The Imperium Exits International Isolation

The Emperor has announced today via Imperial Decree that the Dracun Imperium, our glorious nation shall enter the world stage following our total isolation from the international community. We have the Decree's transcript for you here,


"The Imperium shall hence forth begin to engage other nations on the international stage and pursue a policy of national-interest to increase the power and influence of the Dracun Imperium. The world now has the privilege of a power like the Imperium to be insuring true justice, true peace, and true stability are maintained."

Instantly Sedo called for foreign nations to join the soon-to-be-legions of followers that will follow the Imperium's every will. The Emperor said that nations who join the growing ranks of the Imperium's allies will be sparred from the crusades that will follow to establish the Imperium as a benevolent force for the world.

Glory to The Imperium, Glory to Sedo!

The Imperium shall be a brutal and harsh nation both domestically and internationally where gladiators are the sports heroes, slavery still exists and all the generic ‘evil’ nation. Official Communiqué to Emperor Sedo of Dracun Imperium

Greetings!

It is rare that a nation so large and formerly influential emerges from isolation, and we would be happy to open diplomatic and trade relations with the Imperium. Steel and Fire is a large and economically prosperous nation (with an estimated $240 trillion GDP), possessing a variety of resources as well as being a nation of formidable military strength; we would be honoured to be considered allies with such a nation as the Imperium. If your Imperial Majesty is interested in our offer, please let us know.

"I hope I didn't overdo it," Jones murmured as he sank into a plush armchair.

"To the contrary! That was splendid," Rutherford exclaimed. "Should keep the old buffers pacified.... and anyway, from the way it sounds, they're going to be 'bringing justice' to the world through military means, and being on the wrong side of that would be quite annoying."

"Quite," agreed Aaronson, the taciturn third man in the Triumvirate. Jones was the Triumvirate's mouthpiece; although the messages were signed for all three of them, and the other two gave Jones suggestions, the messages were largely his own voice.

"I'm interested to see where this leads, myself," Rutherford said.
