The King had been watching the news lately. He did not enjoy watching the reports of fires in other countries and the reports of people getting murdered in their sleep, but there was this surreal feeling that kept him glued to the TV. This and his love of commercials. Between Nathan Explosion supporting another Doomani product or some foreign movie, he regularly saw some ad for weapons. It was usually poorly made and crappy. The King did not like this at all. He vowed to get to the bottom of this, just as soon as his shows were over. Then he’d go and figure this all out.
The King did some research on this Nation and its Weapons. He found out that they had recently backed out of a War because of the threat of being invaded. The King laughed silently to himself. They were Cowards as well as bad marketers. The King rubbed his hands with glee at the thought of making their worst nightmare come true. Oh he would do it too, just as soon as his new favorite show was over. Then he’d make the necessary preparations.

The Ministry of Defense was most helpful, because they too enjoyed the King’s Favorite show as much as he did. They were in such goods moods that they also wanted to assist the King in his endeavor to destroy this cowardly and poor Nation or Corporation. Whatever it was, the King wanted it destroyed and all trace of it wiped off the face of the earth. Still there was one obstacle in his way of total and utter annihilation of the foolish nation, the Reichstag.
The Reichstag, the Nations Parliament, was filled with some of the most politically sound minds in the entire known world. It was also filled with some of the craziest in the known world as well. Granate was known for its extremes and its legislature was one of them. The King did have certain rights that the Reichstag could not take away under any circumstances, but his right to declare war was not one of them. In truth he could send the Military anywhere he pleased, but the problem was that without the Reichstag’s approval he could only send a fraction of the entire Military. This was the tricky part. He needed to garner at least 50% of the Reichstag’s support before he could send the entire military. Luckily for the King he had quite a few supporters in the Reichstag this year.
After pulling a few favors from among his supporters in the Reichstag, the King went before the entire Reichstag and spoke to them in a passionate speech that would make Martin Luther King or Franklin D. Roosevelt jealous. After his speech was over, there was much clapping for him by the entire Reichstag, nearly everyone was clapping. He spotted a few dissenters, but didn’t care. He knew he had won the day. Soon the military would be marshalling and a country would be dying, but first he had a message to write.

After watching one of your Companies failures that you call ads, we decided to do a little information digging and we’ve found quite list of stuff that just shocks and makes us nauseous We’re not going to list those things here, because we’re lazy and we don’t have time to write them all down. So here’s the deal, you surrender now and we won’t destroy your country in very nasty ways.

After he had sent the message, The King did not waste any time in preparing his invasion force. Yes, he called it his invasion force, like it was some personal crusade to rid the world of something horribly wrong. It’s probably better that no one stood up to him on that one, it wouldn’t have been pretty. Anyway, the King made certain arrangements. He wanted not only a very large force, but he also wanted it to include the best of Granatian Military. No one knew why, only the King did. And only the King slept well that night in the Government.
