Admiral Antonius Darkdagger sailed smoothly into the territorial waters of the New Prussian Empire with only one thing on his mind, revenge. These Prussians believed that they could honestly launch an attack on a Corporate Alliance nation, and get away with it. Not only that, but they had also captured the Griffincrest First Fleet, and its admiral, Antonius’ former mentor, Lucius Ironclaw. From the bridge of his flagship, -, he looked out over the three Griffincrest fleets around him. The third, fourth, and eighth fleets were assembled. Of course, this meant that other Griffincrest assets around the world were sorely lacking, but Claudius Griffincrest had ordered this to be done, as he had seen the Prussians to be no more than a band of rebellious little men who wanted to make a name for themselves. Well, a name they had made, but how long they would be around to bask in their glory, well that was something else. With the three great admirals of the Corporation currently occupied elsewhere, Admiral Fireblade off fighting Tocrowkians, Redhammer assisting his CA brothers in Yeltsmin, and Ironclaw currently sitting in a Wagdian prison, Darkdagger was chosen to lead this assault. It was his first time in the role of a campaign commander, and he knew that what he did here would make or break him. The responsibility of this role was enormous. He had nearly a million men under him, all of whom would look to him for their orders and advice. He said a quick prayer, and than tapped the microphone, sending out his order to every vessel in his fleet.

“Let them have it men. Launch your missiles”

With that order, over a thousand Khan missiles, all graciously donated from around the globe to further the CA cause during the Gallian conflict, were loosed from their silos, built into the modified Kraken and Homeland class vessels. The screeching of the massive missile salvo was deafening as the storm took to the sky. The missiles were bound for the nation known as the Grosse Reich, a tiny island nation in the South East of the NPE. The nation would serve as the jumping off point for the rest of the invasion, and soon the Prussians would know the power of the Corporate Alliance.

I got the crowd yellin

Aye, all my hot girls yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
Aye, all the Dope Boyz yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
Aye, from the back they yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out

The Khan missiles were all targeted to ensure that the poor nation had no way of defending itself on its own. All the naval bases in the country were targeted by this storm, and the poor ships sitting in the port would likely have no idea what was coming for them as the missiles screamed at Mach 11 for them. The Khans, however, were not the only thing to go to the Reich. Over four hundred F-14 Tomcats blasted from their carriers throughout the fleet and they too headed for the Grosse Reich, their mission to make sure the Reich’s air forces never get into the fray. As this was all going down, Antonius decided to send the leader of the nation a chance to surrender honorably and ensure that no more citizens of the Reich need to die pointlessly. Hopefully, the leader would agree, but if he did not, it was of little matter, the nation would be seized shortly.

Mic check 1-2 1-2, you wanna beef wit the king what is you gon do
Will you show up on the scene wit 2 guns drew
Or you and ya friend and play a little two on two
If you knew half of what I knew then you'll be hittin the deck
Got a tool and a vest I can get some respect
I'ma make it hard for a sucka nigga to flex
Sho 'em this ain't the squad for a nigga to test
Pimp my nutz too large and we way too fresh
Work well wit Nines AK's and Techs
And quick to check a lame like a game of chess
You want beef you can bring ya best and we'll be standin..

The Admiral than looked back over the plans that were drawn up between him and the rest of the admirals from the various nations of the Corporate Alliance. Should all go according to plan, the Prussian forces would be so divided that they would have little chance of offering any form of resistance to the numerically and tactically superior CA ships. As Antonius watched the fires of the Khan engines grow smaller and smaller as they neared their poor victims within the Grosse Reich, a smile was beginning to form in the corners of his mouth, and hoped that the rest of his colleagues were having as good a time as he was in their theaters. He then turned away from the window and to a bottle of scotch and a cigar. He poured himself a nice glass, lit up his cigar, and than sat down to watch the rest of the fireworks show.

In ya front yard yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
Aye all my hot girls yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
Aye, all the Dope Boyz yellin
Bring 'em out, bring 'em out
Aye, from the back they yellin

Saint Peter's Mountain Complex
Often times, he would find himself at work one minute and home the next. With his job, it seemed almost unavoidable. After all, Sergeant Goldhorn had been doing this job for nearly two years, and it wasn't a very exciting job at all. Starting at a computer screen for eight hours a day was incredibly boring. Especially when nothing happened. And nothing did happen. Numerous circles of different colors moved around a render of earth, each blinking or flashing and having miniature text. Each represented the numerous orbitals that TPF operated, including both military and commercial orbitals. Goldhorn absentmindedly clicked on some, bringing him to the information screen such, which really was just a whole bunch of numbers, some that sat there and others that changed rapidly and crazily. Yawing, he took a sip from his coffee, a bonus to his job. One hour left. Then he heard a blaring siren in his microphones. "Fuck!" he said loudly. His coffee had just spilled on his legs and shoes, as he had been surprised by the noise. Then he looked at the screen, coffee and burns forgotten. Numerous red missiles were flashing, blinking. He quickly clicked on them, and the orbitals identified them as Khan anti-shipping missiles. There were hundreds of them. Sprinting into action, he began to trace them, but other airmen were ahead of him.

President Booch had been hustled out of his meeting with his economic council, and was now being rushed towards the bunkers built under his residence. He was miffied at having been pulled so suddenly, the Marines bursting in and taking him without an explanation. His entourage had already grown, he reconzied some of his advisor's, as well as more and more military men. Soon, they arrived in the bunker, and went down to the War Room, a room equipped with everything needed to wage a war. Booch saw Molkte, a living legend for TPF and Chairman of the Imperial General Staff, quite possibly the greatest general TPF had ever seen. He could clearly see numerous flashing icons on the LCD and holographic displays, and saw numerous military men rushing back and forth, shouting and passing papers. Finally, Booch sat down, but nobody seemed to be paying attention.
" Can someone please explain to me what is going on?!" Even without cursing, he got the room's attention with his loud voice.
" I apologize sir, but we had to get you down here as quickly as possible. We are at Defcom 2."
" Defcom 2? That means an attack on us or our allies."
" Yes sir. Saint Peter's detected an enemy missile launch just outside of regional waters."
" How many and of what type?"
A holographic screen appeared in front of him, showing the Khans which were now starting to fall back into the atmosphere, on course to the nation of Grosse Reich, a small ally. Booch sagged slightly, it was evident that the missiles were past interception phase and were now going to wreck a terrible toll on the tiny nation.
" Has any other attacks been detected?"
" None yet sir, but we can expect additional attacks at any time. All our forces are on alert."
" Fine. Set up a video conferences with High Command and the Imperial General Staff. We will find a strategy."
" Yes sir."

OOC: Since Gross Reich is inactive, I suppose I'll be commanding his forces. That post will be up later.

Naval Port, Grosse Reich
Dockworker James Macdonald's was drunk. He was laughing and giggling and generally being a arse to whomever had the misfortune of coming across his path. He took another swig from his forty ounce, and laughed in glee as he saw a sailor mopping the deck of a small destroyer. Pointing, he said, barely understandable, "Fuck a goat! Fuck your mother! Ha ha ha." He saw another empty beer bottle, and threw it at the man. The motion made him fall over, and puke as the bottle bounced harmlessly off the ship. His head swimming and eyes watering in pain, James tried to stand up again. As he did, he heard sirens begin to blare incredibly loud. " Stop it!" he moaned, not wanting to hear the noise, qualified by hundreds of times in his drunken state. Crying and yelling his head off like a chicken, he failed to notice the urgent screams as men began to job off of ships, crying and hollering. James saw one sailor hit the hard concrete, cracking his skull open, blood flowing out. Something told James to run, and he began to, but then he heard a loud screeching noise, like the rockets he had seen on TV, and then an explosion. A beautiful explosion. And then, nothing.

Air Base
" Scramble! Scramble!"
" All units, Red Alert, Scramble!"
Men were rushing as fast as they could towards their F-16 fighters. They cleared the way and jumped into their cockpits, quickly going through their pre-flight checklist, all of them sweating and nerves shoot to hell. Their hands shaking, they began to taxi, guided by men on the ground, equally as nervous. The first groups began to take off, forming into squadrons. The enemy was on the way.
" Foxtrot 1, We are airborne."
" Foxtrot 2, We are airborne."
" Foxtrot 3, We are airborne."
" Gold 1, We are airborne."
" Delta 3, We are airborne."
" Roger, stand by, form up, prepare for enemy assault. Radar shows at least 400 enemy fighters incoming, possibly more."
" Roger, AWACS, are we to receive anymore support?"
" Negative, we are to form here, Command informs us that PATRIOT BAT will assist us in defending."
With that, they waited. Forty-eight F-16's, Twelve F-22's, and Twelve F-35's stood ready to intercept the incoming aircraft. The pilots wondered how the other areas were doing. Insignificantly for them, not so good.

OOC: TPF, since I am a member of the NPE, I'll start out by having some of my Jaguars scramble to assist you, maritime attack loaded of course...

San Diego Air Force Base Flight Line...

"Scramble, scramble, warning, enemy aircraft attacking Grosse Reich, a fellow NPE member!" The alert siren sounded, and several pilots scrambled to their SEPECAT Jaguars, and MIG-35OVTA fighter jets, they were going to defend the NPE, even if they died, they would glady do so to defend their allies...

15 minutes later, 30 Jaguars and 25 MIG-35's were in the air headed towards the Grosse Reich, the lead MIG pilot said on the radio to the Gross Reich fighters "We are coming to assist the NPE forces, we have also Jaguar maritime attack aircraft on the way.."

Admiral Darkdagger watched the satelite footage of the Reich's naval forces explode in a brillinat display of Corporate firepower, and the pride of the nation sink solemnly beneath the waves. Even better was the forces that were scrambled against his own, a mere hundred and forty seven planes against his flight of over four hundred. The air battle would be a short one as well, and the air force of Calizornistan would soon learn a lesson about interferring where it did not belong. It would only be a matter of time before the Calizornistanis themselves would feel the weight of the CA boots marching across their land.

Without the Reich's navy to oppose them, the fleets began a full steam towards the nations shores. Thousands of mercenaries tood ready to disembark and claim the first victory of many in what they had been told over and over again would be a brief conflict with a major payout.

In the air, the Tomcat pilots began to laugh amongst themselves as they saw the meager Reich air force begin to move towards them. In seconds, the sky was filled with over six hundred AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles, overkill for the poor pilots of the Reich. And there was still much more for the Calizornistani fighters should they continue their path to certain death.

More MIG-35's scrambled to the air, with at least 250 Eurofighter EF-2000
s taking off and heading towards Grosse Reich, and the 35 MIG-35's that were there, spilt into 2 flights and the lead flight, Ford Flight in tribute to Robin Olds, the leader let off 20 AIM-120's towards the Griffencrest F-14's, awaiting to see if they did some damage, but they knew that they might lose, in fact it was a high probability.

They didn't really worry about death, they fighting for God first, Honor 2nd, and Country and NPE third, they climbed higher, and kept an eye out for the Griffencrest fighters...

Meanwhile the first 50 out of the 250 Eurofighters, with at least 200 more being scrambled, arrived at the battle, and got closer, and they assisted their MIG-35 friends..

The enemy aircraft began launching missiles. Hundreds of them. The pilots knew it was the end of the road. Saying their prayers or goodbyes in their heads, they used the AWACS radar to lock onto the enemy, unleashing every missile they had. Then, the Patriot missile system below also locked on, firing every missile it had. Engines screeching, the planes began to bank steeply, firing off chaff and flares, and trying to jam the enemy targeting systems. It was mostly for naught, as missile slammed into the planes, and they exploded like blooming sunflowers, sending debris and sparks everywhere. Some men were able to eject, only to be injured or killed by the debris flying in the air. Some would make it, but not many at all. Below on the tarmac, a group of Avenger Humvees arrived, and fired Stingers at enemy Tomcats flying low to evade the main missile attack. Air Defense Teams armed with Stingers also arrived, but their contribution was minimal.

The World Soviet Party

Red Army HQ, Red City, The World Soviet Party
August the 2nd, 2007
2211 Hours

The high command of the Red Army had gathered around a single table, along it sides sat the greatest military minds The World Soviet Party had, all together in one room to discuss the recent CA-NPE war, as well as it's global consequences.

Brigadier General Drew Leibowitz spoke first, as Commander in Chief of the Air Force, he was second (or third, if you counted the president) on the line of command, and seeing how General Andrets was busy in Trivalvia, he would lead the meeting.

"Now gentlemen, this is the basic run-down, the CA has started an all out war against the NPE, ran by our allies in Wanderjar, chances are they'll get attacked, but for now, only the 'Grosse Reich' is being targeted.

Thus, I suggest we reinforce the borders, and get ready to intervene at a moment's noticed. Sadly, this might mean we'll have to cancel the exercises with the Aequatians.

As far as the rest of the NPE goes, they have shown hostility to us in the past, and personally, I think we should let them duke it out. Questions?"

Minister Nevskij, for Foreign Affairs, raised his hand and promptly rose to address the group.

"I believe we should show them people at TPF and the rest of the NPE crowd that we are better than them, and are willing to help them. However, our navy is puny and we'll pose no threat to the combined forces of the CA."

General Tim <Last name withheld due to security reasons> aka "Oracle", chief of the special forces, coughed and interrupted the Minister.

"Yes, our navy is puny" This met some menacing looks from the naval officers "But compared to their 'mercenary' infantry, and specially their Air Force, our Army and Air Services are both elite and ready to fight, as well as up to date" he added contemplating the picture of an F-4 Phantom II and a Folland Gnat "And if we manage to take the fight to the ground and skies, we will surely win."

"Still, we would have many casualties" said Nevskij raising his eyebrow.

"Indeed, but we would earn the respect of the international community, as well as that of the NPE... even if we do not need it" he said quickly as to shut up the Minister "Now, Brigadier, what do you say, I can spare a few Commandos, and THEY have been trained by the Hurtians and Wanderjarians as you might now."

"Yes I do, well, send a message to the TPF goverment, tell them we are ready to aid them with a few Spec. Ops, but nothing more for the moment, we'll see how this turns out. Agreed everyone?"

A few "Ayes" were heard across the table, and then it was decided, this was now a Soviet War.

NPE Colony of New Gataway, Port city of Polia

The normal bustle of trade and commerce vehicles was interrupted by the steady flow of troops and military equipment...most of the civilian population had already evacuated further from the coastal areas.

The coastal defenses were being resupplied and submarine and AWACS patrols stepped up along the territorial waters.

At his temporary command center inside the Imperial Complex basement General Vesar sat calmly surrounded by his senior staff looking over OBSAT and other intelligence reports from land based systems.

At the same time the aircraft were underway coastal positions fired off a salvo of 1500 total missiles a mix of TLAM and MIM 72 anti-air missiles.

"General all stations are on standby and awaiting your orders sir."

A young officer saluted as he entered the room immediately snapping to a position of attention off to the side.

"Very well...we must not delay any further...our brethren are being assaulted by the CA scum...scramble 1st,4th and 8th fighter wings...and prepare for a missile barrage."

Vesar's deep burly voice echoed throughout the room..no sooner had he finished his sentence than several operators were contacting several of the military air fields scattered across the colony.

Soon some 850 aircraft an assortment of F-22's F-35's and LU-45's where enroute to secure air superiority over Grosse Reich's lands..200 planes were also equipped with MLAM-2 Air to Surface and Shockhound Anti-Shipping missiles..

Several dozen Tomcats were sent down, but the damage that would be done to the Reich's aircraft would undoubtedly be far worse. After they had deemd that the last of the enemy planes in the area were downed, they returned back to the fleet, part in order to avoid the massive Gataway storm and part to ensure that the fleet was at maximum defense.

The fleet, at the moment, was holding position off the coast. The landing had begun on the island, and already several hundred men and armour assets were on the ground. Missiles and shells poured into the Reich's military positions that were able to pose any form of threat to the landing, and it seems, at least for the moment, that the operation would go as smoothly as Darkdagger had thought.

The massive air armada had streaked over the lands of Gross Reich surprisingly meeting no resistance...

"Delta Leader this is Tango 5 enemy aircraft are bugging out...request orders.."

Captain Talbov radioed back to HQ...the young comms officer back inside the HQ bunker turned to the general.

"Sir reports are enemy aircraft have returned to their fleet...strike teams awaiting further orders."

Vesar was taken back briefly...he had assumed the CA forces would have put up at least some form of resistance...never the less for now they had achieved their goal of securing the airspace over Gross Reich.

"Have the strike craft equipped with shipping missiles fire off at any ships within range without venturing into their air defense grids...maintain the air space over Gross Reich and then return home for refueling and refitting."

"Yes sir." The young comms officer replied back without hesitation turning back to his post and relaying the message to the strike teams

Vesar leaned back in his chair taking a drink from his scotch glass..thoughts of home passed through his head he was only two years shy of retirement...At least this would give him the opportunity to retire with honor having stood toe to toe with a dominate CA force..it would make for interesting dinner stories at the least he thought..

Skies over Gross Reich

"Roger that Delta Leader."

Talbov and the other one hundred ninety nine strike fighters locked their anti-ship missiles on ships forming the outer portions of the Blackhelm fleet and fired off their salvo of anti-shipping missiles while the remainder of the large strike force stayed over land ensuring air superiority was maintained.

New Prussian Empire Waters
The time now had come to act. The Peoples Freedom had had enough of waiting, and now, along with their allies, they would begin to persecute a most deadly war. Even now, the war drums hammered as the mobilization that had been occurring was winding down. The home front prepared itself for a long struggle, while the military prepared to do what it had been trained to do. The elite Officer Corps had been borne for a war such as this, and they were ready to give everything they held dear to the cause. Military planners now saw it fit to move against the attack in Grosse Reich, the three enemy fleets there, if defeated, would spell the end of the Griffincrest naval capacity. A full armada of warships sailed out of their ports and towards the enemy, while Air Force and Marine fighters and bombers moved to their new bases in Gataway. From there, the enemy would be ruthlessly and completly decimated, and then it was just a matter of time before the other CA armies would break. The armada would take a few days to arrive, but the aircraft had already arrived, and would begin to attack the enemy.

In The Air
The flight of 82 Hurricane bombers was just the first wave. They had flown directly from TPFian airbases to the combat zone, while their comrades were busy landing even now in Gatawayian airbases. All of the Hurricanes were loaded with seven Helios anti-shipping missiles, an incredibly large but dangerous missile. The missiles began to target their targets, aiming at the carriers for the priority. Nearly the whole first volley of missile would be aimed solely at the carriers. It would may be considered an overkill, but a lot was at stake. The missiles needed to hit. After acquiring the targets, the missiles dropped from their hard points, activating a rocket engine that would take them up to 20,000 feet, and then their main engine would activate, and they would dive on the enemy target, crashing down at a hypersonic speed, right on the deck armor, then once inside the carrier's superstructure, the warheads would explode, hopefully igniting the carrier's supply of jet fuel and armaments.

Even if the attack did not go as well as hoped, more bombers were coming, and along with them, the armada. The Griffincrest fleets would not live to see the end of the war.

On the ground, Griffincrest forces were beginning to press inland, seizing village after village on their way. With the troops were several hundred mobile Skynet launchers, and they had picked up the TPF and Gatawayan aircraft long before they had gotten into range of the Griffincrest fleet. The launchers waited until the aircraft were roughly two hundred miles away, and then unleashed their devastating salvo as well over a thousand (two SAM's a launcher) missiles screamed into the skies.

The Skynet was no normal missile, and this was going to be Griffincrest's first time actually using the weapon. Deserted Territories had used it, and it was to great effect, but now was time for the Griffin to play with its toys. As the pilots watched the missiles come for them at Mach 11, they would have almost no time to react, and those that were lucky and did manage to hit their counter measures would soon find them useless. The Skynet was no normal missile, which would be thrown off by flares and chaff and the like. The Skynet, once in range, would explode, sending eight hundred tungsten darts wrapped in explosives to cover the sky. With the amount of missiles currently in the sky, it would be nearly impossible to avoid the moving wall of metal that was now inbound on the bombers and fighters.

Back aboard his flagship, Admiral Darkdagger recieved the reports that his men on the ground launched at the aircraft. Just to make sure that the thread in the skies was gone, he ordered 150 of his brand new F-16 Priest carrier based fighters, fresh from the Candrian Empire, along with a wing of an equal number of F-14 Tomcats.

Only seconds after ordering the aircraft up, he was alerted to the presence of a large fleet moving to the scene from ThePeoplesFreedom. He then turned to a nearby officer to ask how many Khan missiles he had left with the fleet. The answer was 2/3 original stock. This was good, very good. Within minutes, another thousand Khan missiles would be speeding for the enemy fleet. They would have little chance of avoiding catastrophe, as the Khan was very, very good at what it does.

" Missile launch, missile launch!"
The warning blared on the Hurricane's HUD and over the radios. As the missiles started incoming, they were recognized as Skynet missiles, with their deadly tungsten dart warheads. Unfortunately the missiles were coming in too fast for the aircraft to dodge, and so the pilots ejected. The next wave would be warned and the next attack would be much more successful.

The Armada
The enemy Khan launch was soon detected. A Thousands Khans began to dive towards the Armada, They responded in kind, the Saviour Strategic Air Defense Cruisers fired their missiles into the skies, as well as missiles from the other ships, literally thousands such missiles flying at the khans, as they came closer, CIWS and guns fired, destroying even more, but in the end two carriers sunk, as well as one of the Freedom Command Battleships, light carriers, destroyers, and even a few frigates, and finally a number of Valiant and Ajax battleships went to the ocean floor.
" Let's give them a taste of their own medicine."
Now, 1,000 Khans from silos in TPF launched, aiming for the enemy fleet.

In The Air
Now, the second wave launched. This one was much, much larger, and had a different agenda. Four Hundred Black Widow Stealth Bombers all flew in formation, covered by more than three hundred Star of Fate fighters. They would close in to around 1,000km of the enemy fleet, where they would unleash their missiles, similar to the ones the hurricanes launched.

By now, the Spec. Ops. sent by the Soviet goverment had arrived to TPF, although it was only a 12 man squad, each one of it's members was a perfectly trained killing machine, expert in the use of all known weapons and vehicles.

Their mission was to infiltrate Barokin and cause as much mayhem as possible, all they needed was a map, some intel and a transport.

The Khan launch was detected immediatly, and countermeasures were quick to go into effect. Thousands upon thousands of Skynet missiles filled the air as millions of tungsten darts blotted out the sun en route to intercept the oncoming enemy missiles. Still, despite the tremendous number of explosive darts in the sky, several of the missiles managed to break through and battered the fleet. Four Homeland class battleships were destroyed outright, withmany more damaged, and a number of Chieftain class pocket battleships were lost as well. A carrier, the GNS Crusader's Glory was heavily impacted and began to list to its port side, several of the aircraft and crew on its deck spilling off into the ocean. Destroyers and frigates lay ablaze all throughout the fleet, and even one of the Krakens were damaged, taking a near miss and the explosion causing severe damage below the waterline.

Still, this was not an end to the attack, and on the ground, mercenary forces were moving into the capital. Any who resisted would soon find themselves doused in tear gas as canisters were launched haphazardly throughout the city. Mercury APC's and jet black humvees bearing the golden griffin of the Corporation drove throughout the city blaring out propaganda as AV-18 Lunas and Blackhawk helicopters did the same. Just outside the city, men were busy securing an airfield, and the lead elements of the Griffincrest Aerial Security Forces were beginning to move in.

Hundreds of aircraft, mostly F-4 Phantom II's and F-15 Cardinals, along with a handful of B22 superheavy bombers and Il-28 bombers began making their way to the island. Skynet positions were established all over the newly taken land, and there were now at least a thousand launchers, some mobile and others not, on the ground in Grosse Reich.

Meanwhile, the fleet reconfigured itself for maximum air defense. The staff aboard the Admiral's ship let loose a cheer as they watched hundreds of TPF aircraft go down in a hail of explosive darts, but Darkdagger was not as happy. He knew that there would be more planes to come, and he ordered more aircraft to the skies over his fleets. Those bombers would never get within range to launch their missiles.

The Black Widow's were now in range. They targeted the all important enemy carriers, as well as the air defense ships, and let loose with missiles, more than 1,200 of them activated, their rocket engines propelling them to 20,000 feet. Once there, they began to dive on the enemy, guided by a regular turbojet engine. This would be just one attack in many.

Rammsteinburg

On a hot and humid day in northern Rammsteinburg a group of about 40 soldiers runs down the center of Fort Graumeer in full combat uniform, M-16 rifles in their hands. This platoon of young soldiers was engaging in a day-long exercise to prepare them for battle; and as they did so, an old Colonel named Stanton Heinz sat watching them from his office on the fifth floor of an eight story building. Upon his uniform were the ribbons for service in five wars, two Purple Hearts, and one of Rammsteinburg's most distinguished military awards: the Gold Star of Honour.

Colonel Heinz sighed as he watched the small group down below. "Look at those fresh faces," he said to himself. "All of those men have never seen battle, and yet I can tell that they're ready for it. I can see it in their eyes: these young bucks are itching to fight! It'd be such a damn shame if their talents were wasted..." He sipped his coffee, and thought back to when he was a recently commissioned 1st Lieutenant leading 30 men through rain, mud, and enemy fire. His reminiscing quickly came to an end, though, when there was a knock upon his door.

"Mein Herr, Sergeant Major Johannesberg requesting permission to see the Colonel, mein Herr," said a man with a rough, guttural voice like a freight train announced. Colonel Heinz bid the gentelman into his office, and then entered his assistant, carrying an official comminique in his right hand.

"Well, Sarge, what do you have for me today?" asked the Colonel as he did an about face in his rotating chair. "If it's the fitness reports, just put them on my desk, and I'll get to them later."

"Mein Herr," SGM Johannesberg began, "I have a message directly from President Brennermann." He handed the letter to the Colonel.

Heinz was in shock. "Straight from the President?" he said, more so to himself. For an officer below the rank of Lieutenant General to be contacted by such a high-ranking government official was unusual. Curious and excited, the Colonel braced himself for some big news. Luckily for him, the contents of the letter were what he had been waiting for, for a very long time.

"Sergeant Major," Colonel Heinz said, his eyes still fixed to the paper in his hand and a devious smirk upon his face, "get ready to dust off your weapons. This Army is back in action."

SGM Johnnesberg was almost dumbfounded. "Mein Herr, you mean..."

"Yes, Johannesberg; we're going to war!" Colonel Heinz looked back outside where he saw that same platoon going another lap around the base.

The next day Heinz's 12th Infantry Brigade hitched a ride from the Navy and headed towards where the fighting between the Corporate Alliance and the New Prussian Empire was taking place.

The missile attack struck with devastating precision. The damaged Crusader's Glory went down as men attempted to jump into the oil and blood slicked waters to save their lives. Another carrier, the Warmonger, was hit by nearly ten missiles, the crew still reloading the CIWS and thus leaving the ship entirely reliant on its escorts. The carrier erupted into a massive fireball, killing nearly everyone on board instantly. A third carrier, Total War, was hit by a missile that caused considerable damage. but the ship was still afloat and operational. Around the fleets, even more of the frigates and destroyers were going down, and helicopters and the smaller Um al Maradim attack ships buzzed about picking survivors out of the sea.

Meanwhile, the Tigerlan fleet was detected, and Admiral Darkdagger decided that they would pose the greatest threat, using Questerian vessels, and they would need to go immediatly. The Mogami Air Defense Cruiser was easily one of the best ships of its type in the world, and these were going to be the primary target of the upcoming attack. Three hundred F-14 Tomcats and one hundred FA-16 Priests were scrambled from both the fleet, and the newly taken and garrisoned air bases. The Tomcats carried two Shockhound Avenger anti-shipping missiles each, and the Priests each carried four, making a total of one thousand missiles going into the air. This, hopefully, would be overkill, even for the famed Mogami. At a bit under maximum effective range, 450km, the jets would unleash their payload in a massive missile spam. Meanwhile, from ground positions, over four hundred SCUD missiles were launched from their launchers within the Reich, Their targets were the Shirune class destroyers. The launch was tied to coincide with the arrival of the Shockhounds, which would come from a different direction. This would hopefully split the anti-missile fire enough to allow the missiles to do maximum damage.

To even further split the focus of the fleet, a wing of eighty Il-28 bombers left bases in occupied Grosse Reich, all loaded with a pair of Argentinian Condor II missiles would close to the same range as the launch point of the Shockhounds, and the one hundred and sixty missiles of that group would sent into the fray, targetting the destroyers. The Tigerlan fleet would now need to deal with a threat approaching them simultaneously from three directions.

On the ground, the mercenaries were beginning to solidify their hold on the island, and went about on search and destroy operations, looking for what had formerly been the Reichs military. The operation on the ground had gone far more smoothly than any had thought, and even at sea, the naval officers had wondered where all of the Prussians had gone.

OOC: 1000 destroyers? Thats a lot of ships. And also, what kind of planes did the Reich fly, I am going to RP their capture.

" Delta Nine, This is Goldwatch.
" Go, Goldwatch."
" RADAR is painting large group of enemy heavy bombers heading towards Tigerlan fleet. You are to intercept. Over."
" Roger, Goldwatch, moving to intercept, over and out."

The flight of 56 Star of Fate fighters moved to intercept the enemy bombers, they put their engines on afterburn, racing through the sky. To further make it difficult for the enemy to detect, they flew below radar level, and would pull up to intercept the enemy when needed.

Meanwhile, more than nine hundred new aircraft launched. These were the U-2 Spearhead Unmanned Combat Aircraft Vehicle. There were hundreds of them, all armed with various weaponry. They flew well above the enemy's SAM range, and they would only come down to play once they were over Grosse Reich. Then they would begin to hunt the enemy mercs in the area, destroying them with Anvil anti-tank missiles, cluster bombs, or gun pods. But by far the most important weapon they had was the Anti-radiation missile. Once the SAM's turned on their radars to target them, these would launch, ensuring that they never bothered any aircraft again. To minimize causalities, the aircraft were also spread far apart, so one missile could not take down too many of them. Griffincrest would have to use many missiles, and they did have a limited supply, and while they could not afford to loose missiles, TPF could afford to to loose the U-2's, one of the most simplest UCAV's TPF owned.

Finally, another group of Hurricane bombers took off, these ones were armed with long range anti-shipping missiles, they would be able to launch out of the range of enemy SAM missile sites. A total of over 1,000 would be launched, targeting the enemy carriers and air defense ships. Using a rocket booster to propel them, they would loose this before falling to sea level, whereupon they would fly until striking an enemy ship. More and more waves would follow, until the enemy fleet was all but destroyed.

Off to the New Prussian Empire's back came a small group of ships. Two small destroyers grouped with ten troops carriers, and fifty landing gunboats. All in all, three thousand Cnian Marines would land on Gross Reich's island, immediately heading to the capitol and begin erecting defenses. This was all part of a slow build up of Cnian troops, which would lead to two divisions and an independent brigade of troops.

For now the gunboats landing, dropping off their payload, a total of five hundred Marines. The next step was landing the troop transports, which was quick and painless as the remaining two thousand five hundred landed. The transports heading back to their escorts. The fleet departed, except the fifty gunboats which were manned and ready to join the naval engagement.

|-|

Tugging along at a slower pace was the 12th Cnian BattleGroup, consisting of six Aliegh Burke Class destroyers, two Iowa-Class Battleships, four Ohio-Class Missile Submarines. With their commander, Lower Admiral Jon Swan, an experienced Naval leader. It would take them a bit of time to enter the fray, but they would be at the spearhead, even if it was suicidal.

The 12th Cnian BattleGroup moved into position. The Iowa-Class Battleships tugging along towards the Griffincrest fleet, firing forty-eight rounds as they moved in. The six Burke Missile Destroyers launched their payload at the transport ships and lighter armoured targets, firing thirty-six of their fifty six Tomahawks each. The Ohio-Class submarines went east of the main 12th BattleGroup and attempted to sneak closer to the transport ships, using the stealthiest techniques they could.

|- Mainland -|

The 188th Mechanized Infantry Regiment quickly position themselves in Gross Reich's capitol (Which is?) and began constructing bunkers inside the already made buildings, conscripting construction workers to create a strong underground system that could house fifty thousand troops. And advanced infantry platoon moved along the shore to where they naval fighting was taking place, bringing with them a combat camera man and reporter. From there they set up a forward position, relaying information back to the capitol.

-| Back at Port |-

The two divisions and the independent brigade waited for their ferry's which was a massive transport fleet of hundred ninety transport ships. Not to mention two full battle fleets. They all road up their tanks, armor and the like, bringing with them good luck charms, and reciting their religions.

700 JAU-64 catapulted off the Tigerlani Carrier decks, streaking towards their selected targets, some heading towards the technologically inferior F-14's, others heading towards the group bombers aprouching, Each equipped with 6 of the Silverstreak 2 and 8 AIM-102 Super sidewinder Air to Air Missiles.

The Wanderjarian fleet which had been dispatched to Gallia had never managed to return home before the invasion of Wanderjar by Pudu, however the OKW in its wisdom had decided to redispatch them to the assault on the Griffincrest Corporation's military attacking Grosse Reich. A hundred Kirov Class Battleships, eighty New Socialism Class battlecruisers, twelve Nimitz and Admiral Kutsayov Carriers, dozens of Lord Class Destroyers, as well as twelve Argentine Class Galleon Super Anti-Dreadnought ships and numerous other craft including one Hood Class ship were brought to bare.

The Wanderjarian Admiral, standing before a glass window in the bridge of his Command CV, watched as the range finder targeted the Griffincrest ships, and he grinned evilly. Now they would have no chance of escaping. Turning to his weapons officer, he said calmly, "Mr. Piter, would you be so kind as to fire upon the enemy ships?"

"I thought you would never ask, sir," The Wanderjarian Naval Officer replied. "All Units!" He commanded over the Comms network, "Fire all guns, and target enemy ships with the anti-shipping missiles our Questerian friends have only been so kind to provide us with." Almost immediately hundreds of heavy guns began firing upon the enemy ships, as well as thousands of SS-25 Sovereign Questerian Anti-Shipping Missiles and more SS-27 Subject Missiles soared towards enemy capital ships.

One Hundred Cartagena Class SSNs also fired their compliment of anti-Shipping ordinence, as they each launched several SS-N-62 Toraidento Sub Launched Anti Shipping Missiles. Griffencrest would soon experiance a blood bath unlike anything it had ever in its history experianced. They had long ago learned to fear the Wanderjarians, yet now it would grow into an all consuming terror which was precisely as the OKW desired it. They would die. All of them. There would be no mercy.

The Tigarlan fleet had reacted much as the Griffincrest forces had predicted, and the arrival of the Wanderjarian fleet was only too good. The Corporate aircraft all let loose their missiles at a maximum range (which for the slower Il-28's was almost 900km away from the fleet, and thus giving them plenty of time to get away). Meanwhile, the more agile Tomcats and Priests hoped to get to their target of at least 450 km from the fleet before the enemy fighters did. It was a race they were likely to win, having the advantage of already being in the air while the enemy aircraft circled around their carriers, waiting for their comrades to take off from the decks. The sky soon filled with missiles approaching rapidly from three directions. The Tigerlan fleet was now in a tough spot indeed.

Meanwhile, the fifth fleet turned towards the oncoming Wanderjarian fleet, and activated the secret weapon that the Corporation had provided for just such a thing as this. The fifth fleet had been equipped with advanced microwave weaponry, and these weapons would soon show the world who the better in this conflict was, as hundreds of Wanderjarian missiles fell from the sky into the sea below, or just outright exploded as the microwaves made contact with the rocket fuel. The old, Soviet made vessels and New Socialism class battleships, although built to fight EMP's, could not deflect the frequency of the Griffincrest microwave weapons, unless they had at some point underwent some really expensive and time consuming overhauls.

Admiral Darkdagger simply shook his head as he watched his fleet charge off at the now surely stunned and frightened Wanderjarian fleet. The fifth fleet had been holding in their secret weaponry for the momentt when either the Wanderjarian or TPF fleet had gotten too close, and now was the moment to unleash. For a moment, he contemplating radioing ahead to the Wanderjarian admiral to tell him what was coming for him, but this thought soon left his mind as he imagined a paniced staff hurriedly rushing about the bridge of the Wanderjarian flagship, attempting to figure out what the hell had just happened to what was supposed to be their ultimate missile storm.

As for the microwave thing, I think it could be practical as long as directed-energy weapons are allowed in this thread (ie, a pulsed laser, which would avoid blooming).

IC:

The planned invasion of occupied Crystal Island had ended without the Dominion armada even firing a single shot. With most other NPE nations under assault, the Dominion was left with too much time on their hands and not enough things to kill. Rather than simply shoot for home and let things blow ever, Amazonian leadership wanted to throw the already-dispatched armada-quite a large one at that-right into the Griffencrest Front to engage. At first, the fleet would stand off somewhat to judge what was underway...and then get into the thick of things, nice and dirty.

Crystal Island was more than secure and the fleet was moving at full speed towards the Griffencrest Front to meet up with TPF's fleet already in the area. The two nations had worked together plenty already in the fight for the NPE, and now it seemed best to hook up with one of the NPE's foremost nations to get a better grasp on the current situation. The Dominion was not at all uncapable-they were stronger than many in the conflict from either side-but as far as the NPE went, the Dominion was in of convenience and less so of a moral obligation. Rather than the other Prussian members, Amazonia was not guided by founding principles and old-school values-rather, directed by self-serving and secular motivation.

Dominion satellite operations remained vigiliant as the fleet moved out, HK sats keeping watch for ASat missiles or other nasty little tricks to engage in orbital warfare. The carriers of the armada kept up constant AWACS patrols to keep an eye out for things-the fleet itself was always aware. However, in the open sea, there was little interference-for the time. The real fun was yet to begin, but begin it would.

OOC: Well, from what I read on wikipedia on microwave weapons here is what it said:

Microwaves
Microwave guns powerful enough to injure humans are possible.

Active Denial System is a microwave source, to heat the water in the target's skin and thus cause incapacitating pain. It is being developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory in New Mexico by researchers working with Raytheon for riot-control duty in Iraq. Though intended to cause severe pain while leaving no lasting damage, some concern has been voiced as to if the system could cause irreversible damage to the eyes. However, such damage, being non-lethal, would still be preferable to the damage caused by conventional munitions. There has yet to be testing for long-term side effects of exposure to the microwave beam. It can destroy unshielded electronics.
See VMADS (Vehicle-Mounted Active Denial System)

The bolded is what I found interesting. That's just my two cents...

OOC: As the person that recommended Microwave Directed Energy Weapons to BC, I feel obligated to stick up for him.

I first learned about Microwave Directed Energy Weapons last quarter in school. I am a college student participating in the US Air Force's ROTC program. In order to be eligible for my scholarship, I am required to take a number of courses, which the Air Force feels will prepare me to be an officer. The courses are taught by professors, who serve in the US military.

During one such course, we discussed challenges the US military should expect to face in the future. My professor cited microwave directed energy weapons as an example of a future threat. These weapons are cheap, easy to build, ruthlessly effective at destroying electronics, and are perfectly capable of causing fuel tanks to explode. For these reasons, our military expects microwave directed energy weapons to be the tool of choice for future terrorists.

To protect a device from microwave directed energy weapons, the entire system must be hardened against microwave frequencies. Very few things currently enjoy such protection. Thus, nearly everything is vulnerable.

Naturally, the US military plans to take advantage of this weapon. The F-35 Lightning II may be equipped with them, and a number of F-16's have already been equiped with them for testing purposes. Obviously, they wouldn't equip a fighter aircraft with a microwave to cook hotdogs. They want the ability to fry electronics.

So you don't have to take my word on it, here are a number of references:

Global Guerrillas (http://globalguerrillas.typepad.com/globalguerrillas/2004/05/journal_homemad.html) (includes a report by a USAF colonel)
Global Security (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/munitions/hpm.htm)
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed-energy_weapon)

In fact, microwaves have already been used in combat by the US military in Iraq. At the onset of the war, a high power microwave bomb (HPM) was tested against Iraqi air defenses.

OOC: Tigerlan, I'll post what happens with the Shockhound carrying aircraft now, but the Condors and SCUDs have still launched.

The Tomcats and Priests pushed their aircraft as fast as they could possibly go as plane after plane fell from the sky, smashing into the water at intense speeds or otherwise just exploding in mid air. Dozens were being lost with every passing minute as the enemy missiles filled the air. These planes, however, were not defenseless. They fired back with their own fusilade of missiles, hundreds of them, like a wall of AMRAAMs would soon be screeching through the air for the enemy aircraft.

And still, a handfull of planes had made it to the launch point, and roughly a hundred and forty Shockhound Avenger II missiles had made it to their launch point. Granted, this was far less than was hoped by Griffincrest admiralty, but the goal of a three way fire split was achieved. Not only this, but the loss of Shockhounds was compensated for by the massive stockpiles left behind by the Grosse Reich military.

Over eight hundred SCUD missiles would soon fill the skies again, all launched from former Reich bases. The fleet from Tigerlan would soon be having what many would call "a bad day."

The Binarian navy was reeling after Gallia the loss of the 14th Fleet had shaken up the admiralty. They were furious over how they had been defeated so handily. They wanted revenge and wanted it now. When they learned that Prussian forces were under heavy attack, realized it was the perfect chance to get thier vengance. They 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th fleets set sail and were on their way to aid their prussian allies.

OOC: Glorfied taggage, will post again later today.

Reported to all commands in theater by the Task Force Electronic Warfare Officers:

A massive and powerful radar jamming field extending 1200 miles wide has just appeared. It is so powerful that our radar resolution is limited to a mere 60 miles in any direction South.

New Contacts Reported: airborne phased-array radar contacts at 160 and 200, range indeterminate. Classify as E-3 series airborne radar.

OOC: NPE is using Agile Frequency Modulation (AFM) which means that friendly radars are jumping between frequencies that are alternately jammed and unjammed based on a random Fourier transform (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourier_transform) and a standard time base. Jamming is NOT affecting any NPE units.
