have brought with them mice, sometimes on purpose, othertimes by accident. In some places they can be in plague proportions, or you could barely even know they existed.

The little creatures are the houdini's of the animal world, getting into and out of places, baffling those that wish to keep the mice away. Setting traps to lure and kill, but no one has ever really thought...

Is there more to mice than meets the eye? Well, indeed these mice are not your common field mice variety, granted they look like as any other, perhaps a little bit bigger but barely noticable. These mice have had a secret... not only have people not thought the true implications of the spread of mice throughout the earth, and where-ever else mankind has spread.

What is thought to be curious, cute, harmless creatures that couldn't think their way out of a paper bag, are suddenly much more than that, not only intelligence but a quirk of history has lead to a race of mice that not only have the intelligence of a human, or greater but also innate magical abilities.

It's these magical abilities and their adaptation to the construction of miniscule-sized (for a human anway) magical devices. These mice work behind the scene manipulating around them. Are you sure it was Sock gremlins that keep stealing your socks? and not that cute, innocent looking mice you've got "locked up" in a cage? Their reasons are their own and what their goals are could be anything, all we know is that life would be totally different with mice.

Hello all, this is my nations first time to RP out of the World Cup.

Basically I'm looking for various nations for my mice to do their little machinations. Introduce a character and give me something to work with, and a way to influence the character.

I'm looking for 3 or 4 nations, excluding Atheistic Right which is another nation controlled by me, to join and basically I am looking to start small and start to build up a chain of dominoes that will result in major changes for Atheistic Right (and perhaps other nations involved too)

Come one come all..

This coffee was good stuff, some of the best he had ever tasted. Robert Jones mused as he stared into space. He was in his house at his small, kitchen table in his cosy kitchen in his house the size of half a brick. It wasn't very comfortable but at least he had his coffee.

That was when action in the corner of his eye caught his attention and disrupted his thoughts about just how much he liked this coffee. It was a mouse running along the top of some cabinets that he barely had room for. Fear struck through his heart, he raced into the cupboard he kept his meager food supplies.

His worst fears were answered that damned mouse had stolen some of his coffee, the only item that made his life bearable. That was it, he was determined to get rid of that mouse if it was the last thing, the only thing was how to do it with his limited supplies, he needed to make a trap, something that would both lure and kill him. He had set up those cheap mouse traps that go snap before but without any luck. This was a mouse that seemed to always be one step ahead of him, no matter what he did there was always something that he got away with and this would be the last straw.
Kahanistan

Ahmed Muhammad al-Jafar lived in a house in Metzuda, the capital of Kahanistan. His house was overrun with mice, as during the war bodies were taken to Civil Defence volunteers' houses to be sorted, identified, and buried. (The morgues were overflowing, as many of the hospitals to which they were attached had been bombed, and there were fewer morgues to go around.)

Ahmed had sprayed the bodies liberally with rat poison, and had had his fill with mice. He went down to his bomb shelter, which was free of corpses, and decided to rest from his long day volunteering for Civil Defence. There, on his TV set, staring directly at him, was a mouse.

The Mouse squeaked and ran down the back of the TV, getting onto the floor and running through a doorway. Whether the door was open or closed didn't matter there was certainly enough gap for the mouse to easily squeeze through.

It was obvious that the mice were moving with impunity throughout his house and with the mouse that stood there it was obvious that they were getting more and more blatant all the time.
