The USA is gone; every state is now up for grabs. I made that Divided USA thread a few months ago, and here is the new version, the 2.0 if you will say. It is not PMT or PT, the time period is MT.

Realism:
Divided USA 2.0 strives for realism. We will use population and economic statistics as close to 2007 as we can get (try to go to Wikipedia or a US government website). These facts can be found very easily. I will use the suspension of disbelief system used in ES; a fantasy race is fine but it has to be a minority in the nation. I will not let the 2012-2020 PMT that is used in the other Earths, the time starts in August 2007, and that is where it will be until we progress to the 2012-2020 time.


Time:
One RL day is one DU month.



NS in DUS:
In DUS, your nation can be whatever. If you want it to be the same politically as your nation, you can do that. If you want it the same politically as the state, you can do that. It is all up to you. The thing you must do, is keep your nation the same name, as it makes everything easier.


Military:
For military, you get all US military bases in the state/s you get; you need to RP any new bases that will be built. Also, you will decide the mount of people in your military. However, the whole adage about military/economy will be followed here. If you have a large percent of active troops in your military, the economy will suffer.


Point System:
Due to the success of the point system in ES and AWOP, I am doing the point system for each state. If you want a part of a state, tell me so I can guesstimate its rough value. If there are more people that want are than states, I might think about giving up Canada or Mexico (I don’t know if it will be in the form of the states or province or just the actual nation).

0-100 posts= 1 point
101-200 posts= 2 points
201-300 posts= 3 points
301-400 posts= 4 points
401-500 posts= 5 points
501-600 posts= 6 points
601-700 posts= 7 points
701-800 posts= 8 points
801-900 posts= 9 points
901-1000 posts= 10 points
1001-1100 posts= 11 points
1101-1250 posts= 12 points
1251-1500 posts= 13 points
1501-2000 posts= 14 points
+2000 posts= 15 points

Cheers. I'll make a factbook now. One question - geographical, just to make everything easier, is it the same as the US today. Eg. New York is still there, but can have a name change and doesn't have to be exactly the same in buildings, but is still a massive city, and Nevada still has desert etc. otherwise people will be able to edit out all the undesirable geographical areas or cities and replace them with something better.

GDP, population, cities, and area are constant. you get whatever military bases are in the state, but the amount of troops are up to you.

But on another note, Nevada and Utah will not be easy to take on your own. Nevada has quite a few important bases in it such as Edwards AFB and Utah is very mountainous and will be able to put up a good resistance (If the person playing them knows what they're doing). So be careful.

I'll handle Nevada...but keep in mind, Nevada probaly has the best Air Force of any of the states (Nellis AFB is stocked, and it's only one of the bases...)

Actually I looked it up, Nevada only has Nellis, I have Davis-Monthan and Luke. I think I'm ready to attack-just steadying my nerves. This is the second time I've ever attacked in an NS Earth. (1st was Suspension of Disbelief where they let me off without attacking right before it died)

Nevada has probally the top US Airforces bases over there. They can wipe out your missile silos and they too have nukes to fire back at you.

But nuclear war pretty much is the end of it. Also, they don't have an army, just the air force. Bumbumbumbummmmm!!!! I'm going up against AB, good luck to me. and my other option is Utah which has a bunch of caves. I know just what to do, but I might need Nevada to do it.

I think they have a few National Guard Regiments based there, probally their airforce will wipe out your Ground forces, with B-2s and B-54s before they even can reach Las Vegas for a $0.99 all u can eat buffet... LoL :D

but i have a sizable air force of my own, plus I just can make more planes, Arizona has the biggest aerospace industry of any other state.

Texa would own any state on land and just about any state in the air.

I know, I <3 Virginia even though I have lived in Nebraska all my life lol.

BTW -

To whoever is playing Nebraska - You have the largest Civilian Airfield in the World, one that is outfitted with National Air Guard Jets, and in a moment's notice may be converted to full Military Usage. It is located just West of Lincoln, in the Airpark Suburb.

Also, you have OFFUT Airbase, the ONLY stop the President and Executive Staff make on their way to Cheyenne Mountain Complex. This means PLENTY of Military Jets stationed there as well, and fuel too.

Not only that, but you have one of the world's largest Pork/Bacon Sectors [Laugh at it, but it makes a difference in this situation] as well as Beef Sectors. Oh, and you have the World's largest Water reservoir [Try Western Nebraska, it also goes into Wyoming a bit.]

Nebraska, on a side note, has just a relatively good economy. I'm sure with Colorado's Economy, and the Military tech and Nukes stored in the Mountains you will fair well. Oh, that reminds me, you have one of the United State's largest Underground Bunkers...under Airpark...nukes nukes nukes, yay!

Oh, and fair warning, keep a strict guard up in Omaha. Council Bluffs, IA, serves as a Suburb to it, and you have vital bridges to protect. Also, plenty of smaller bridges throughout your border with them. Otherwise, you are relatively safe..and keep cool, you don't have a lot of hills to dig into :P.

You determine the military size, the bases are there you can build more if you want a large military but you have to make that in an IC post.

That's because A. you spelled Coubornne wrong. I knew that. You also spelled Maladorians wrong, it's Maldorians. And Pyschotika was probably spelled wrong too, mainly because that's a really hard name.
