Minister of Foreign Affairs Raymond Schmidt and Minister of Greenlandic Affairs Hans Thule's Lear jet touched down in Port Yorkbere. This is where the official talks over Greenland would be held. However, they both knew such talks were meaningless as the Kampferians had already forcefully taken over the entire island. However, economic and humanitarian issues must be addressed, this was the point. Finally, signing this treaty would be the final action of Mr. Thule, it will be a bittersweet day for all of Brittonia.

"Well. . .", Thule said, "the Inuits on Greenland are a very independent people, me as one of them. In the parliamentary elections, the Inuit Party, of I am a member of, aligned with some of the other parties to form the New Alliance. We promised them a gradual independence within twenty-five years. We were going to get rid of Greenland, however, we got rid of it sooner than we thought."

"We want a treaty to give up Greenland, but to secure the human rights of the people there, and one final thing."

"This is utterly personal, but I want to spend the rest of my life in Greenland. This job as Minister of Greenlandic Affairs will be over right when we sign the Articles of Capitulation of Greenland. I was born in Greenland and I spent all of my life climbing up the Greenlandic political ladder. Unless you have a job for me, which I will do, want to spend the last of my life in Greenland with my family."

Thule then said,
