"This program is being also broadcasted on almost every channel in Tartarystan, Lakedaimon, and many other channels across the world."
A picture of the well-known flag of Tartarystan was hung near a flag that appeared to be a jet-black Lambda emblazoned a scarlet background. The flag of Lakedaimon.
"We come here today to witness what could be a historic reconcilliation between Tartarystan and Lakedaimon..."
It was unsurprising the two countries never got along. They bordered each one. One was Altaic (mostly Turkic), the other was Greek-speaking. Tartarystan was fanatically Christian by Lakedaimon was fanatically...pagan. After all, the Lakedaims viewed themselves as the "successors" of Sparta, even though...they didn't have much to do with Sparta, they emulated them regardless...kinda. In contrast, Tartarystan was more pacifist. Even though Tartarystan had a far larger population, they had a far smaller army. The population of Lakedaimon was only between a third or a fourth of Tartarystan but their army was considerably larger than the army of Tartarystan, perhaps close to twice as large. This made the Tartars wary of their hated opponent, but Tartarystan's industrial, commercial, and economic power made the Lakedaims very wary as well.
The screen shifted to a party of men walking toward a building. There were dozens of them, and it was obvious who they were. It was the Gerousia, twenty-eight members of the Council of Elders as well as the two kings of Lakedaimon, King Cleomenes I and King Anaxandridas II. One of the Kings appeared older, one appeared younger, the Council of Elders were unsurprisingly elderly. But despite that, they still appeared fit, buff, and with a fire in them. They also had with them around three dozen guards.
"The Lakedaimon delegation has arrived, moving on, we can see the Tartar delegation already arriving."
The Tartar delegation looked nothing like them. Several women and men, probably more women than men, were shown on the screen. There was the famed Imperial Chancellor Tulisen Cirgote in her instantly recognizable chancellor robes walking confidently accompanied by several individuals. There also appeared to be another individual that seemed unfamiliar. It appeared to be a young dashing women in a outlandish red fur coat complete with gold laces, green gloves, and an equally extraordinary red hat. She appeared to be somewhat slim and of above-average height, and she clearly stock out of the crowd. The reporter was somewhat confused until he realized who it was. She had bubbly eyes, obscenely long eyelashes, a rather pale complexion, and bright blond hair that went down to just above her shoulders.
"And...here we have the Imperial Chancellor, and our ever reclusive Empre- I mean Emperor Sereri IX..."
Yes, it did make sense. Supposedly, the "Emperor" was claimed by the National Assembly as Tartarystan's first male monarch, but nobody in the country believed it. Most believed it was just a ploy to placate gender rights activists in Tartarystan, and for good reason. It was a commmon and humorous political anecdote how that the National Assembly would deem what was so obviously a woman as the first male monarch. And another thing was that Sibeoci was a female name! It was almost humorous! In official documents, she was referred to as the Emperor, but everyone called her the Empress outside of them.
"Tartarystan and Lakedaimon are making their first diplomatic meeting in decades. As quoted, both sides were quite interested in ending the feud that these two nations have. Politicians from both countries have been called for reconciliation, resumption of diplomatic recognition, and the bloom of trade. The two Kings, Cleomenes I and Anazandridas II have been pushing for it in their country for months."

The commenter talked in a monotone voice, also bored out of his mind. There had been an hour of useless bantering as both sides expressed their willingness to bury the hatchet. Everyone knew what was going to happen...or what they thought was going to happen. The Imperial Chancellor had been doing most of the talking, while the two Kings and the elders they brought with them often replied with her. However, the two nations still distrusted each other. Each side had three dozen fully armed guards with them. Both sides had been as paranoid as to both erect machine guns on both sides of the rooms facing the negotiators. Still, nobody expected anything to happen. It was over in a minute.
It started with a shriek. It was a blood-piercing shriek that sounded like a woman was being torn to shreds by a gauntlet of torture machines. Someone panicked. Namely, a guard. Pvt. Magiya was enormously trigger happy. He let off a burst without even thinking. It struck the man on the Lakedaim machine gun, tearing bullet holes in his skull and sending blood erupting toward the feeling. They realized the Emperor was where the shriek originated from and had just collapsed on the ground just after the Lakedaim man died. The entire Tartar guard panicked and opened fire. Grenades were sent lobbing at the guard shattering huge holes in their ranks. Automatic assault cut them down before they could even aim their rifles. Machine gun fire just took down anything standing. The younger Laikdaim kings took dozens of bullets and collapsed in a bloody heap on the ground. The older King collapsed with just one word after being shot in the torso with half a dozen bullets.
"...murderers..."
In a few seconds, the entire Laikdaim delegation was dead. The commenter was watching this on video and turned white in disbelief on live T.V. with the rest of the country and probably the stations of many other countries. Laikdaim, Tartar, and many other citizens from other countries turned on their televisions to see the Laikdam Kings and their entire Council of Elders killed along with scores of guards. The only one who appeared unphased the Imperial Chancellor, who despite splattered in blood from the two Kings, still appeared normal. No one knew what the fate of the Emperor was...she had collapsed earlier and nobody saw what caused it.
"Thi-thi-just-in...massacre...at...the...summit...we'll...be...right on it."
*technical difficulties*
OOC: This has been just broadcasted inadvertently on almost major channel in Tartarystan and Laikdaimon (NPC nation), so I'd expect there to be an international response or at least a few nations keeping a tab on what's going to happen.
