The Armed Forces of the Miroxian Dictatorship (AFMD) are being formed slowly. The Mariens, Army, and Navy have been formed, each with 200,000 people in each. Our Air Forces are being formed, and transportation is being developed/imported as well. The AFMD should be fully operational by this evening.

Whatever you say or do here, does not affect your nation therefore it won't create you a good army that properly defines your Dictatoship. If you check an economy calculator, you will see that your defense budget is 0%. You know what that means? No army, no navy, no marins...nothing..you don't have the budget to support them. Whatever you state here will not raise that budget or make you an international threat...you have to find a few issues and decide on them so that your budget will go up(in Defense). Then come back and show us your AFMD with pride.

For this evening, i doubt it that your non-existent army will be operational; in a few days perhaps you will do something.

By the way, 200.000 people in every area? From where? Who pays them? You have a lot of fantasy and i am sure you will succeed some day but what yu are trying to support here simply has no clues or evidence. Face the facts Miroxia.

OOC: In all fairness, it's a matter of how you RP. Using the calculators is a quick and easy way to do economic stuff. But, and quite a few people do this, you can take the time to design and use a budget and economic system, as well as culture, rights, politics, all that, completely independent of the NS page. These days I don't even check my NS page expect to keep it active, and I RP based entirely on the details in my factbook, which i put together using examples from other nations and several of the threads in the helpful stickies.
So generally speaking, the calculators are a nice way to go, but if you don't care for them you can completely avoid them and build your own, as long as you do it realistically. And that last thing is why most people avoid it, because creating a realistic budget on NS is hard to do for people who just don't care enough to do it.

Well, if you consider it deeply, a realistic way declares that a nation can say that it has a budget high enough to make an army of 200.000 people in all categories? In just one day? When apparently he has no budget at all in Defense?

I have been watching Miroxia the last few days and he is new and desperate to get involved in a war. After finding out that everybody supported what i am saying, that he has no budget in Defense, thereforew no army, he posted a topic and said he had a complete army in one day. Then i have the most powerful space army in the universe:mp5:!

Miroxia, my point is that there are a lot of other things in roleplay besides war. You should check the forums better:cool:.

OOC: Miroxia, if you have 200,000 people in each military catergory, that's nearly a fifth of your entire population! Usually around here on NS, we limit a nation's military to about 5% of the population, and that's only if the need is desperate. If the number if people in your military goes over that, your economy wouldn't be able to take the pressure. Also, after you get your however many percent military men/women, you need to take logistics into account, which accounts for generally 5/6 or 2/3 of your entire military, which means you really have about 1.67% of your population that can actually go to battle*.




* That calculation was made by assuming a 5% military to population ratio and 2 out of every 3 person in the military is logistics.

exactly i mean i have 1,000,000 in the armed forces, 500,000 in the Navy and 500,000 in the DAF (Datius Airforce) that's roughly 2% of the population of Datium...

ANd we, the nation of Datium wish to invest JNE 750,000 ($1,000,000) into the AFMD, but only if you allow the DAF place several Harrier's in warhouses of your coastal cities.

I would suggest NSDossier rather than Sunset as a viable economic calculator.
