Ground crews look up at the sky scaning for the last fighter to land from the battle over Annapolis
"Q there to the west is that him"asked one of them
"that the wing commander plane and he got a hell of lot of smoke pouring out and no landing wheels down so stand by to pull him out"said Q as he gets on to the firetruck
"hold together girl"said Stone as the underbelly hits the runway sparks shot up around the cookpit
"move boys that thing going to go up in flames when it stops"said Q as the trucks move out
Stone plane cames to a stop on the runway with fire starting move out from the engine mount
"oh shit"said Stone as he opens the canopy , jump out and hits the drit just in time as the plane blows up as the firetrucks near it

hours later Stone sits at the bar with squadrons mascot Black Ice laying next to his stool
"Jills going to kill me Pete"said Stone as he left his glass to his lip to finish off mouth full that was left
"why that"ask Pete the barman as he cleans the bar
"smashed the watch she given me for my 20th"said Stone as put down the glass
"in the battle or after the landing"asked Pete as he picks up the glass to wash it
"the landing"said Stone as he leaves money on the Bar and got up from the stool
"oh well can't be helped "said Pete as Stone left with Black Ice walking next to him

Jill walked down the street to the local bar she knew that Stone attended regularily. She heard about his crash and was hoping that he would be ok. She turned the corner just in time to see him exit the bar and walk down the street with his friend.
"Hey! Stone!" She called.
