A very long list of alliances, their descriptions, and links to their forums may already be found at the NS Wiki (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Category:Alliances). Some articles are longer than others, of course.

Not at all. I'm just pointing out another good resource for locating information on alliances, albieit one that is not always completely accessable due to technical issues. A comprehensive and concise list of active alliances and links to their forums or recruitment/information threads to be honest is a very good idea, if you're interested in maintaining it still.
