Freedom comes at a price... (open, MT)
President's office, Caz'e city
a wry smile etched itself across Cargill's face. he had become mad with power, and had declared Cazelia a dictatorship run by the Cargill family.
Law of New Cazelian order
democracy has been banned. any referance of the Hasley family has been banned. any citizen found outside their homes after 7:00 PM will be shot. insult of the Cargill family is punishable by death.
Sincerally,
King Jonathan Cargill III
Caz'e City
dozens of trucks filled with the newly formed Cargillian Guard burst into homes, looting and raping the women. as the citizens fled fromtheir homes, tanks surrounded the city, killing all who tried to get out...
four days later, a resistance group led by Ingram Hasley and Thomas Knight began smuggling arms and supplies to the survivors, begining a resistance to dispose of Cargill and re-instate a fragile democracy...

Reaper, I want to help. My father's not pleased, but the fact is that I'm 17 now, and under Prestonian Law, I'm a man. How can I be of service to you and your bid to free Cazelia once and for all?
P.S. As you can tell I've been promoted. Got it in North Calaveras, flying escorts for aid planes. Not much of a job but still something to do.

My father can meet with you at your leisure. He regards you as a son and Cazelians as the brethren of the Prestonians, so you should have no problems swaying him. The main reason he's apprehensive to let me go is the parental instinct. When I arrive in Cazelia, I have extremely good news to tell you.
P.S. Do the rebels need fighter pilots? You know damn well how good I am, and the Air Force just got some F/A 15D Cardinals. Kick-ass plane if I do say so myself. You can fly out here and pick one up if you want.

Major Ingram Hasley,
It has come to our attention that you are perhaps in need of the services of a skilled mercenary group, a position which we of the Twenty Three Mountains Clan would be most pleased to fill should you wish to obtain these services from us.
For a nominal fee, we will be pleased to alocate a number of highly trained commmando units, placing them at your disposal for the duration of the conflict. As a special offer, we are offering this one-time fee as a one-time deal, you pay, we send the soldiers, they do what you tell them. The only additional fee is a standard death-compensation fee per casualty, after all, soldiers arent cheap and we have to pay when they die.
This is not an especially large fee, so do not be overly worried.
If youare in need of more conventional assistance, we regret that the Twenty Three Mountains military is presently occupied in keeping those Yellow Alliance bastards from running all over our territory. We might be able to spare a bit of armor though, if you've got somebody to transport it.

My dear...king. I have watched your little power trip with growing unease and anger, and wish to inform you that it has gone far enough. I demand that you relenquish whatever insane dreams of dictatorial rule you have and step down to allow the creation of a democratic government, or the Hegemony will wipe your pathetic little government off of the face of the earth. If you are still unclear as to what i expect you to do, I am sure a Hegemony military force can enlighten you. If any more civilian shootings should occur, then you will not leave your nation alive.

From: The Government of Illor
The ideals of Illor are based on freedom of choice for all, and while we can offer no military forces, as we've very little, Illor would gladly offer medical services and supplies, food, shelter, and other non-combatant services to your attempt to overthrow this corrupt and stifling dictatorship.
The only people ruling should be the people themselves.

To the Hasley Family,
The government is fully supportive of democracy, and as such offers to aid the struggle of power to a democracy.
Therefore, a 10 - man unit, classified as Squad Alpha 5, will be assisting you by offering you safe passage to the border, and from their wherever you wish.
We hope this power struggle is resolved soon.
=====
Squad Alpha 5 were prepping for the rescue mission that had been foreseen. They would not let the democracy in the country die.

The Imperial Empire of Maldorians laughs at Cazelia's sad attempt to get attention on the international level. All this rucus with the Cargill and Hasley families is starting to get annoying. Learn to handle your own little domestic problems without crying to the world.

OOC: People contemplating sending military/aid/individuals into Cazelia should take note of the fact that they will be entering into a war zone, with millions of allied troops converging on the country and munitions flying this way and that (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=534966), in addition to the civil war which has just broken out. The safety of your personnel would be highly doubtful. At best.
Aurum Domus

Special forces had been secretly stationed in Cazelia ever since rebuilding after the war with British Londinium. Unless they were needed they posed as security guards for the many Aurum Doman owned businesses and factories in Cazelia. When Cargill took over they were called to action.
To: Ingram Hasley
From: Colonel R.B. Smith
I have for you a contingent of 1,000 of the finest Marine special forces out of Aurum Domus. Tell us what you have for us to do and we'll do it.
