Hello and welcome to this broadcast of Meet the World with Jason Hill. We have a very special guest with us today, His Royal Highness Prince Thomas of the VDB. Your Highness, would you mind telling us a bit about yourself?

"Hello Jason, and I'm pleased to be here. Well, I'm working on a fiction book, Fresh Moon, when I'm not frettering over the world's affairs with my cousins. Oh, and do you know anybody else who has a Toyota Prius, a Bugatti Veyron, and a jetski, all at the same time?"

"Can't say I do. Would you mind telling us a bit about your system of government, I hear it's quite unique. We'd also like to know about the book you're working on."

"Oh, well the book I'm working on is about vampires. It's for teens, and involves a lot of swordfighting and such."
"Well, government is operated by four people. One of them is me. Then's there's my brothers, who are also Princes. Then, it's passed down by the Divine Right of Kings. So, my brother Ryan will pass it on to my nephew, Ryan. Unless my nephew dies. And, for some reason, the nation of Londim has the same ruling. I wish I had a family tree to show you, it would make it a lot easier."

"Well, I don't want to say a lot. But it involves falling in love and rivalvies-very complicated."

"Sounds like a good read. Your Highness, most people in Central Prestonia aren't familiar with the culture of the VDB. Would you mind giving us a brief history and culture lesson?"

"Well, Jason, the VDB were formed out of another country because of the mistreatment of It's people. I'm not at liberty to say which country that was, however. We have been in a couple of wars lately, and are trying to make a name for ourselves in international politics, but otherwise we've had a quite history.
"Cultureswise, we're very patriotic, and we like our cars. Most of us are Christians, including me, but we're just like the fabled nation of Great Britain without the accents. At least, that's what we try to be. On January 10, we have our VDB Day, when we officially became independent. And, on November 22, we have our Remembrance Day for all of our soldiers. It's tradition on that day to pin poppies on our shirts. The government always plans special occasions, like the Granderville parade on VDB Day, where we march along all of the major routes. Granderville is our capital and our biggest city."

"Sounds like a cool nation if I do say so myself. Is there anything else you'd like to add before we close this interview?"

"Well, I'd just like to say hi to my wife Sheryl, my girl Samantha, and my boy Ryan Jr., who's in the United Kingdom2 at the moment with Queen Hannah's coronation there. And hi to all the folks watching, especially the crew here in PBG, and you, Jason. Good night everyone!"
Thanks CP.
