"Thanks for allowing us to host this show in your palace, it's a very nice place indeed.
But let's get down to bussiness, shall we?
Okay, first question of the day, this was submitted by one of our readers in..."
*Charmichael reads the card*
"Naasha and it says the following 'How do you feel about the CA-NPE War?'"

Baker considered the question for a moment then replied, "I feel good about it. My allies are performing splendidly, the CA is taking catastrophic loses while we sustain relatively minor ones, and there does not appear to be any sign of changing at the present. Things are going well indeed." He sat back in his chair and steepled his hands in front of his chest. A look of confidence etched in his face, he stared back at the reporter from his allied neighbor.

"Excellent, it's nice to see you are so optimistic about the outcome of the war, but, would you be able to tell us why it took so long for Wanderjar to react and mobilize?
I was informed that this caused of the less... what's the word... reliable members of the NPE to leave or bail out, or just surrender to the CA in one case"
Wanderjar

"We didn't take so long to react really, we were a driving force behind the annihilation of the Toopoxian and VISA corporation's defeat in the opening days of the war. However due to recent events, we decided to abandon that campaign and pull back into a more defensive strategy for the time being. As for the less reliable members, their cowardices are noted and will be remembered. As the Wanderjarian Wehrmacht mobilises to counter and defeat the Pudite Armada, we're also preparing to extend our forces else where after the conclusion of this conflict. Soon, hopefully, when the time is right, the Corporatists shall get what has been coming to them for a good time."

"I understand, and I'm sure that cleared many doubts or viewers around the globe had.
Now may I ask you what is the overall Wanderjarian strategy for the war?"

"The predominate strategy for our conflict is to sit back and let them waste men, material, and resources coming to get us. We can hold them off forever really, but they'll quickly lose interest of us after we've killed a few million of their nations sons. Afterwards, who knows? Its open for speculation really, and I'll admit its something that the OberkommandWehrmacht (OKW), as well as the entirity of the NPE's leadership have been discussing adnauseum. We've yet to make deffinate decisions on it yet, as we're focusing predominately, and with good reason, on the now."

"That sounds like a good strategy, though, many would expect you take the fight back to them, what do you have to say about that?"

"Oh rest assured we shall. We are merely waiting for the right....opportunity."

"Great, it's good to know this.
May I ask you what's your opinion about the reported Pudite fleet nearing your national waters?"
Wanderjar
06-08-2007, 03:26
"This Armada which sails against us carries a banner of evil, oppression, and corruption, the ideals which the Wanderjarian people stand firmly against. We shall resist them with every fiber of our being, with ever beat of our hearts, with every gun, every bullet, everything we have. They sail into certain death, and into a nation of men and woman who will do anything to kill each and every one of them. Yes, I believe these Pudites are in for a short campaign in Nova Europa."

"It's good to hear that, most people think the Pudites wont make it to the coast, and there's an 'intervention' in the talks.
Anyways, what can you tell me about the attack on the NPE Headquarters? Do you think this will demoralize the Prussians?"

"As for the Pudites, I doubt they'll lay one foot on Prussian shores, unless they're in chains as prisoners of war. And for the attack on our headquarters: why would it? The attack has been a dismal failure. Thus far, Wanderjarian aircraft have killed dozens of Corporatist aircraft, and many more are soon to follow. The enemy ships which are off the coast shall be engaged soon by ships which were contributed to the Commonwealth Fleet, as well as a fleet sent by Shakal, and it appears soon as though the remaining enemy aircraft will be destroyed. If anything, it will make the enemy appear weaker, as though they cannot even succeed in a surprise attack!"

"Well, let's hope you are right on this one.
Now, we have just been informed that the UFAN has joined your side on the war, do you have any comments relating to that?"

"Well, let's hope you are right on this one.
Now, we have just been informed that the UFAN has joined your side on the war, do you have any comments relating to that?"
"Yes. I am very pleased to hear this, as many of the UFAN leadership are allied to us, and them bringing in their other membership is a deffinate plus to our war effort. We are very close to victory, I can taste it! But every additional nation which involves itself can make our victory come that much sooner, that much easier."
*A General walks into the room and leans down beside Baker and whispers something into his ear...Baker smiles confidently and again steeples his hands returning a stare back to the reporter*
"Excellent, thank you Feldmarschall. Excellent news, apparantly we have destroyed the first wave of the attack on our Head Quarters Island in the New Prussian Empire sector. While the enemy's Naval Task Force is being dealt with by naval forces from Shakal and Die Zweiten Reich, the Wanderjarian Garrison force there should continue to hold up stoically against all comers. I believe we've regrettably lost some thirty or forty fighters to this, perhaps more, and there has been a minimal amount of infrastructural damage, likely a few office buildings destroyed however once it was known enemy forces were coming all people were evacuated. It is doubtful there was any life lost out of the workers there, or the OberKommando Wehrmacht (Armed Forces High Command) Commanders."
"But again back to the UFAN. I myself am an associate state of the UFAN, I've just never asked for full membership, although I have been told by the Wagdogian Government that I need only ask. That is quite irrelevant really, but the point is that the New Prussian Empire and the UFAN are quite close. I expected that they would ultimately officially become involved, and I'm quite pleased that they have decided to. Hopefully this will make our operations go much more smoothly."

"That's good to hear, it'll certainly mean the CA has tough times coming ahead of them.
Well, time is running out, so one last question, okay?
Good, being Wanderjar a GUSN member, why hasnt it seen fit to call the GUSN in it's defense?"
