A baby shower, Haruko nine months pregnate but it only felt like yesterday that she first met the love of her life. Now she was here having a shower. A bit late but it's the thought that counts. "Here you are dear." She was handed a cup of tea. "Thanks."

"So any day now?" Asked another woman

"Ooh no kidding," Haruko said. "I feel like I'm going to pop at any moment."

"Well the first one is always the hardest. Is it a boy or a girl?"

"We don't know," Haruko said. "We want to be suprised."

"Clever, when I had my Flora my life was changed."

"Having a child is a blessing and a curse." The women laughed at the joke.

"Well I'm at Stage 2, teenagers."

"Oh dear."

"You have no idea."

Haruko let out a cry and dropped her cup.

"Are you okay?"

"I think my water just broke."

"Oh my, let's move ladies!"

The girls all hurried to their cars. Haruko was helped in to the passanger side and barely managed to fit in the seatbelt. "Oh I'm not ready."

"Don't you worry sweetheart, you are perfectly ready for this."

"Someone should call Baldwin and let him know the baby is comming."

They pulled up to the emergency room entrance. "Move aside, woman having a baby here!"

"This is a bit much isn't it?" Haruko asked.

"Don't be silly, your first you want right."

The other women regrouped. "At least Haruko you are in the hospital, when I had Kathrin I was stuck at home because a flood washed the road out."

"Haruko," The voice was of Dr. Ivy Ruckmann. "Right on time I see."

"I can't belive this is happening."

"Be glad, most women your age go long before they're ready. Doctor Stromm will take you back now."

"Did you call Baldwin?"

"Don't worry sweetie he's on the way."

"Laides you will need to wait here."

"Good luck!"


She was wheeled back into the room.

Baldwin did not know of what was going on with his wife as he was visiting his family. As he was just talking to his father, he recieved a call from the hospital and immediately and swiftly he grabbed his coat, said goodbye to his kids and went to the hospital as fast as he could.

When he arrived, he checked himself in and asked for the whereabouts of Haruko. A doctor escorted him to her room and he found her, preparing for giving birth to the child. "Haruko, how are you? Are you alright?" Baldwin said in an instant, standing at her side.

When Haruko was giving birth, Baldwin hoped inside himself for a healthy child, that there would be no problems. After some time, Haruko beckoned him over to her. A child was born....but would there be another?

"I'm okay my water broke and the ladies drove like bats out of hell to get me here." Now labor was taking over.

"Okay you are doimg great Haruko, push! Push!"

"All right I see the baby it's crowning." They pulled out one. "Okay Haruko you're almost done, here comes another they pulled out a second.. "Congratulations you have two healthy baby girls."

"Twins." Haruko said out of breath.


"Twin girls." The babies were crying loudly, a good sign.

"Congratulations, here you are." They handed her the baby girls. "My girls. Our girls."

"Twin girls." The babies were crying loudly, a good sign.

"Congratulations, here you are." They handed her the baby girls. "My girls. Our girls."

Baldwin helped his wife in the arduous and painful process of giving birth to her child....or children as Baldwin could see that after the first child came out, there was another one accompanying it. He stood by Haruko's side and smiled at her and his new bundles of joy.

"Twin girls?" Baldwin said as he inspected his newborn children. He smiled and took one of them in his hands and played with one of his new daughters, he admittingly did some baby talk.

After a while, Baldwin looked at Haruko and sat next to her on a chair he got from a nurse. "What shall we name them?" Baldwin said to his wife as he thought of girls' names. "Flora could be a good name."

"Flora sounds wonderful. I've always wanted a girl named Sakura. So how about Sakura?"

"Sakura would be an alright name."

She gave each of her babies a kiss. "Flora and Sakura. My babies."

"You two must be very proud."

"We are. We are so greatful."

She gave each of her babies a kiss. "Flora and Sakura. My babies."

"I am thankful that they are healthy." Baldwin said after Haruko finished. He smiled and then took Flora into his hands, while Haruko held Sakura. "A bundle of joy, hopefully not a handful."

"Don't be silly they're babies." She gave them a kiss. "You will be able to take the babies home tomorrow. We want to keep them overnight just to be safe."

They gentaly took the babies and placed them in the Maternity Observation Ward. They seemed to be very healthy and all right.
