Kampfers

And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
Fuhrer Richtoff looked down from the elevated podium with open eyes, his kind gaze glancing over his citizens. He shook his head, images of war sweeping through his mind. He shook off the feeling. That was why he was here today, after all. Slowly, in a kind, gentle tone, he began to speak.
"Citizens of Kampfers. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Kampfers. Just as the LORD delivered the Hebrews, so he will deliver us. Today, we stand among brave men, proud men, who would have defended you to the last. However, it has become obvious that no matter how long they stand, others will always seek to destroy us. Twice now has the Corporate Alliance come crashing down upon us. Twice have we repelled them from our waters. No more shall we stand for this.
This day, we move our great nation to new lands. We move to the uncharted wilderness in Haven. No nation inhabits that land currently, but soon, we shall. No longer shall Corporate agressors be able to reach our homelands. We shall take shelter in Haven, and hope that the nations there treat us as kindly as our allies, and not take a stance towards us rivaling that of the Corporatists.
Those who wish to stay behind may. You will remain here, in what will become known as Nova Kampfers. However, all are encouraged to join us in our move. Every Kampferian ship and plane possible has been chartered for the week. We will be taking everything with us. The ships will be escorted by one of our fleets, so fear not sending your valuables on them.
Just as the LORD brought the Hebrews into their promised land, so will he do with us. We only pray that our reception there is better than that the Hebrews recieved. But if it is not, Kampfers will perserve as always. We will press foward in our daily lives, and press foward as a nation, and one day, be remembered throughout eternity."
All across the nation, people saw this message. They began to pack everything, from the antique lamp that was a family heirloom, to their bare essentials of clothing, food, and water. Building materials were packed in large numbers, and buildings were stripped down to their bare essentials. Kampfers was going to move.
OOC: For clarification, this takes place after the Undershi naval skirmish.
