List of Nuclear States

Cookesland
03-08-2007, 01:48
Open Declaration

The Cookeslandic State Department is creating a list of states that currently have nuclear programs.

We would also like to know what your nation uses its devices for be it for power or weaponry. A brief description of the first successful test date and the current program would also be helpful. If your nation neither uses nuclear power or for weapons, but is nuclear capable feel free to list it here.

and many many many many more...
Akimonad
03-08-2007, 01:51
Akimonad's nuclear program is used for a deterrent force. The first successful test was in 2000.
Calizorinstan
03-08-2007, 01:54
We have nuclear weaponry, we use it for both power and as a deterrent too. Our first successful test was 600 miles off the coast of Calizorinstan, to the north a tad, on a decomissioned battleship, that was already beyond repair, the R.C.S Mira Mesa, it took 2 hits before going under, it was August 17th 2008 the date of the test.
Brydog
03-08-2007, 01:54
We have no nuclear weapons anymore but use nuclear energy. The first test was in 1956, at a weapons range 50mi from Brydog. In 2006, Brydog disarmed it's last nuclear weapon.

nukes don't have i use type-240 blast plasma warhead that has a blast of a nuke but with out radiation and radioactive debris
Kirav
03-08-2007, 01:55
The Kiravian is an openly nuclear state. We will only use them as a last resort Or in response to a nuclear attack on the Empire. We also have a state-of-the-art anti-missile defence system.

Our first nuclear test was conducted in the deserts of AridIral, a nation we conquered. It was unsuccesful, but a successful test was made 2 weeks later.

Oh cool, we gotta get some of those
Vetalia
03-08-2007, 02:00
Vetalia had its first successful test in 1959 and its first nuclear power station became operational in 1962.

Mr. White turned the paper over in hand; "Well, these Cookesland sorts think we'll just divulge every little bit of nuclear information we have, then, eh?"

The aide nodded, looking unsure of what to say,

"Maybe we'll just give them a sample, let them sort it out for themselves?"

The aide nodded again, looking at the document as if it would offer some help.

"Heh, if my Janissaries only had those missiles..."

Another voice inturrupted his though, "Best not let the Emperor hear you talking like that, White,"

The foreign affairs officer looked up; standing there was his counterpart, imaginitavly named Mr. Grey, the officer in charge of personal contact with the outside.

White responded, "Oh, you think the Emperor's worrying about what's going on in a side office of the Foreign Affairs department, while half the blessed Imperial Navy is off to war?"

Grey turned to leave, "Just a thought..."

Mr. White dismissed the aide... Grey's Frumentarii had access to the clearence to requesition an attack...

He threw the document off into the incinerator; there were more important things to be worrying about, as he had said earlier.
Alacea
03-08-2007, 02:03
Alacea has had such a weapons program since the 1970's, but only recently released this information to the public in May.

Nuclear power provides 73% of Alacean power, as it's low-risk, highly effiecent, clean, and cheap, and is 100% privatised.

We appreciate you open-ness, if not shrewd-ness, and we can reveal that we have started nuclear arms development, though we shall not reveal our current state.
Dalnijrus
03-08-2007, 02:04
Dalnijrus has a small stockpile of tactical nuclear weapons, left over from the days of Soviet occupation of the Republic. It has no capability or interest in developing a nuclear programme at this time, but may in the future set aside funds for a nuclear or thermonuclear energy initiative.
United kingdom2
03-08-2007, 02:08
The United Kingdom Two tested and used nuclear weapons during World War Two.

Deterrant/Offensive Weapon. First tested 1989.
Malatose
03-08-2007, 02:12
We have five hundred ICBMs, in service. We also have over five thousand nuclear warheads, of variable yield, in various facilities. We tested our first Nuclear Weapon in 1967.

We also harness Nuclear power to provide energy.

Smyrnag, does have a Secret Nuclear Arsenal(kinda of like Israel),but the amount of nuclear weapons will not be disclosed due to National Security Reasons
West Corinthia
03-08-2007, 02:14
West Corinthia has a significant stockpile of nuclear armaments ranging from low yield tactical nuclear warheads to extremely high yield hydrogen bombs. Though we have never deployed nuclear ordinance against an enemy, our stockpile is not merely a "deterrent." If given just cause, we would have no qualms about using these weapons to subdue an enemy. Again, however, we have never faced an enemy who required that we use nuclear weaponry in order to achieve victory.

All test dates are classified. Atmospheric testing and testing within fallout range of mainland West Corinthia are explicitly forbidden and punishable by execution if committed by an individual or declaration of war if committed by a country.

We hope this information is enough to suffice for your survey.

Disc Golfing
03-08-2007, 02:22
The Enslaved Masses Of Disc Golfing has numerous nuclear power plants to fuel our powerhouse economy. Production of nuclear weapons has slowed to a trickle as other means of more effective weapons for our exploits are being more largely produced (the organ grinder.) Our first nuclear tests were performed in 1982, and tactical nuclear missiles were produced from 1985-1987 in defense to surrounding hostile nations, but the missiles were never used. Almost all of the stockpiled missiles are inoperational. We prefer to keep whatever land and resources we conquer usable, not radioactive.
Bredford
03-08-2007, 02:27
the United Commonwealth of Bredford has three nuclear reactors (for energy proposes) that produce most of the countries energy.

(the only left energy stations are two reserve ones and one for the agricultural areas, who don't require much energy.)

we have tested one small 20 Kiloton bomb so far, in 2007. (the NS date is like modern date right? or i am wrong?) and it succesfuly worked.

we also have a number of small nuclear bombs (1 Kiloton.) that are used to research, but nothing for war.
[NS]Zukariaa
03-08-2007, 02:27
Zukariaa has had a stockpile of roughly 40,000 nuclear devices for awhile now.

i live in Israel, and its not very secret.
Akodai
03-08-2007, 02:32
The Empire of Akodai is nuclear capable. It does not use nor manufacture nuclear weaponry due to its strong shinto traditionalism that frowns upon such damaging effects to the ecosystem such as radiation and fallout. However, it does have a nuclear power plant for the same reason. Akodai became nuclear capable in 1997 and finished construction and activated the power plant in 2001.
Shenyang
03-08-2007, 02:43
Shenyang has had nuclear weapons since 1950, the first successful test of a bomb taking place on December 14th 1949. (Due to a lack of available material we do not consider this the beginning of our nuclear arsenal) The first weapons were delivered in April of 1950.

The first reactor to be constructed in Shenyang was completed and initialized on January 30th, 1948 and was used to breed the material for the first weapon test. More reactors were built, and soon Shenyang was using nuclear power for a substantial portion of its power needs. (1962)

During the reign of the late Empire of Shenyang many of these plants fell into disrepair, but have been contained, updated, or deactivated under the laws of the Covenant Nation of Shenyang. (as of 1976, the end of the Imperial Era and the end of the Shenyangi Revolution) We now maintain reactors that are considered to be on the cutting edge of technology, and are researching such technologies as fusion to replace fission reactors.

Our nuclear arsenal is modest compared to many of our contemporaries, but we do maintain enough weapons to eliminate all life on this planet several times over. (which given that my nation is the size (population-wise) of the RL Earth means... well, you get the idea)

All testing of weapons is tightly controlled, and is at this time, essentially banned. The only weapons that are tested are the newest types. Weapons based on existing systems are not tested with warheads due to the traumatic effects it has had on the nation's environment and its population. Aquatic tests are strictly banned, as are space based tests. Atmospheric testing is tightly controlled, and barely ever occurs.

Hope that covers it.
The Far Echo Islands
03-08-2007, 02:43
While there have been nuclear missiles in the Far Echo Islands since the 1960's, but they were produced by the former empire that had ruled them. The nation produced and successfully tested its own in 1997 and has been slowly but steadily producing them since, but the only one tested was the '97 test. The total number is classified.

Nuclear power is a minor power producer in the Far Echo Islands, but only about 2%, the rest is provied by even greener methods with no waste, such as tidal, solar and wind. Nuclear force has never been used in anger, but the country claims the nukes are only defensive.

The Tocrowkian Reich has been a nuclear power since August 29th, 1964. The nuclear device, code-named "Saving Grace" exploded with a force of 29,000 kilotons. We currently maintain a large (In the hundreds of thousands) and advanced arsenal and have multiple delivery systems, including land, sea, air and space based.

We also maintain an "Up Yours!" policy in regards to our usage, meaning we will use nuclear weapons as we see fit.

The Federal Republic is featured on NSwiki's List of nations with nuclear capability (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Nations_with_nuclear_capability). Owing to its international commitments under the United Nations Fossil Fuel Reduction Act, it maintains a substantial nuclear energy program, and retains a deterrent nuclear arsenal. Its first successful nuclear test was completed on March 30, 1940, under the auspices of the "Screw You, Hirota!" Project, a title that honestly seemed funny at the time.

The Dictorial Republic of Sumer has been a nuclear state since the early half of 1938, when the first test of a weapon took place. Since then clean nuclear energy has taken hold as the nation's primary power source, and weapons development has continued on a steady pace to meet the needs of national security.
Jeuna

Steel and Fire
03-08-2007, 04:19
Steel and Fire uses nuclear energy and additionally maintains a ridiculously excessive stockpile of nuclear weapons for offensive and defensive capabilities.* Nuclear weaponry has been part of the Steelian arsenal since 1369 (578 in the old calendar), or about six decades ago.

* The exact numbers are classified, but Strategic Command officials assure you that "ridiculously excessive" is an inadequate term.

NeoAztec
03-08-2007, 04:38
NeoAztec is mainly using nuclear power, but also has weapon capabilities (to an extent), roughly mid 60's nuke tech.
The Warmaster
03-08-2007, 04:39
The Kregaian Imperium uses almost exclusively nuclear power for energy, and uses nuclear weapons as a defensive deterrent, rarely if ever using them except as escalation if an enemy struck first. We have a large stockpile of missiles, including ICBMs and submarine- and satellite-launched missiles. Our first nuclear test was in 1938.

Undershi
03-08-2007, 05:20
The Undershi Empire maintains sizeable stockpiles of nuclear weapons, consisting of tactical and strategic bombs carried by aircraft, as well as ICBMs and tactical nuke equipped short range missiles.
Jarridia
03-08-2007, 05:39
Jarridia first tested the uses of nuclear power in 1950, and it quickly became popular, and besides solar and wind power, it is one of the chief energy sources for our nation today. Eight years later in 1958 we successfully tested our first nuclear weapon in a remote desert in the western part of Jarridia (we still sell the glass today). After that, Jarridia continued to build nuclear weapons and has a very extensive program.
Alfegos
03-08-2007, 10:20
Alfegos uses nuclear power, to provide 35% of energy needs, and has also a large arsenal of nuclear weapons, since the 1954 civil war.
Terran Tribes
03-08-2007, 18:00
The Foundation of Terran Tribes began its nuclear program in early 1987. Since that time the FTT has constructed 4 reactors to meet the energy needs of the nation while another 2 reactors are used for uranium enrichment as well as limited power generation. The Foundation is capable of producing up to 10 nuclear warheads a year of 30 kiloton range. The exact number of warheads stockpiled is not publicaly known. The nation's nuclear programs also contribute to research.
Red Tide2
03-08-2007, 18:11
Official Statement from TSRT Government
"The Totalitarian State has been a nuclear power since the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s. The stockpile consists of 400,000-500,000 deployed and stored nuclear weapons. Ranging from .01 kiloton mortars to 100 megaton 'dirty' bombs. Exact numbers are classified.

Red Tide also utilises nuclear power stations which make up about 19% of its power generation."
End Message
Vestern States
03-08-2007, 18:21
The Grand Empire of Vestern States maintain a nuclear strike capability of some 5000 warheads, ranging from small tactical warheads on some 0.8 kt, to strategic warheads on the 50-60mt scale.
Documentation regarding the numbers on warhead disposition is currently a military secret.

Most of the navy is nuclear powered

On the civilian side, nuclear power makes up for some 50-55% of the total national energy consumption.

To sum it up: Vestern States relies heavily on nuclear power. Also, the nation is conducting extensive research on nuclear power and energy.
Celtayoshi
03-08-2007, 18:28
Official Government Release

This release is in response to calls for a comprehensive list of nuclear states:

"The Allied States of Celtayoshi has been a nuclear power for well over 40 years, conducting its first successful test in 1962. We reached our peak stockpile figures in 1985 and have since halved that number. The government of Celtayoshi will not disclose any actual figures, except to say that our nuclear capacity is considerable. We actively continue to develop more modern nuclear technologies and are constantly replacing our arsenal.
The Allied States of Celtayoshi also maintains a number (30+) of civilian nuclear facilities for generating power. The majority of these are partial underground reactor facilities with waste disposal facilities on site. No nuclear stations are located within city limits.
Further information can be obtained on request, however, the government will not release any details which are protected by the Security of the State Act.
Greal
03-08-2007, 23:03
Greal is a nuclear power, and we first tested nukes in 1960, we currently have 10,000-40,000 warheads.
Mathism
03-08-2007, 23:27
Mathism uses nuclear energy for energy and defense. Also, the nation is conducting extensive research on nuclear power and energy. The exact amount of warheads is a secret.
