Agua Buono, one of Nueve Italia's biggest Beverage Production and Distribution companies, has sent out a survey across the global community, asking what participants think is the national drink of their nation. They have also asked official government stances on the matter as well, in order to diversify their products to appeal to a wider audience.

For Nueve Italia, the national drink has been determined to be horchata: a rice-based drink that is flavored with cane sugar and cinnamon. It is typically served hot, however it can be chilled or even thickened into a porridge-type dessert.

Earl Grey tea is the drink that is associated with most Londinians, and, on occasion, Vernaccia rum, from north British Londinium.

Non-alcoholic: Coffee is the most popular beverage. Sbiten, a traditional honey drink is also popular during the winter months.

Alcoholic: Depends on the region. South and Western Vetalia are wine-drinking regions, while vodka and other grain spirits are popular in the central Vetalian grain belt. The North tends to be the heartland of the country's beer industry as a result of cultural influences from more Germanic regions.

The most popular "soft" drinks in the Armed Republic of Skibereen are indeed horchata, and a simialr drink based on barley instead of rice.

However, the official national drink of the republic is Irish/Irysh Distilled Whiskey either imported from Ireland or distilled in Skibereen.

Stout is also very popular, and is commonly drank with morning meals.

Being largely Japanese in descent, Otagians are generally pretty big on tea, having carried over the Japanese tea ceremony to their own national identity.

As for the United Kingdom of Brutland and Norden, we have two distinctly peculiar drinks:

Alcoholic: licuoro vaca (cow liquor) - essentially the fermented urine of our national animal, the Brute cow (Bos bruta). Brute cow urine is collected, strained, boiled, filtered, Pasteurized, and then aged in casks like wine. Different regions produce different kinds and flavors of this unique liquor.

Non-alcoholic: dragonfruit juice - produced usually in the subtropical northern parts of Norden, it is a rare prized drink.

Non Alcoholic; Irn Bru, a drink imported from a distant land, a bizarre orange hue with a strangely citric flavour to it.

Alcoholic; Mead, fermented honey, and Tennent'sm fermented hops and yeast.

Probably just water.

The national drink of the Vestern States is Gin&Tonic. Chilled, with a slice of lime and 4-5 bits of ice.

Yes there are some potentially deadly side effects of substandardly-prepared absinthe, thus, the Imperial Government controls the producion and shipping of all absinthe in Kirav and it's colonies.

Cazelia's non alcaholic drink is Cazelian insanity pepper juice, created by inmates of a Caz'e city insane asylum. it is the hottest drink kown to man, and it has been known to kill forigners on many occasions. it is non lethal to Cazelian nationals or anyone with Cazelian blood. the recipe is-

2 crushed insanity peppers
4 teaspons of vanilla
12 peri peri seeds
1 chocolate bar
1 cup of tomato juice

The favourite beverage of Steelians is unquestionably coffee, specifically a type known as "Southland coffee" (grown in Steel and Fire's South American colonies), which is usually prepared without milk or cream. It is practically all they drink. In terms of alcoholic beverages, there is such a wide variety that no one can be pinpointed as a favourite.

Typical Candrian non-alcoholic drinks include sodas (colas being the most popular), coffees, lemonades, and apple or orange juices, with fruit juices gaining in popularity amongst a health-conscious populace.

Alcoholic drinks are dominated by whiskeys, with Tennessee-style whiskeys being most predominant, with Scotch and Bourbon also bearing high in the list. Rum is also quite popular, although more in mixes or cooking than anything else. Tequila is also noted as a popular drink. It should be noted that the Candrian preference is to harder drinks; drinks like americanized beers are considered 'children's drinks' and do not find themselves in many bars, the exeptions being lagers and Summer Ales. Despite the preferences of Candrians, alcoholism is not a pervasive issue in Candiria.
