The VDB would like to have an embassy and consulate exchange, as well as a signing of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), starting hopefully great diplomatic relations.

We will accept an embassy exchange, but we will not sign a Free Trade Agreement as of yet. How is this FTA supposed to benefit the ISA in any way, shape or form?

The Free Trade Agreement is meant to boost trade. What about a consulate exchange?

We will be able to exchange a consulate in Madison. But back to the point. What resources do you have to trade with us that we don't have already? All this FTA would do to us is hurt our economy since we are not getting a many items from you as you would get from us.

Arizona's specialty is aerospace. and electronics. And you might get more products from us, at least the way Michigan is going.

Aerospace is unimportant to us at the current as we have a full air force with no plans to expand any time soon. The ISA has quite a few electronics manufacturing corporations and therefore is able to sustain itself. Detroit is doing its job fine now with the Factories there at a more liesurely capacity due to the fact that we only need to supply our nation. An FTA is out of the question right now, and we will stand by our decision unless some unknown circumstance should pop up.
