occ: sense the other thread is about naval combat and stuff this will be about land combat

In new kingstown, FFI the prepartions for the war were being made. the furs had not made the effort to blocade the beaches or anything because for now they wanted to be peaceful and show the tocrowkains they were not in sane or anythin but still thousands of protestors marched up and down the streets waving signs that said things like "DOWN WITH THE EVIL NAZI FASCIST MAHONE" and made ridiclous and embarassing photos of the tocrowkian leader, as they waited for the tocrowkian troops to arrive while the troops lay in wait in case things went wrong.

Tocrowkia

The Tocrowkian army marched into the city unopposed. They were vexed by the lack of defenses on the coast and chalked it up to sheer idiocy, which it was. To secure the area, a single regiment was sent in. They marched single file through the city, past the jeering crowds pointedly ignoring any insults or objects thrown their way, showcasing their discipline, something they would soon whip into the local population.

Finally stopping in the town square, the Tocrowkian troops lined up in formation in front of a large, disorderly crowd of protesters. Each man and woman in the line wore a stone cold expression, watching with apparently little interest as the crowd insulted both their homeland and it's leader.

However, if the Furries thought "peaceful" protests and amassing civilians in front of them would stop their conquest, they were wrong.

Why?!

Because they didn't care, that's why! And that was about to be proven, as a lone S.S. officer stepped in front of the Tocrowkian formation. Drawing his saber, he pointed to the crowd and looked into the eyes of his troops. "Tocrowkians! For your Reich, for your Steward, rape the fuck out of this city!" With that cry, the Tocrowkians fixed bayonets and charged headlong into the crowd, gunning down hundreds before they began to slice through it.

Tocrowkian armor soon moved into the city, only to have more furries attempt to block it's process, probably hoping to make it look like Tiananmen square. However, as mentioned, the Tocrowkians simply didn't give a rats ass. "Yiff this!" was the message broadcasted over a loudspeaker from one Tocrowkian commander, as the tank fired an anti-personnel shell, watching in glee as flechettes tore into the crowd.

Soon, the entire division moved into the city and began the systematic rape and destruction of the place. Every single house was broken into by the Tocrowkian troops, their occupants mercilessly slaughtered and anything of remote value stolen, heaved into garbage bags in ruck sacks to be taken home as trophies.

The Air Force also had their own fun, dropping cluster munitions and FAEs over crowds of fleeing furries. Napalm also found great use, as gunships used it to clear out crowded alley ways and streets for tanks, APCs and other armored assets. Within a matter of minutes, the entire city was on fire, and Tocrowkian blades ran red with glory.

The hospital ship CPS Mercy docked in the harbor and loaded on 5,000 FFI citizens. They would take these people to Central Prestonia, where they would be free of the oppression of the Tocrowkians. The citizens had injuries ranging from cuts to broken bones and internal lacerations. Some were as young as ten years old. The invaders clearly had made no distinction between combatant and civilian.

Prime Minister David flower went aboard the Boeing 757, International One. Either he would stop this war or he will cause another one. He came with thirty of the best lawyers and diplomats in New Brittonia. These attorneys were largely specialists in International law. Three hospital ships, the Hope, Speed, and Care, came with him, to be caring for the injured sick furries. The “Flying Hospital”, a Boeing 747 converted into a surgery ward came also. All were provided by the New Brittonian Red Lozenge.

The United Socialist States of New Brittonia condemns the actions of the Tocrowkian Reich. We are labeling these as war crimes and crimes against humanity, and are making preparations to sue the Tocrowkian Reich under these charges. Second, all FFI citizens are welcome to seek asylum in New Brittonia as of today.

Signed,
Foreign Minister of the United Socialist States of New Brittonia

after the evacuation, the Cazelian marines noticed the the furries were sad and lonely. they came up with a plan. since the IDS rescue was an aircraft carrier, the carrier's F/A-11 wing, VF-92 mad dogs, performed aerobatic mavuevers, and even some of the young children got to ride in the planes. the marine infantry then dressed up as Uruk-hai and humans and engaged in a mock battle. the marines even went far enough to get TV working in most of the cabins, and played hockey.

A tall IA wearing a large black suite with a red tie which had the pin indicating his position of IA on it. He walked up the smooth wooden desk, greeted the president first (for the president has been getting tired of the sir stuff.) and said handing him the paper, "You must read this sir. It's the reports on the FFI war, I know you've been keeping a close on it." The president took the paper from the IA's hand saying,

"Thank you Bub, (he looked up from the paper that he just started reading) why do you think Tocrowia massacered them?"

"Do not know sir. If you fo farther down you will notice that there are a few nations trying to help them. Oh and here is the picture report," He turned his body opened his jackets pocket and pulled out one more piece of paper and a hand full of pictures. The IA handed over the pictures, which depicted the burnt houses, and many many pictures of injured or killed furries.

The pictures also were on the ships being sent, and there was pictures of dead, and pictures of weapons used by Tocrow troops. If the IA looked close he could notice a tear run down the president's face. "And here is one more broadcasted message, I know you said you wanted a colony so we now can have this place, and the nation who sent this message you might like." said the IA with a big smile on his face,

" Are you fucking mad! I'm tired of killing civillians and soldiers in war! These have faced enough death. That may not justify what they have done, but you know what, that wasn't the civillians. We are no going to declare war on their government, but not on the civilians they will be evacuated, into our nation. And as for the asshole president of Tartarystan who has sent troops to attack evacuation fleets. They will be sank into thge ocean, and no mercy will be shown for those Tartaryians, kill all of the crew except for any diplomats, government figures, or any of the commanding officers of the ships, they will be sent to back to Greston so we can exicute them. That is all."

The Alfegos evacuation force, now at odds with the Balck Reich after the destruction of their flagship, were desperate to hit the enemy where it hurt.

Therefore, the APS Ultimatem, the largest missile cruiser of the APN, launched all 20 Exocet missiles vaguely towards the shipping lane of Black Reich, before, retreating back to its homeland waters as fast as it could.

=====

Meanwhile, the super-transport Epsilon, now loaded with over 8000 furry refugees in its massive holds, began to depart the island, all the while wary of attack by air or sea. That was why the fighter division stationed on Alfegos homeland had launched, and now were cruising at 49 000 feet, preparing to take on anything that came near the ships.

Captain Ulna whispered to her crew.

"Rig A.I.P. silent running."

The crew obeyed her. The Type 212 Submarine cruised silently through the sea. It was beautiful, she couldn't even hear his own ship from inside of it. There weren't any vibrations and considering how far she was from the closest target, this was risk less combat.

He was whispering, but even so, his crewmates could hear him over silence.

"Are the DM2A4s loaded into the torpedo tubes...?"

"Yessir."

"Good. How many ships do we spot on radar...?"

"I see about a dozen about 40 kilometres away..."

"Good. Get the gunnery men plotting the course, we're attacking."

~~~
After a short pause, the second-in-command nodded.
"Good. Fire tube one."
"Tube two."
They took a short while to than get the torpedo locked onto a new target.
"Tube three."
"Tube four."
They reloaded the other tubes while they were plotting and firing new torpedoes. After firing twelve torpedoes along with another submarine who had also fired twelve, the two submarines started going back to their homeland. They could stay underwater for practically a week, so having silent running on for the entire trip back was an option they opted for, just for safety as the two submarines went back to their homelands silently. They were almost 2000 feet below sea level and running completely silently. Radar would pass over them like nothing. Their torpedoes glided anonymously toward the ships. No one would be able to tell who fired them...
~~~
Ten minutes later.

The twelve ships were sitting ducks. They were all passenger liner ships with about fourteen thousand passengers per ship. They weren't meant to hold even a a third of that, but they had decided to fill it up regardless in desperation to have these refugees flee the war on the island. They were packed in into oblivion, so much that some officials wondered if they would all survive the trip to freedom.

They thought they were safe. After all, they were Red Cross ships. No nation would openly fire on a Red Cross ship. International law and all. But of course, that's only what they thought.

The first torpedo hit the liner in front. The torpedo blew it in half. Another torpedo smashed it again and sent the entire liner into the sea with what appeared to be all hands lost. The Red Cross officials were horrified but lost no time. The second liner was loading life rafts when the next torpedo struck. The ship went down into the sea with only a few life rafts open. Two life rafts escaped. It came to their horrible realization that there were not enough life rafts for everyone even if there were no more torpedoes sinking the ship at an asinine rate. The third liner got four rafts, the fourth five. Ship after ship sank with deadly and horrifying results. The last and twelfth ship sunk was only able to save a fourth of its people because that's how many life-rafts they had. The captain on the eleventh ship sent our distress signals to tell everyone of the distress they were in. He couldn't get more than send help before his ship went to the bottom of the sea.

The sea had burning ships. It was incomprehensible how many people would drown, or burn to death, or suffocate to death. The last ship went down very soon, but flaming wreckage was everywhere. Oil spilled out and this oil often caught on fire, even immolating a few of the survivors. Orange lifevests and liferafts peppered the sea. Many had escaped. There were over nine thousand survivors. But considering that just two ships held almost twice that number, the number perished was unimaginable. The torpedoes came from nowhere, were devastatingly fast, and mere commercial civilian ships had no chance. The survivors were stricken by grief. The realization of the death here was horrible. They hoped help would come soon...

It was only an hour after the first IA visited now a second shorter IA visited. "Sir the fleets are ready, they will launch hence you give the command."

"Good job Kutihy. But now I want on both od the Peace Fleets have I want 10 Collins Class Attack Submarines, and 2 Los Angeles Class Attack Submarine. For the War Fleet, I want 8 Los Angeles Class Attack Submarines, 2 Arsenals and 2 Zumwalts."

"But the message broadcast only said..."

"I don't care what the broadcast said if some one is to attack they will only know that there is 12 Seastabbers and Irondecks and 1 Check Cruiser. Now once they are together send them out."

"Yes sir."

Two Hours Later

The 2 Peace Fleets were half way towards their destination. The ocean sparkled against the shing medal of the ships. They traveled 17 mor knots and the scence changed enourmously. The water went from a sparlkeing blue to a sparkling red from the blood covering almost two miles of ocean. Small furrry bodies and tall human bodies alike scattered the area.

They fleet traveled in farther and saw a giant end of a boat sticking out of the ocean. A little while behind it was a small group of 14 big orange life rafts, The people on board started screaming and yelling as they saw the approaching boats.

The Peace Fleet had the survivors aboard the ship. They interrorgated everyone but know knew what happened.

The torpedoes came from nowhere, were devastatingly fast, and mere commercial civilian ships had no chance. The survivors were stricken by grief. The realization of the death here was horrible. They hoped help would come soon...

the IDS Freedom was watching as the ships were sunk by torpedoes. the ship sped over, it's underwater sonar running at full compacity. they then caught onto a signal, heading away at full speed. they pursued the signal until they were in range of it "fire anti submarine torpedoes!" yelled the captain, typing in co-ordinates to the directory. the missiles soared from their launch tubes, flying high in the air until they plummited into the sea, tracking the submarine like cougars stalking their prey. the freedom then signaled rescue ships to come to the sight of the sinking, picking up survivors as they went, and taking the dead bodies to the morgue ship...

the men aboard the IDS freedom had never seen something so horrible...

so evil...

"Captain!"

"What...?"

"There's a missile heading toward us!"

"In our own waters? Geez, where the heck did that come from? Anyways, deploy the decoys."

Decoys flew out of the back of the submarine. The crew grew considerably happier when they heard all of the missiles hit the decoys. The explosion rocked the submarine just a little, but not too much since they didn't hit the submarine or blow up close enough to it. It might have dented the hull a bit, but there was no major damage. The submarine sailed into the harbour.

"Captain, it appears a ship or few has been following us."

"Oh well, it won't last much longer."

The Harbour had already detected an unidentified ship or a few ships following them on their impressive sonar systems. It or they wouldn't last much longer. The men on the submarine watched with glee as two or three dozen BrahMos missiles took off from the harbor aimed at the doomed ship(s). With four times the speed and twice the weight of the Tomahawk, it had sixteen times the kinetic energy, not counting the increased explosive loads. They were flying toward the ship at Mach 2.8, which wouldn't even give them ten seconds to react to it. True, firing two dozen of them at one ship was overkill, and missiles weren't exactly cheap, but missiles were far cheaper than ships. The harbingers of doomed rappled through the sky at the doomed ship as the submarines docked in the harbour. They climbed into the sky so they would come down on an extremely high angle onto the ships with a huge impact that would luckily smash it in pieces in one blow.

Strangely enough, the Most Serene and Holy Empire of Tartarystan sent several huge passenger liners to the Free Furry Islands. A flotilla of two dozen bulk carriers were able to make it to the Free Furry Islands and managed to load a huge number of refugee. Though there are no exact numbers, the Tartars estimated the number was around seven digits. A million? They guessed around so, maybe twice that, but they didn't know for sure. No one had the heart to fire on two dozen unarmed civilian bulk carriers carrying so many refugees. They were stuffed everywhere. They were stuck in the cargo hold, the cabins, even on the deck. Though it would normally be seen as a contradictory policy, the government of Tartarystan expressively denied it was involved the torpedoing of Red Cross liners.

Unfortunately, due to the policy of trying to stick as many on each ship as possible, a few had died from the extremely cramped conditions on the trip to Tartarystan.

The flotilla of liners sailed toward Tartarystan, ready to dock in the harbours with the refugees. Many were confused by this action.

"In our own waters? Geez, where the heck did that come from? Any-"

"It stopped!"

"What?"

"I told you, it was a missile, not a torpedo."

"Wait...HAHAHAHAHAHA."

The captain roared with laughter. Snickers came across the entire submarine as all the crewmen joined her. They continued to laugh until they reached their home port in Tartarystan.

"Man, which navy tried to shoot a missile at submarine? Hahaha, that's just hilarious."

The captain had a huge grin on her face. She was still laughing at the absurdity of it all. The missile unsurprisingly stopped like a rock the minute it hit the water. The very concept of shooting a missile at a submarine is hysterical. It sent the whole submarine roaring with laughter.

OOC:

I hate to jut in here, but during the Cold War, both the Soviet Union and NATO developed missiles which flew in close to a hostile submarine's location and dropped a torpedo in to the water, the idea being that the submarine could not detect the missile easily, as it was submerged, and when the torpedo dropped to the ocean, and they could at last detect it, it was too close for them to make effective evasive maneuvers. Such missiles were judged on both sides to be very effective.

I'll be leaving now.

"Jesus, are they trying to commit suicide here? Attacking our largest harbour with such a small fleet?"

Realizing that there small missile attack had not deterred the fleet, every shore battery within three hundred kilometres opened up on the fleet. Torpedoes don't really turn, so it made hitting a submarine docked in a port rather difficult simply because it was somewhat of a convulsed path into the harbour. The torpedoes smashed into the side of the cement wall of the port, blowing huge chunks off a pier. The counter-attack was very fast and devastating. Every single missile site within three hundred kilometres, and there were a lot simply because the fleet had attempted to attack the harbour of the capital. Foreign merchants were docking in the port and stunned to see a fleet attempting to attack it. Eighteen dozen BrahMos missiles streamed toward the fleet that had found itself in the lion's den. The airforce found the navy an extremely easy target simply because they were parked right in the entrance of the island nation. Six dozen PAK FA fighter planes streamed above the navy ready to shoot down any unfriendly aircraft they spotted. Two dozen Tu-160s accompanied them, firing another twenty four dozen BrahMos missiles at the navy. Forty-two dozen BrahMos missiles now streamed toward the navy as the Tu-160s sped away at Mach 2. The PAK FA fighters remained on the watch for any enemy fighters. Just behind the navy, the refugee bulk carriers were starting to come in port.

"this is delta fleet, package coming into range" yelled the captain of the IDS dark hunter, as it's four main turrets (battleship turrets) unleashed the hell of class two killer rounds into the port, as F/A-11Bs took off to engage and destroy the enemy aircraft

A few chunks of concrete were blown off the pier and fell into the water again. PAK-HA fighter planes dived down and launched their missiles right at the F/A-11Bs. Either still on the deck or just taking off in a straight line, they were sitting ducks to the incoming missiles. Each fighter plane launched a missile, sending six dozen Python 5 missiles swarming toward the planes at Mach 5. It was like shooting fish in a barrel, engaging a target at close range with a carrier is usually almost always inadvisable. Three dozen torpedoes launched by harbour defences careened through the water on a death course at the carrier and battleship. The BrahMos missiles continued hurtling toward the carrier and other ships. The battleship literally had no defence against the horde of missiles and torpedoes coming toward it, and the planes really didn't either have. It was one of the most botched port strikes Tartar officials had ever seen. If you're close enough to strike a pier with shells, you're too close to its defences to survive.

In aerial combat, the one with the height and speed usually has the advantage since it is almost impossible to go straight up. Thus, the slower and lower airplanes must prevent being shot down the higher and faster planes because the higher and faster planes have the initiative to shoot down the slower ones. Firing cannons at planes that are not in visible range usually does not work very well, so it unsurprising none of them actually hit the fighters, who were too far away. The missiles continued flying toward the planes. They were going at such a speed, they would hit in less than a second. A few missiles were knocked out by SAMs but the rest still hurtled toward the ships and planes. The torpedoes continued unfettered, three seconds before impact. The cruise missiles aimed at the ship had two seconds before impact. Meanwhile, defences on the shore continued launching even more missiles at the beleaguered fleet. Even if the fleet attempted to retreat at this point, it was far too close to the shore to get away before the missiles all hit, and almost certainly would destroy them. Even if they somehow miraculously dodged the missiles, more missiles would take them out before they could escape. The only thing that could save them now was an act of god or something, which is essentially impossible. The fate of the sailors of the navy appeared grim. Their death seemed likely, but some could possibly survive if they abandoned ship immediately and surrendered.

1) Example: "Okay, I just blew up 300,000 of your troops!"

Why this is Godmoding: Because in freeform role-play, it's up to the person being attacked to determine their own losses. This leads to OOC bickering which in turn, ruin the entire RP. Trust me, it’s happened many times. Don’t let it happen.

OOC: Anti-ship cruise missiles are very commonplace. The BrahMos missile is a missile that was created in real life in a joint Indo-Russian military venture. The largest harbour of a nation would be understandably very well guarded, especially with missiles. They would especially easy to launch if a navy was parked in visual range of the harbour. I never said the entire fleet was destroyed, I just said it was probable. Note that I do not say expressedly that ANYTHING of theirs is destroyed. I just say that's its fairly likely, and I leave it up to them.

Saying "I just shot down xxx" or "I just blew up xxx" is a textbook definition of godmoding. You can't just magically destroy fighters or say your fighters just did it. Not to mention you're just making stuff up about my nation since it doesn't actually have any islands.

Their losses will likely be high simply because attacking a naval base at a range that close is almost suicidal. It's not feasible. A carrier will have a difficult time since planes are VERY vulnerable when they're taking off. If they're taking off in the range of enemy weapons, they'll be in for a world of hurt. In addition, it's a really bad idea to attack a port with a battleship. Coastal defences will tear it apart.

When they're taking off, they're HUGELY vulnerable, which is why typically planes take off OUT of enemy range, and fly into it as fast as they can, to minimize their vulnerability. It takes time to accelerate, much less climb.)

One fighter was hit by several missiles and swerved out of control into a Cazelian ship, causing a huge explosion which may or may not have destroyed the ship. The pilot probably escaped, but they didn't quite know. The missiles from the harbour continued firing into the navy as dozens of missiles took off from the harbour. Every single surviving ship was targeted once again with dozens of more missiles. The harbour immediately started sending messages to the navy inquiring about their identity, why they were attacking the harbour, and to surrender to harbour authorities. The navy appeared significantly outgunned by all of the coastal defences. Several shells hit one of the bulk cruiser. It was a giant refugee cruiser. It went down on flames into the sea. A few refugees escaped, but were horribly killed when the oil surrounding the bulk cruiser that had leaked out set on fire. It appeared tens of thousands of refugees, and probably dozens of Tartar crewman died in the shipwreck. Apparently enraged, harbour authorities doubled the amount of missiles they were launching, firing dozens upon dozens. Harbour authorities made sure to attempt to launch another flurry of missiles at any other unknown military ship coming within three hundred kilometres of the harbour. If any ship tried to go through the harbour, it would be attacked by missiles for hundreds of kilometres, which would almost certainly sink it before it even went fifty more kilometres, let alone a hundred, let alone even more. No ship could survive for ten hours of being hit by swarms of missiles. If the unknown force attempted to send in more ships, they would be destroyed piecemeal. Harbour authorities would wonder if the navy would attempt to withdrew, but that wasn't an option either. If they tried to withdraw, they would be harassed for three hundred kilometres, which would be up to twelve hours of getting hit by missiles. No navy could survive withdrawing under such circumstances.

"Because our submarine was nowhere near those ships. Our submarines were HOURS away from the ships when they sank. However, your ships were far closer. White Palace

Prime Minister Howard had enough. He had been watching the actions of the nations handling the problem and was disgusted. He quickly had a drink of brandy and calmed down. Just then The Defence Chief of Staff came into his office and gave him a folder.

"Prime Minister the Destroyers you requested his ready. Her name is the HMS Nottingham, her speed his thirty knots and she is armed with 1 Twin Sea Dart missile launcher,1 Vickers 4.5 inch (114 mm) Mk 8 automatic gun and a 2 Vulcan Phalanx Close in Weapons System. The other destroyer is HMS Manchester. She is just as fast as her sister and she is armed with Twin Sea Dart Missile launcher,114 mm (4.5 inch) Mk 8 gun, 2 x 20 mm Close range guns, 2 x Vulcan Phalanx close in weapons system (CIWS)2 x Triple anti submarine torpedo tubes and NATO Seagnat and DLF3 Decoy Launchers."

Prime Minister Howard read the files over and sighed. He didn't want to use military action but the violence was growing huge in the area. People's lives were at risk and it was now time to take full action. He took out his pen and signed the papers. The Chief of Staff nodded and walked out of the office. He only hoped the Prime Minister knew what he was doing.

Two Hours Near FFI

Admiral Kingston looked out on to the waters. It had been a crappy day for him. He had just been deployed into India after a bomb blew up a base but now he was being sent to some Island to help. On board the other ship HMS Manchester was his friend Deputy Admiral Glasspole. They had served together a number of timesand now this would be there last battles as they both would retire after fiffty-six years with the royal navy. "Sir we have picked up the Island. Do we move in or wait". Kingston wondered, would it be safe to do a large attack or take time and then move in. He wanted to keep casualties down but so many nations on the Island he couldn't dismiss it. "Sailor we wait them out call Glasspole and tell him. The sailor saluted and quickly went to work. Kingston knew it would be a bloody battle.

Harbour authorities replied back and stopped firing the missiles for a while. However, they were prepped to commence firing if the ships tried to do something funny.

"Because our submarine was nowhere near those ships. Our submarines were HOURS away from the ships when they sank. However, your ships were far closer. We do not know who did it, but it could have been us. Withdraw from our waters because it is clear you are trespassing on our territorial waters and you have the wrong ship. "Leave and never return. I'll be sure to watch your ports too. Google Earth is only $100 Tartar dollars over here. Have a nice day, don't let the door hit you on the way out."

With that business over, the bulk carriers started disembarking the surviving refugees from the FFI onto the pier.

As the fighter-bombers soar gracefully towards the battle group, they are repeatedly warned to turn back or be killed. If they continue on their current heading, the Aegis missile cruisers attached to the CVBG will be forced to destroy them.

((OOC: For the sake of my sanity, I am going to simply not reply to all the miscellaneous crap that went on while I was away. Do tell me if I missed anything relevant, But I severely doubt that I did.))

While all that bullshit was going on, The Tocrowkian forces were pretty much free to do whatever they want, which they did. By now, the sack of New Kingstown was pretty much over. Thousands upon thousands of Furrys lay dead or dying in the streets, but the Tocrowkian soldiers stepped over them idly as they continued to loot anything of value that hadn't already been stolen.

By now, the violence had spread to the suburbs and neighboring towns. Among the many "crimes" committed by Tocrowkian soldiers, arson became increasingly common as the troops burnt down entire blocks of buildings just for the hell of it. The now increasingly homeless population that hadn't been the victims of outright slaughter were now being treated as little more than objects of entertainment.

Tank crews began to "Ghost Ride" as their vehicles mowed over fleeing civilians, snipers began stiff competitions to see who could make the most kills within an allotted time, infantry troops tried to see exactly how many bayonet wounds a furry could take to the crotch before keeling over, along with a variety of other games.

Meanwhile, entire villages became victims to mass bombings by a variety of airframes, including the venerable SB-22 Sariel (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=484971&highlight=Sariel). Cluster munitions, FAEs and massive ordinance like BLU82's and MOABs were used to wipe them off the face of the map. Other villages had far worse fates, as the Reich used crop dusters to spread anthrax over them, or shot a variety of chemical weapons into them.

Special Forces also conducted operations to secure vital choke points for fleeing refuges, such as bridges and roads. Once secured, masses of fleeing furries were caught in artillery fire, ambushes and massive minefields. Any fleeing vessels were also easy targets for gunships and strike aircraft, but as requested, the Red Cross ships were left untouched.

For now, anyway....

Admiral Kingston knew more killings were going on but he couldn't do any thing yet. He had ordered ten Typhoon F2s to do the first wave of attacks. They would come in atleast at ten minutes and do a wave of bombs for five minutes and then leave. That would be there warning to the Tocrowkian forces that forces that kill citizens will face the wrath of the Royal British Army. The Ten Typhoon F2s arrived and was ready for take off. Kingston gave the order and they flew.

The ten jets flew over the skies and could see the island on sight. They loaded there weapons and flew over New Kingstown. They droped all there bombs causing a great wave of fire and smoke. Many pliots remembered the wave of attack by the London Blitz in World War two which killed thousands of British citizens. The Tocrowkian forces fired back and five planes went down. Tartarystan
01-08-2007, 02:02
Anyone who has been around in Tartarystan knows one thing. They never have good intentions. Ever. Ever. Hundreds of thousands of refugees fled into their arms expecting freedom. After all, they looked benevolent enough. Unarmed ships, smiles, and flying the sign of the Red Cross on their ships at it.

Everything was to change very quickly. The refugees were herded out of the ships. The ones that had died on ships were just thrown overboard eventually.

Sasha twirled her rifle. She smiled. She was with the other officials trying to sort out the refugees. The healthiest were designated "A". The not-so-healthy were designated "B". The most attractive ones (mostly children and young adults) were designated "C". A women, though designated B, asked to be placed the rest of her family, who was designated "A". About eighty-six percent of the refugees were in A, twelve percent in "B", and only two percent in "C". Sasha nodded and she got on an "A" lorry that Sasha would drive.

The lorries were simple. After loading the truck with as many people it could fit, usually dozens of people stacked like logs in horribly uncomfortable conditions, Sasha shut the door. Putting them in was kinda like Tetris to her... There were hundreds of lorries like this that the state saved for special occasions. She bolted the door shut. The cabin/trailer was completely airtight. It was a really simple design. These were the only truly "inefficient" cars in Tartarystan. The exhaust created quite a bit of carbon monoxide. Sasha proposed the idea of routing the exhaust port into the trailer as to function as a makeshift gas chamber. Not only was it cheap, it helped the state get rid of inefficient cars it did not want anymore. Rather than simply disposing of them, the state could now use the lorries for a useful purpose. She went off. For a while, there was no sound, but in a few minutes, pounding, screaming, and crying could be heard from the trailer. Some appeared to be yelling something at her from the trailer, but she didn't understand their language. After about a few minutes, all sound stopped. She smiled and parked her truck near a state laboratory. She parked in their parking lot and stopped. Officials ran up to her truck and opened the door. Dead bodies spilled out. Dozens of other trucks were arriving as well with their "material". The officials carted off the bodies. The staff was going to go through them all, harvest all of their organs, drain all of their blood, and than auction the bodies to various fertilizer factories and companies in Tartarystan. Sasha saw no wrong in it. After all, the blood transplants and organ transplants could save many lives. The country never had to worry about a shortage of blood or organ transplants. Or fertilizer for that manner. She returned back to the docking point. The road had huge numbers of trucks just like hers. It was only a ten minute drive to the laboratory. After all of the "A" group refugees were successfully suffocated and harvested, officials started transporting the "B" group refugees.

They weren't as healthy, so their organs and blood were thought to not be as good as the healthy ones. They would survive...for a bit longer. The "B" group refugees were to be transported to military bases where they would generally be caged until their job came. They would be used as target practice for various weapons by the soldiers. Weapons such as flamethrowers, napalm, tanks (its cannon and its tracks), rifles, bayonets, knives, machetes, and of course, hand to hand combat. There wasn't much reason to feed them or anything, so they would generally just be caged and neglected until it was time to use them as target practice. Some would be used as practice by doctors and medical students as practice surgery. Of course, the government was to cheap to use anaesthesia on them. Of course, some would be used as test subjects for full-fledged researchers to further research about human biology. Of course, the government was still too cheap to buy anaesthesia. They were already starting.

The third group was useful. They would ironically help fund social welfare and social justice programs around the nation. The coercion of citizens into sexual slavery and the import of sex slaves in Tartarystan was fully illegal, but the exportation of sex slaves wasn't. Though it was illegal to coerce citizens into it, the refugees were not citizens. They were chained up and quickly, illicitly, and secretly sold to foreign criminal organizations, black markets, and mafias for a great price. The government advertised to the last major domestic criminal organization in Tartarystan, which was quickly and brutally destroyed soon after. The government than resold the sex slaves they captured from the organization they destroyed to another foreign criminal organization. Each sex slave was fairly expensive but they were all purchased. The government of Tartarystan through corporate fronts was able to push through these sales, generating great revenue for the government of Tartarystan. Tartarystan was able to sell each for tens of thousands of dollars, making it extremely profitable. They planned to use this new-found money to help expand Tartarystan's welfare program as a part of their "War on Poverty".

The government had leased the ships from private companies, so they had to pay them a bit, but it wasn't much. Even the one that was destroyed had a negligible cost when compared to the money generating in their trade.

The government didn't feel like "importing" more refugees simply because they felt it would be too hard to do, and the fact that they already had enough test subjects/target practice/organs/blood/revenue.

It was perhaps the sheer surprise factor that resulted in most Tocrowkian casualties. Around two hundred were killed, and several hundred more wounded. However, several hundred furries were killed in the attack also, making it a bit pointless.

Tocrowkian SAM stations locked onto the annoyance, and fired several hundred at them to shoot them out of the sky.

Official Allanean Response to Steward Mahone.

"Go die or something."

IN the meanwhile, six Allanean Arsenal ships (unrelated to those of the Arsenal Ship Battlegroup, but embedded in the Allanean fleets) rose to the surface, firing their complete payloads. Soon enough, key positions of the enemy infantry would be struck by 8,4000 FAE warheads. That would be... very interesting for the Tocrowkians.

Further, a large amount of medical and supply planes took off to FFI. Around them, EW craft spammed a large amount of defenses, decoys, and disruption.

Meanwhile at sea

the planes stoped and circled around until they started going to the fleet with 5 new planes the radr signatures on the planes suddely dissapered
(this is NOT godmoding the planes that rienforced them were radar jamming, such a thing does exisit and is used by many navies around the world....

then several long range missles were fired from the radar jamming planes, headed strait for the large radar sattlites on top of the nemitz class enemy fleet

The Arsenal ships were quickly spotted by the patrolling Imperial Fleet. The response was immediate and lethal, as the nearby Star of Bethlehem-class began to spam the ever living fuck out of the area where the large RADAR/SONAR single had come from with anti-submarine missiles and torpedoes. They also began the task of intercepting the missiles, managing to destroy the majority of them before they reached the shores of FFI. And as the Tocrowkian positions were still rather static as the looting continued, casualties were few and far between.

Meanwhile, The Venator-class Super Dreadnought that had been overseeing the invasion to this point had been fed up with the Allanean menace. The position of their fleet was quickly located with satellite imaging, and with that, it ordered all near by cruisers, battleships and destroyers to spam missiles at the transports, mimicking the Allanean's own tactics.

Steel and Fire

Some underground bunker
Arcadia, capital of Steel and Fire

The Steel and Fire Department of Information Warfare and Intelligence, commonly shortened to Intel, was one of the best-funded departments in the nation, second only to the massive Department of Defence itself, which was said to soak up almost $200 trillion a year, although anyone with the slightest understanding of economics would point out the patent impossibility of such a claim (it was made primarily to worry the enemies of the Republic). Regardless, Intel controlled a wide-ranging spy satellite network, and its operatives were placed in accessible nations all around the world, as was customary in these paranoid times.

Today, however, Intel was devoting most of its processing power to decrypting e-mail messages.

E-mails have the curious disadvantage of being on the Internet, which is largely accessible to all. Hence, attempting to access supposedly "secure" e-mail messages, on superadvanced military computers, is not so arduous as it might seem at first. Decrypting the e-mails was a matter of minutes; in the dimly lit recesses of Intel, men and women scurried about, bearing printouts or orders from the Council, while the results were analysed and forwarded on to the Foreign Affairs Division of the Department of Defence.

Decrypting e-mails is, of course, illegal. A lot of people would be very angry if they knew what Intel had been up to this sunny afternoon. The Director of DoIWI, a man known only as The Director, was for this reason cautious. The data recovered passed through him before it went on to Foreign Affairs; (And no, this information passed not through the Internet, but through a specialised intranet set up between the various branches of the government encrypted at the highest possible level of encryption to ensure security) it was his job to accompany it with a short message detailing his suggestions.

Enclosed you will find the following:

A series of satellite photos showing the motion of trucks to and from certain areas in Tartarystan. These are alleged to have been transporting refugees who were killed at some point in the trucks.

Transcripts of e-mails decrypted from Lone Alliance computers. Strongly advise you to use these only as a reference and not mention them in any official communications due to the sensitive nature of e-mail recovery.

Other relevant information regarding the region; this is public knowledge.

Foreign Affairs apparently didn't take The Director's words to heart. The Official Statement issued a few hours later made a few smug references to the e-mails themselves, although it should be noted that Steel and Fire really could care less about international law.

Official Statement of the Republic of Steel and Fire

The allegations of these nations claiming a Tartar "genocide" of Furry refugees are frankly ridiculous. We have examined the evidence provided by Lone Alliance authorities, and the satellite shots are vague and blurry enough that we think it presumptuous of officials to claim that they can distinguish living and dead bodies; the only definite pictures are of trucks moving, loading, and unloading. Anyone would think Lone Alliance officials, and their allies, are actually looking for a war.

And as long as we are bandying idle threats about, Steel and Fire is a nation of six and a half billion citizens with a tradition of waging war; the eyes of its military are neither shut nor distracted. If anyone seeks war, the Republic would be only too happy to oblige; we have plenty of ships, planes and men sitting around idly waiting for their chance to shoot you. So please, refrain from making threats. We can make threats too, but unlike yours, ours are not written with words.

And Steel and Fire began to mobilise its full military now. There was no need for secrecy; satellites might detect upwards of twenty thousand naval ships in its ports (although how many of these were actually warships it was difficult to say), and the trains, planes, vans, and buses full of soldiers and logisticals were numerous enough to shuttle two million people an hour. Its defence condition counter rolled up a level to DEFCON 2 (Orange); across the nation reservists were called to drills and parades; in short, Steel and Fire was taking the time to reveal that it never made idle threats, and had no qualms about going to war.

OOC: From what I'm seeing this war is now shifting over to a war against Tartarystan and their allies.

Cazelia, TLA, and Aurum Domus verus Tartarystan and S&F.

Tocrowkia? You might just have the nation without any further conflict.

PS: And it appears that the AFA is an OOC alliance, seeing how it's been locked.

We will withdraw our marines, along with as many furries as possible.

The Imperial Democracy hereby delcares war upon you for the sinking of hospital ships and genocide. this has been tolerated long enough, and our video sattilites have filmed the murder of the refugees.

Far to the north, the Bryn Shanderan navy prepared for deployment. The furry menace had declared war on Bryn Shander's allies in the AFA, and the charter of the alliance explicitly required all members of the alliance to respond in kind. The furries wanted war. They would get it. This war would be the first battle in a fight for humanity.

One by one, the battlegroups left their icy ports and set course for the south.

+++President Lyov Bacherikov leaned back in his richly-upholstered black cloth chair, a snifter of clear grape vodka (38%, like it was meant to be) held in one hand, a smouldering cigar in the other and shoes up on the mahogany desk in front of him. He stared venomously at the television across the room, which was currently tuned to the state news network. The screen showed the Cazelian Congress in session, with President Alexander Hasley at the podium, delivering a speech. He was a very good crowd-pleaser, Lyov begrudgingly admitted—probably the only reason he was still in power, as well, given how paper-thin his arguments for declaring war were.
+++Lyov growled angrily as he watched the man across the world declare war on one of his nation's allies. He drained the last of the vodka, slammed down the snifter, replacing it with the TV's remote. The Cazelian President's speech was cut short mid-sentence soon thereafter.
+++He punched the 'push to talk' button on the desk-mounted intercom. 'Irina,' he called into it. He heard her own little television turn off. 'Call the Ministers. We have a problem.'
+++'Yes, Sir,' came the immediate and politely demure reply.
+++Lyov sighed, jamming the cigar into his mouth, while his free hand massaged his aching temples.

OOC: Whoops.... so I did. I meant "not all warships" as in, some of them were logistical ships. I don't know of very many people who claim to support over 20,000 combat ships; that would require total ship count to be over 30,000 which could get quite expensive. Well, enough off-topic yammering.

Meanwhile at sea

the planes stoped and circled around until they started going to the fleet with 5 new planes the radr signatures on the planes suddely dissapered
(this is NOT godmoding the planes that rienforced them were radar jamming, such a thing does exisit and is used by many navies around the world....
prepares flame shield)
then several long range missles were fired from the radar jamming planes, headed strait for the large radar sattlites on top of the nemitz class enemy fleet
(by the way all G2A missles are controlled by radar so say good bye to your agies missles)

OOC: So you... jammed your own missiles? :confused: Way to go?

Commodore Erik Von Hendy, aboard the super-carrier ENS Dominator, turned with a start as his radar operator shouted that the system had just crashed. He replied curtly, "You've been trained by the best, you know what to do." The operator nodded, and set the scanning frequency to constantly shift by means of a randomly-generated algorithm. He grinned. "We're back up. Several rapidly approaching marks, all moving in straight lines." The commodore nodded his acknowledgment, and, over the fleet-wide channel, ordered, "All Aegis systems to full readiness. Inbound marks. They appear to be rockets. Eliminate any that would strike us."

The missile cruisers each replied in the affirmative. Flashes of light from the rear of the carrier were quickly followed by the blur of interceptor missiles passing the bridge. Commodore Von Hendy stifled his smile as the inbound missiles, little more than rockets without their radar guidance, were apparently obliterated. He regained his composure and ordered "Terminate the hostiles, gentlemen." He watched as his ships' SAM batteries opened up before leaving the bridge for his quarters.

OOC: Radar jamming isn't perfect, bro, and honestly it's exceedingly difficult to jam more than one frequency at a time. And sorry about the delayed response.

Officail Statement of Increase Military Use

After hearing reports of Cazelia attacking Tartarystan, the exact nation we said we were going to attack, we have decided to enlarge the curren fleets out and take an all out victory on the newly formed Tartarystan.

The following ships will be sent:

x12 Irondeck battleship
x12 Seastabber battleship
x1 Kraken dreadnought
x30 of all types of submarines found in Greston

If any other nations besides Tartarystan are to fire upon the Grestonian fleet full out war, including airforce and land battles, will be declared. As of now the threat level of Tartarystan has increased.

We thank Cazelia for aiding the fight against these monsters while we were gone, now we have returned to finish them off and keep our promise.

It is at this time that the government of Dalnijrus would like to caution the government of Greston—not only are Tartarystani defence forces present, of course, but there are Vetalian, Steelandfirese and Dalnijrusian military assets in the area, as well. Were there to be any sort of attack on Tartarystan, it would end very, very badly.
