Ray Shields/Particle Shields is the way to go :p (that's what I use...)

Not sure how exactly I'll pan into war, but I may try and swing something akin to ST's Dominion War, not completely sure. My government is secular :D

eh if everything goes down the way i think it will, the first person will actually be on the run from these people, fleeing to nearby allies, which would actually be best for you to be the first since your platforms are mobile,

as for TPF, fight hard, and never give up, i susspect were all going to take heavy losses in this.

Way I see it is, Ill be forced back to my core worlds, there I'll get the first victory but if its short lived or not we will just have to see, I already got plans for new ships and stuff to use.

Assuming Wanderjar is RPing the Godly Alienz, I'd probaly either go with Nod or the Scrin (you could go with general Telros too, but I don't think that the GDI is the best bet, especially since there are already two on the "good" side, and I'm leaning that way).

Scrin do have space craft so thats an advantage

GDI and Nod both have spacecraft; these are their FT versions.

And also, its the Kaldathi, not the Scrin. They are based heavily on the Scrin but are not them.

Telros would be out; Good guys as well.

I think the Kaldathi, on the bad side just so they can blow stuff up. However, do we need big fleets or whatnot?

hey guys lets um stick to NS numbers okay, it makes it more of a challenge. This supposed to be like epic struggle for an entire aliance of nations, sort of like the allies Vs germany before US joined in. This whole invasion, is gonna consist of strategic skirmishes, guerilla warfare, assasinations, death squads, genocide, covert ops, and not to mention Battles of Epic porportions, especially, the final battle where all take on the invaders in one last stand. Kind of like the end of Starcraft One. The zerg have taken over most of the Protoss homeworld, and the Protoss ally with the Terrans in one desperate last stand to destroy the overmind and the zerg. You know that sort of thing.
