This is Sun Taihong of the Zhonghua Renguo Media-Controlled We Love Our Government Weekly, reporting in on breaking news from the Imperial Palace of Zhonghua Renguo

As of yesterday, August 10, 2007, 2:00 PM local time, a new cult was formed against the empire. Though details are scarce, the cult is said to currently have 400 members. Their headquarters is unknown, along with what access to weaponry they have, but any information that is discovered will be included in a special late edition of ZRMCWLOG Weekly.

Currently, Secretary of War Tian Lihong is preparing the Zhonghua Renguo Army (ZRA) for any retaliation made towards provincial capitols, places of worship, and His Majesty's favorite diner.

The Zhonghua Renguo National Security Agency (ZRNSA) is calling for a State-of-Emergency should such an attack occur, and requests that the nation be put on Def-Con Alert Delta and that a nation-wide curfew be put in place.

In a press conference later that day, at approximately 7:55 PM local time, His Majesty the Emperor Wang Shilong declared,

"Citizens, rest assured that this cult is nothing more than an insignificant gathering of lazy people that do not want to work, despite the WelFare policy that was instated last week. And if any cult members are watching, I give you two options: Surrender, or die."

Then today, at 3:54 PM local time, the cult now discovered to be known as the People's Yellow Spirit has attacked the diner on Interstate 5, the very same diner where His Majesty thee Emperor Wang Shilong casually dines. Though His Highness was not present, his younger sister Wang Meihua was. The PYS then proceeded to kidnap Lady Meihua and set fire to the diner. 25 died in the blaze.

Shortly after the attack, His Majesty allowed the ZRNSA to order a State-Of-Emergency and put the entire country on Def-Con Alert Delta. All citizens were then put on a 6 o'clock curfew. All violators would either be arrested then killed, or killed on the spot.

Secretary of State Liu Feng held a Q&A conference earlier today on behalf of His Majesty.

During the conference, I asked him what steps the empire will take towards rescuing Lady Meihua and rebuilding the World Pancakes Diner, the ruins of which are referred to as Ground Syrup. Name is pending.

"Rest assured that Lady Meihua will be returned safe and sound," says Liu. "The 2012 Winter Olympiads will not be postponed due to this travesty. As for His Majesty's favorite diner, construction crews from throughout the country are being called upon to clear the rubble and create better, newer restaurant."

This new restaurant is rumored to be named the Oppression Diner. Again, name is pending.

As for military action towards the PYS, Secretary of War Tian Lihong has kept to his promise. Currently, 500,000 soldiers are scouring the nation in search of Cultists of Mass Destruction.

Currently, I am writing from my seat in the Press Center. Roughly 20 minutes ago, Press Secretary Li Tai had delivered a speech from His Majesty, stating that today, August 11, 2007, will:

"Live on as a day of infamy. 8/11 will never be forgotten by the people of Zhonghua Renguo. May the Emperor bless us."

Squad Alpha 4 were active in the area: they had been sent on a recon mission to investigate a new terrorist cell.

Now they were waiting for the satellite feed analysis from EITS 6 to show them what had happened, and where the terrorist cell were headed. Then they would infiltrate there with their "aquired" transport.

The squad in the meanwhile checekd the crossbows were ready for the attack.

This is Sun Taihong with a special report. A country identified as Alfegos has sent a 'Squad Alpha 4' into Zhonghua Renguo territoy. However, due to the Empire's current state, their prescence is welcome. In compliance to the request of Squad Alpha 4, the ZRNSA has posted the following video on YouTube. This is recovered surveillance from a half-destroyed security camera from outside the diner.

5 men wearing yellow ski-masks, yellow ski-suits, and well, yellow everything, kicked open the doors of the World Pancakes Diner, all armed with AK-47 assault rifles. The first one in fire several shots into a couple sitting at the counter with their back to them.

"Nobody move!" he yelled as the 4 other men fired at 3 men wearing black suits, guarding a woman in a light blue business dress. One of the men in black dove in front of the woman to keep her from getting shot while the other 2 grabbed her head and feet and took her to the nearby bathroom.

The man who fired at the couple swore and shot at a cowering patron who had taken cover behind a seat. He pointed towards 3 of his accomplices. "Alright, you guys, go get Lady Meihua."

The 3 nodded and moved towards the bathroom. The leader picked up an elderly man by the collar and threw him over the counter, firing at his flying form as he slid across the counter.

The man that was left with the leader grabbed the other's shoulder. "Relax, Ping. I'll cover our exit, how about you set the explosives?"

The leader, Ping, sighed and nodded. He climbed over the counter, punched the waitress, and entered the kitchen with a pack of C4 in hand.

Meanwhile, the 3 that Ping had ordered to retrieve Lady Meihua from the bathroom were preparing to enter when one of the Lady's bodyguards kicked open the bathroom door, breaking the nose of the terrorist that was about to open the door. He fired at the terrorist next in line, putting a bullet in his head.

The remaining terrorist managed to pop up his AK-47s before the bodyguard could kill him and unloaded a Hellish rain of lead into the bodyguard, forcing him backwards.

Soon after the first bodyguard fell, the last one charged out, firing his pistol at the terrorist that had killed his partner. The slammed door knocked out the terrorist that had been dazed by the first doorshot to the face.

The terrorist caught a bullet in the arm before he brought his firearm back to bear and shot a 3-round burst into the bodyguard's face. With all of the bodyguards down, one comrade dead and another incapacitated, the terrorist went into the bathroom. Seconds later, he came out with an unconscious Lady Meihua draped over his shoudler like a bag of rice.

He kicked his unconscious comrade and yelled, "Hey Li, wake the Hell up!"

Li, the blood from his broken nose starting to seep through his mask, stirred and clutched his face. "Oh these Loyalists will surely pay. No one gets in the way of the People's Yellow Spirit."

The other terrorist offered Li a hand to pull him back up. "Damn straight." He then yelled over to the terrorist guarding the door. "Hey Chung, Ping done setting them explosives yet?"

Chung, the door guard, shook his head. "No, he's still in the kitchen. What's taking him so long?" he said to himself as he shot at yet another civillian that was trying to sneak out, making the casualty count rise to 10.

He was answered when a cook came out, chased by Ping who was wielding a a cutting knife and had a small slash on his arm. Ping caught up to the fat cook and shoved his knife into the man's spine. "That'll teach ya." He pushed the cook out of the way and climbed over the counter. "Bomb's set."

Chung nodded as Li, Ping, and the other guy gathered around the door. "Let's get outta' here. The cops're probably on their way. I can't wait to get back! Those sunsets are really amazing."

Ping punched Chung in the arm. "Quit your girly day-dreaming. I set a 5 minute timer to make sure that none of these civillians escape."

"Right." With that, the 4 remaining terrorist exited the diner, with Ping and Chung firing into civillians that tried to make a break for the windows. As soon as the door closed, civillians popped out of their covered and made a dash for the door, only to find that it was locked.

Seconds later, an explosion ripped from out of the kitchen area, volatile kitchen gases and grease increasing the explosion's effect. The camera feed went dead.

They watched the video found, and saw the arms and tactics used by the terrorists. They should be easy enough to handle. The AK - 47s told all.
Now for the satellite feed from EITS 6.

They had it now: it was tracking a truck moving through dense foliage to some sort of hideout. It was picked up easily in the near infared.

Now to get moving. The two landrovers started, then started racing down the motorway, following the directions to where the truck and hideout were. This would be simple. Terrorists with AK - 47s weren't usually to highly equipped. But this would have to be a non-lethal operation. The special equipment would help there

"Milord!" Grand General Zhang Jiangjun said as he bowed deeply to the Emperor. "We've been tracking the movements of the Alfegos Special Forces Unit codenamed 'Squad Alpha 4.' They've found the headquarters of the PYS Cult-Terrorist Organization.

"Excellent," said the Emperor of Zhonghua Renguo. "Prepare to nuke them!"

"Sir, your sister's in there along with our new allies!" the Secretary of War, Tian Lihong, interjected.

"Fine, how about we invade their asses!"

"Their asses are here, sir," muttered Grand General Zhang.

The Emperor flung his hands in the air. "You guys take the fun out of everything! Fine, put this in the papers."

August 12, 2007. From the studios of Zhonghua Renguo Media-Controlled We Love Our Government Weekly, lead anchor Qin Bei with a breaking news report.

This just in, His Majesty the Emperor has ordered all military forces to surround an undisclosed location. Though the reason was not released to the public, one can speculate that this location is where the People's Yellow Spirit Terrorist Organization's headquarters are located.

This is confirmed in a press conference. There, Press Secretary Li Tai delivered the following announcement.

"At 12 o'clock noon today, August 12, 2007, Secretary of War Tian Lihong has ordered for all Zhonghua Renguo military personnel to rally around the following coordinates: 7.5976 North, 12.3519 West, and 8 miles away from that one forest. You know, the only one we have left? The one with all the tigers? Well, the 50 tigers left in the country? Ah, forget it. Go read some books, you all look like uneducated press monkeys."

In retaliation to the press conference, the PYS released the following video on YouTube.

A man in a yellow ski mask, ski suit, and ski pants knocked on the lens of a camera. Behind him is a map that appeared to be of a base. The surrounding clearly show that of a cave.

"Is-Is this thing on?" he asked as he back away. "Yeah? Good." He cleared his throat. "Greetings Infidels. I implore all of you to cease your devilish ways. A voice from off screen yelled at the man on screen. "Death threat! Death threat!" Soon, an entire chorus broke out into a chant. "Death threat! Death threat!"

The man laughed. "Alright, alright, death threat it is. Ahem. If you government devils don't go away right now, we'll all be, like, super pissed off and we'll blow something up again!"
