The Far Echo Islands

“The highest court in the Far Echo Islands has found former Arch Military Advisor, Ithan Novak, guilty of one count of treason, one count of corruption, and one count of subversion of the government of the Far Echo Islands. Proven to be working for neighboring nations to involve the nation in war so that neighboring nations may come in during a time of crisis, and destroy our way of life. He has also been found guilty of taking bribes from sources that will not been identified, and this amounts to a serious attempt to undermine the government of these islands.
Mr. Novak will be put to death on this day August 3, 0 a.r. by means of brain stem severing. This execution will, unlike most, be public, and will demonstrate a very humane way of taking a human life, if one truly does exist.” The Supreme court judge finished.
*There was a chair, many expected to see death by electrocution; this was not the case. About a thousand had come to see the execution of the man who had drafted the declaration that started the ‘One Hour War’ between the Far Echo Islands and British Londinium. It was a cool day in New St. Petersburg, in stark contrast to the celebrations that had consumed the streets last nights. First a guard restrained him in the chair, and then an Orthodox Christian church called “Islander Christian Orthodox Church” read the man his last rights. A doctor proceeded to place an IV in the man’s arm, and then he was injected with a chemical compound that rendered him unconscious. A man who was obviously a mercenary of some sort was the one who pressed the button which started and an automated program which extended several small blades that cut into the back of the man’s skull, and proceeded to sever the man’s brain stem, he died instantly. Then the coroner placed the man on a stretcher, and covered him in a black blanket, and placed a tag on his left big toe. An ambulance drove away silently. The man’s organs would be taken, and his body buried at a small ceremony in a few hours.*
“Justice has been served.” The Supreme Court Judge declared.
[ooc: you have a range of things you can do if you want, you can comment on the means of execution, or you can start at the burial service, you can be some one in the crowd, or pretty much what ever you can think of.]
