Questions to the Consul
Aedifices Parliamentarii
Kensington, British Londinium
Thursday, 1 December 2012

Consul Sir Alistair Davidson stood confidently behind the dispatch box, and elegant brushed titanium and glass affair, waiting for Leader of the Opposition Sarah Halifax, a leading Conservative MP from Pembroke Springs, to ask the first question of the Consul's Questions. He briefly glanced at the blue LBG Parliament cameras in the back of the Senate filming him and smiled.

A woman, smartly dressed in a light pink suit with a matching skirt, rose from her black and red chair.

"Mr Consul," she began. "Please list your engagements for the day."

"This morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others," Sir Alistair replied quickly. "In addition to my duties in the Senate, I will have further such meetings later today."

"Follow up question, Consul," said another MP, this one Socialist, as he stood up. "What is the current situation with the Terranists in Nova Pictavia?"

"It is proceeding extremely well, Mr Magro," Sir Alistair said. "Our forces currently are in the process of subduing Pictish forces in Inverness, having successfully repelled enemy fleets offshore."

"Mr Davidson," started a third MP. "What of reports of growing Terranist movements domestically?"

This was the first question in the Consul's political history to make him rather nervous. He paused for a moment before responding.

"I have heard the same reports from the Ministry of State Security and from the Minister for the Home Office," Sir Alistair said. "And let me assure you this government is taking all measures to counter any and all influence the Terranists are accruing in British Londinium."

Bsharri, British Londinium
1131 hours

Disgusting, thought Special Agent Oberti as he peered through the night vision scope mounted on his sniper rifle at a darkened bungalow. He sighed. Oberti's target, Joseph Grueber, the leader of the Londinian Terranist movement, had yet to arrive.

A man stumbled down the street, laughing foolishly as he groped a sixteen-year-old girl who was accompanying him, probably a naive Terranist due for some 'private sermons' with Grueber.

Oberti briefly set down his gun to check the face of the man on the street with the photograph issued to him by the Ministry of State Security. It was a match.

"Recycle this, bitches," he muttered as he unleashed two bullets, which swiftly penetrated the craniums of both the man and his young acolyte. Their bodies fell against the cement with a thump, blood pooling around their bodies.

Two Terranists down, several thousand more to go.

The Empire offers you a more peaceful alternative to slaughtering the Terranists.

As we've mentioned before, the Empire has settled an island called Mesoarbourea. However, there are 15 countyships on this island that are completely uninhabited, and in need of settlers who will preserve the native enviornment. As we stated to the religious movement in question, we will allow Terranists to settle there under level-3 Imperial citizenship. VIolent members WILL be arrested and rehabilitated by the Empire. The Empire settles a new province, Londinium gets rid of its unrest, and no blood is shed. Please consider this option.

Fyren Redwood

Official Communiqué

To the Kiravian Empire:

We have reviewed your proposal carefully, and have determined that the majority of the PSR's Terranist population prefers emigration to another, more 'accepting' nation, rather than remaining in the country and fighting to remove the label of 'terrorist organization' given to them by the Ministry of State Security.

I thank you wholeheartedly for your assistance; deportation to the islands will begin at once.

Sincerely,

{{OOC: Troops, at helm! All aboard the Seawolves! Classifaction SW-S1. A stripped version of the Seawolf Attack Submarine that has only two torpedo tubes, with the same amount of torpedoes. Their top guns however consist of two, AA 30mm cannon that have been modified to be used against ground targets. Along with this a 90mm Mortar has been placed in the back to be allowed firing capability.

It's engines are nuclear powered but are exteremely quiet, as it take minimal power to propel the stripped ship. It takes around seventy sailors to man all the guns and navigate the submarine effectively. The ships can hold five hundred men, including the seventy sailors, and has an elevator-like device at the front of the craft to allow the troops to move in effectively, this is coupled with its eight exit doors, four on each side. It also has a device shaped like tires to roll it on and off of beaches.

A fleet of eight SW-S1 ships will be sent to the beaches to capture the position. They will be semi-conscripts, trained in the art of single-fire rifles and stealth.Four thousand two hundred and forty Fuslidats.}}

Wait, hold the hell on. The Terranists, first of all, aren't even there yet.
Second of all, It's not a going to be a purely Terranist colony. There are already 5,400 Kiravian settlers there, including 200 atheists, 400 Christians, and a bunch of Theists, Humanists, and Unitarians. Besides, what threat are they to anyone but us there? Hell, with our educational system, we could turn the lot into enviornmental engineers. I'll get you a map though.

http://editthis.info/images/sovfed/6/6b/Mesoarbourea.PNG

Here's your map. Mesoarbourea is a newly aquired colony. It has a population of 5,400 Kiravian settlers.

Mesoarbourea consists of 2 main islands, Macalus Island and several small islets. They are covered in misty, and in places, swampy, temperate rainforest conifers and some well-dapted teak trees. Attepts to create a logging industry failed due to poor wood quality (humidity, insect damage). THe climate shifts between 3 seasons, the Temperate Season, the Tropical Season, and the Subtropical Season

The mainstay of the economy is fishing, and no viable resources have been found as of yet. The Empire plans to cultivate tea, cale, and temperate spices on the islands. The capital is Middletree.

As of yet, this island has nothing to do with Terranism. The land planned as the limits for Terranist settlement is marked. There are 15 soldiers in Baltera, but other than that, the island is unarmed civillians.

Lower Admiral Jing Patsman looked threw his telescope as he entered the waters near Mesoarbourea. "Is this, this 'Mesoarbourea' that we intercepted that communications about, ensign?" His gruff voice frightened most, but his ensign was not one of the most, that's the partial reason why he promoted him to such a rank.

Left Ensign Ring Golfman faced his commander, "Yes, sir." As he read the navigations table, "Exact spot," He sneezed, the spew was visible to everyone in the bay, and it disgusted most, but his commander didn't seem to mind, he continued his report. "Except the Terranists haven't been moved to this pitiful island yet."

Admiral Patsman smiled as he looked towards the young Ensign Golfman, the man would have usually worn a white chest piece, matching with black dress pants, and top it off with a white military cap, and his signature pocket watch. Except in these conditions, if they were captured they couldn't be linked to Buddha C so the young Ensign Golfman was forced to wear the common clothes of a pirate, keeping his pocket watch though. The Admiral began his orders. "Get me a satellite picture of the terrain." The Ensign saluted and began to complete his orders....

Several Hours Later
Ensign Golfman ran up to his commander, "Sir," He handed him a printed out map of the islands. His uniform was wrinkled, his face sweaty. It had been a hassle to get threw all the security codes, his government was being real secretive about it since the Echo Islands' decree. He didn't know why his nation was being cautious with such a small nation, but he did know the CA-NPE war would take a tole on Buddha C, maybe they wanted to keep their enemy's minimal, it would make sense.

Admiral Patsman snatched the paper away from his ensign, not meaning to be disrespectful but had grown impatient. "What took you so long," he stated roughly, holding up his hand, "That's rhetorical, Ensign." He scanned the paper, his mind was racing with ideas, "Bring the Fuslidat commander, quickly."

Ensign Golfman ran off to find the other commander, and was quick achieving his mission in just under ten minutes. The Fuslidat commander was a man in his mid years, a man of work and the common people, he had trained most of the Fuslidats himself and took pride in his work, but had a lack for military respect and order outside his own unit. "Yes? What did you call me for?"

The meeting took several hours, the men shooting ideas at each other, Ensign Golfman periodically jumping in from time-to-time, his ideas received, but mostly denied. Finally after the meeting was done Admiral Patsman stated. "Alright, so your troops will be dropped at the eastern large island, near the the eastern most northern city (Mistwood), from there you will move to the city adjacent to it (Lyraeina), then secure that northern tip and slowly move to take over the island. From there we'll improvise." The meeting was adjurned and the submarine armada hovered just outside Mistwood.

[Oops! Time-warp!]

The citizens of Mistwood were going about their daily buisness. SOme were preparing their fishing boats for the day, others were tending to the small vegetable plots that helped feed the colony. Mistwood was a small settlement, the smallest in the province after Longshore. All was well, and the people of the village had no clue what was hovering off shore.

{{Assuming that the Terranists have been moved.}}The Fuslidats were ordered to prepare to attack the city. The engagement would begin in seconds. The submarines crept closer and closer to the beaches, it took two minutes for the guns on the submarines to be seen, but when they were in seconds men were manning them, firing at the surroundings boats and people on the beachhead, making sure none of them would be alive to tell of them. The 90mm mortars fired against the city, while not accurate, than to preset satellite-given coordinates they would be within the village.

[Fuslidat Jerry Wongfellow]
"Move, move, move!" The order was heard from his squad's leader. He was one of the lucky men that were able to climb out the side of the vessel, and being the first out also helped. He turned his head as he saw his fellow soldiers charge the beaches with bayonets on their Kar 98k's, he noticed the roar of gunfire and looked around. Hundreds, if not thousands of rounds were littering the fishermen's boats and the poor people who were on the beach, getting decimated, their screams were so shreaking.

"Move it, Wonfellow!" His sergeant ordered as he yanked him out of his days and onto the beach, "Fire at anyone who isn't one of us." His sergeant ordered, which, luckily and sadly he didn't see any bodies to shoot... atleast living ones. Two hours had passed the group of some four thousand men had been unloaded off their submarine transports and their subs had hidden themselves under the water.

"Alright, boys, move to the village!" The city was small, and the population matched it. Wongfellow himself had to stab a young man in the chest with his bayonet, and shoot a woman running from the city. He also was forced to burn the village, and then ordered to move to an adjacent village, and other settlements he would have ran across would have to be burned to the ground.

A young man with an injured arm limps into the town square of Orkney Harbour. "Run! Mistwood's been attacked! Call Baltera! Sound an alarm!"

The maor of Orkney harbour attends to the wounded citizen, "How many are there?"

"More than a hundred," he pants, "Bayonets, Submarines, killing everyone, men, women, and children. My wife...Sir, you must call the government, call Baltera."

Soon the alarm is sounded. The people of Orkney Harbour, Baltera, and Bayport arm themselves. THis is wahy the Empire mandated military training for all citizens, and armouries built in all settlements throughout the Empire.

The fortifications around Baltera and Middletree are manned. It won't be much, but it will be all they had.

The Governor had contacted the Empire, but the province had no armies, save for 15 soldiers in Baltera, 400 reservists, and the trained citizenry. This was going to be hell.

Wongfellow had marched for six hours, his mind was racing. He was trying to understand why they had to kill so how many, even on the way they had torched several villages, small with populations under fifty people. But they had reached their destination, the city had been armed and they were ready for their attack. "Wongfellow, orders from above tell us we rest till first light then prepare to attack." His sergeant told him, Wongfellow had a bright face now that he was prepared to fight, rested.

19:00
It was pitch black, the bonfires had been put out, the thousands of men held up their rifles. Wongfellow saw a man walking around, look like some sort of sentry, he took aim and fired. Immediately afterwards he heard, "Charge!" And the men followed suit and moved in, firing wildly as they fired their weapons sparadically, Wongfellow himself shot off four more rounds at people in the middle of the road that had tried to run, reloading his gun afterwards.

Official Communiqué

We wish to covey our distress at the apparent religious genocide against Terranists which is occurring in the Kiravian colonies and in British Londinium.

We ash that the new consul of British Londinium uses his new powers in the name of liberty and freedom, and recognize the Terranists in Londinium's right to existence. We would also like to highlight the superb medical treatment received by Londinian service personnel in Inverness was done so as an act of good-faith.
