Rooms were being cleaned lanterns filled with oil or alchol.
"You're majesty, everything is being finished now. Your guests should will have a great time I'm sure."
"Thank you." Tomoyo said.
The skies were clear and the north seas were calm. Should be for an easy entrance. This was a big deal their regional allies were visiting. They would probably see Tomoyo for the first time. The teenage princess was reserved but on the inside she was bursting with nerves and excitement.
OOC: Sorry for my late answer. I finally managed to fix a sort of bug with my forum account which prevented me from posting over the last few days.

The ship at left New San Fransisco, also known as Aurona, the capital of Aurono, five days earlier. They really had been happy that they had calm seas all the while (The princess was slightly prone to sea-sickness). At the horizon, a dark line above the calm surface of the blue sea became visible. The captain of the IAS Tsubasa, the flag ship of Aurono and personal cruise ship of the royal familiy, turned to one of the officers. "Hideaki!" he said "this must be Kurona. You're taking over here. I'm going to report to Her Highness". He left the bridge and went down to the Princess' rooms. He passes through several corridors made of blank iron and went down many rusty stairs to the center of the ship, were the iron and steel, the pipes and wires and the smell of oil, dominating the rest of the ship, gave way to panels of polished wood covering the walls, silk curtains hanging from a painted ceiling and the smell of roses was heavy in the air. He knocked on a white door with a golden pattern on it.
"Come in, captain."
The Princess was before her mirror. She had put on her finest white silk dress and was just putting ribbons into her hair.
The captain stepped in. "Your Highness, we're approaching Kurona. It should be only a short while now."
"Thank you. The princess turned and smiled. Then I'd better get on deck."
A short while later, the ship docked. The gangway was lowered.
"I've been lucky the sea was so calm." Momoko thought, then stepped down the gangway and into Onsen, and she was immedeately astonished at the vitality and liveliness that swept around her like a tidal wave.
