The Situation Room [OPEN]

Nash Air Force Base, somewhere in Southwest Leocardia

The radar blinked twice, before being shut off. "You think we're going to use this place again?" An electrician spoke to his friends in the room detaching everything. "No. They're just going to stick with Terminal 7 Headquarters." Nash Air Force Base was considered obsolete in Leocardian Defensive Standards (LDS) and was requested to have a $500 billion dollar makeover, considering the size of the massive air base. Still, yet, the Terminal 7 of the base, which takes up 70% of the base, is still presence. Half the air base's AA defenses were down, and three major cities are vulnerable to having an air raid. However, because of the LDS standard on all Leocardian air bases, five air bases will extend their coverage into the three cities to provide some protection.

Just in Terminal 7 is Marshall James Brown, an inexperienced Marshall for only a year. His father was the Marshall before, but had gone on vacation, and left his son the position. He just walked into his office, hung his jacket on the coat-hanger and logged onto his account on his computer. "Relax, it's just a few weeks. Leocardia won't be doing anything in that time." His dad's quote stayed in his head since he left 4 days ago. Doing his paperwork, he got a memo from dad before he left. Staring at the memo from time to time, he wondered what he will explain to the Air Force representative that will head on to talk to President Batista. It was a tough week for him.

OOC: Sorry for shit post. I'll make it better. Keep it like this.

"Sir, the detachment of Nash Air Base is completed." A spokesman said to President Batista in a meeting. "If all things go well, the three major cities will be safe from any threat."

"What are the LDS in the area?" He asked anxiously. Leocardia had been at the brink of war many times. It was a common for Batista to ask such a question. Almost everyday he would ask for LDS in a specific area.

"LDS has extensive coverage from other air bases in the area. Terminal 7 is still active, but defenses are shut down temporarily for updating its obsolete defensive systems." He looked down at his report. "And..." He came to an unconcluding pause.

"And...? Are you going to finish?"

Lastly, he coughed it out. "We're not accurate on how well these temporary defense bases can protect these cities, especially Heigh." Heigh was Leocardia's 5th largest city, but it is also Leocardia's fiancial capital.

"Send in some MiG-15 drones in. Say about 50 of them. If they can't shoot these guys down, then we might not be able to shut down Terminal 7 for full upgrades."

Nash Air Base

James dozed off into his work. His papers were finished, and he logged back onto his favorite computer game, Counter-Strike. His 2nd Marshall came into his office. "Electricians done. Radar is back up again." He left. Moments later, the siren roared for 5 seconds and loads of personel ran all over checking on radar. Marshall James sprinted out of his office and turned to the nearest radarman. "Stats!" He found the nearest radarman. "We got some fags coming in!"

Looking confused, he asked. "Excuse me?" James Brown had homophobia, and misunderstood that it was a MiG-15's codename, Fagot.

"No jokes. We have 50 of them coming in."

James giggled a little. "Then lock up the doors."

"Locking the Doors defensive tactic initiated."

James didn't know what kinds of tactics his dad had planned before leaving him with this job. His quote he left with James ringed into his head once again. It was bullshit to him, situations like this would never happen, and it happened to him. He went back inside his office and played more Counter-Strike, hoping that it will relieve him for a couple more rounds....
