I am posting to say that i will take up the South Korea nation again, just to verify my existing claim.

Hi, everybody. You may remember this RP from...two months ago, about. We were doing great while on this forum, we got kicked off, we died. A shame, a shame. But, I won't dwell on that.

I'm attempting a restart of sorts, if you are interested. The title is self-explanatory: what would happen if the Cold War was still going on today. I will be shifting it forward to the beginning of 2008 (a shame I can't rename my forum :headbang:). There is precious little claimed. The member list may suggest otherwise, but most are inactive, and if you can claim any nation before its previous member reclaims it, it's yours, no questions asked. You can play around with the history of your country, and choose to ally yourself with the US and NATO, the USSR and the Warsaw Pact, or not align yourself at all.

I'm not in a place that I can make a map of the current claims (it will be done, make no mistake), but there is, as I said, very little claimed, so I will just list what is.

I hope to get some good, active RPers on this site, and I really hope it outlives your average offsite RP.

Perhaps you could provide us the forum URL? Also, if you are using InvisionFree you should be able to change your forum name in the Admin Control Panel. I'm not sure if similar rules apply to php or other hosting sites.

For the time being I don't have a specific claim in mind but I do reserve a certain amount of interest (provided a sizable following can be generated).

oh yeah it is, scratch that, I'll take Vietnam (North) if we have the partition of Vietnam.

I'm confused as to whats been claimed, so I'll either take the USA as I was before, If I can. The UK as a second option failing that, though I swear I can't find that email.

If you're splitting up Vietnam (as suggested by an earlier reply), I might want to go with the Republic of Vietnam (southern part), obviously as a US ally. Otherwise, i'll go with the Kingdom of Thailand, as a neutral nation. Either way, i'm going fascist.

Okay, this is Honako's lets be vague on making descisions post. If I can reclaim my old USA, I'll be them and NATO. If, for some reason I can't, I'd liek to have China and be neutral, as that China guy only post like once and was never active. I'd really like China. Though, if all those fall through for some strange reason, I'll pick the UK and be neutral but pro-West, for now.

Yeah, I went ahead and just claimed the entirety of Vietnam, as nobody else here has done so (they've only wanted either North or, in my case, South).
