Anyone watched mad max? That's basically the idea for this RP.
2027- a gargantuan asteroid collides with earth, specifically in the mid Pacific region. Most of humanity is wiped out in the epic tidal waves, tsunamis earthquakes and volcanic eruptions that follow. Essentially, the planet almost destroys itself.
The impact shifts the Earth's axis, forcing it closer to the sun. the planet is transformed into an arid dust bowl.
2035- The ragtag remains of humanity form groups to stay alive. many turn on each other. Bullets and vehicles are the law of the land.
