Consul Sir Alistair Davidson has ordered the redistribution of oil supplies throughout the world, despite a minor crippling of the production capacity by a terror attack, which is believed to have been performed by Sovereign League extremists.
Only hours after Sir Alistair announced to the press that "cutting off oil after ViZion kidnapped our citizenry was a childish act" and "British Londinium must continue to export its black gold", a oil transport was hijacked and exploded near a large oil distribution platform in the Ganapatian Sea.
Later, several cruise missiles were launched at refineries throughout the country. Estimates predict that full distribution and production capacity will be reached again in 2017.
