Open Communique to Storefronts and Nations
The Federal Republic of Hamilay Navy is searching for a suitable superdreadnought or dreadnought to replace our three aging Questarian Prince of Wales-class vessels (RHS Adjudicator, Avenger and Liberator). The Navy is fully aware of the increasing trends away from surface combatants due to the prevalence of advanced missile technology, but we believe that the intimidation and morale purposes of having a large capital warship sailing with major Hamilayan battlegroups is a duty that can never be done by any other piece of military hardware. We wish to construct from purchased plans and production rights or simply purchase outright- either is acceptable- between eight and twelve of these capital warships, of over seven hundred metres. The class of warship would ideally be a single-hulled design, with at least ten heavy guns and a reasonable helicopter capability. Fixed-wing aircraft capability such as that found on some trimaran superdreadnoughts is not necessary. However, this is perfectly acceptable if there are no other models which fit our requirements better. Money is no object.
Sincerely,
Hamilayan Ministry of Defence
Naval High Command
OOC: Pictures are greatly appreciated. Sorry, this probably makes me sound shallow and/or unimaginative, but since dreadnoughts have no real-life parallels it's always nice to have something to look at.
