A Most Deadly Plan [ATTN: Mandlorians]

It was going quite well. The Senate had voted for war with the CA, as expected since it was require under NPE law, and TPF, being one of the leaders, couldn't very well decline and sit back. Not to mention, the people had been extremely outraged at the whole business, especially the mandlorian people's betrayal, of which no coin was to be given for. The hundreds of thousands of protests had made sure of that, with millions of people screaming for revenge and victory. The Imperial General Staff had set to work with High Command most quickly on developing a multitude of battle plans. Knowing they were in for a hard, protracted war, the Imperial General Staff, or IGS, wanted to stay away from attrition wherever possible. Attrition was the killer of the Imperial Military, as a war of attrition was the exact opposite of the kind of warfare that the military was set up to deliver. The war, as IGS envisioned it, would be a series of quick and intense strikes, designed to incapacitate the enemy before his full forces could be mobilized. The IGS knew that they would spend weeks and months gathering intelligence from their myriad sources before setting a plan into action. Intelligence was key to the kind of warfare they would wage. After a few weeks of planning, Plan 08 had come out of High Command, and, after some adjustments, had been approved by the IGS. It was shockingly simple, yet shockingly deep. It would allow nearly all of the military to concentrate on other targets, and keep a minimum force to attack and defeat mandlorians. It called for a naval blockade of the nation, which would be simple, since it was in the NPE region, and this allowed for other member’s naval forces to support it if needed. Because of this, far fewer ships would be needed then normal. Once there, it would be up to naval aviation and missiles to do the rest. They would be loaded with napalm and pesticides, and the farmlands would be burnt, denying them food. Then, they would turn their attention to livestock, destroying it and the places they dwelled. With these two feats accomplished, it would be just a month before the artificial famine would hit, causing thousands, later hundreds of thousands, to begin dying daily. With these casualties, the government would be forced to surrender. If a little more persuasion would be required, the Plan also called for the destruction of mines and refineries, and then periodical bombs on resdenital neighborhoods, forcing the populace into fear. If they fled to bomb shelters, they could find them, too, and bomb them with bunker busters. There would be no escape for the starving people, and if the government refused to surrender on its own, then the people would make it.

OOC: So what exactly are you doing here? Declaring war on the CA or the Maldorians? Or are you just stating plans.

And, as a suggestion, line breaks are your friend.

International Waters
Deep under the ocean, a wolf-pack of submarines moved slowly and stealthily along. They made almost no noise as their silent engines propelled them along. They were still in international waters, but it wouldn't be much longer until the pack entered their enemies waters. The wolf-pack, known as Group Nine, was just a day ahead of the primary armada, which was traveling behind them. In order for the blockade to be as successful as it could be, they would need to destroy the Mandalore fleet, so they would not be able to counter-attack and break the blockade. While normally a bombing force would be sent to deliver anti-shipping missiles to destroy the enemy in dock, TPF did not know the extent of the island's anti-air defense, and they preferred to take no risk in finding out, since it was likely to be too heavy. Instead, the submarines would do their job.

A Few Hours Later

"Just another hour or so, sir." Said Montie Greenhold, who was first mate aboard the sub, named the TPFS Advantage he was tall, which wasn't good for someone who served aboard a submarine, and to make matters even worse, he had quite a bit of bulk to boot. However, he was one of the best in the business at running a submarine, having over thirty years aboard them. It had even cost him a marriage. This would be his last mission before the boat would return and he would finally take command of his own submarine.
"Alright. Thank you, Commander." Replied a gruff voice of Captain Winters, who lead the boat. Despite his gravely, rough voice and his intimidating presence, he was a nice man and had risen quickly through the ranks.
" Are we on course?"
" Yes sir, we are on course. Sonar indicates that the other submarines are also on course." The wolf-pack consisted of nine other submarines of the same class, which each carried sixteen heavy hypersonic anti-shipping missiles, which could take down even the heaviest and most armored ships in just a few hits. With the spy satellites above guiding them, the missiles would also be accurate to within a few feet, allowing them to hit the most venerable parts of the enemy. If their missile weren't enough, another identical wolf-pack was just a few hours behind, ready to come in if needed. They also carried another deadly surprise, the ETA3 torpedo. They would plant these after they left from striking, along the paths thats were likely to be taken by a responding fleet. Finally, each carried sixteen light torpedoes. While not designed to strike at heavier ships, they would do fine against destroyers and cruisers.

Aboard the TPFS Advantage
There was no sound inside the sub. Somebody could hear a pin drop. However, the sub was so noisy, sailors called it a deathtrap, but every bit of extra effort helped to avoid detection. Winters breathed in softly, staring at the console in front of him. Only a few more miles, and they could fire off their missiles, plant their torpedoes, and leave quickly. Closer...closer...closer..there. He made a series of hand gestures at the weapons operator. Nodding, the weapons operator began slowly and somewhat silently tapping on the keyboards, he opened the connection with the spy sat above, and it began sending the target information. They were targeting carriers and battleships. SD's would come later and so would the escorts. Carriers were the number one priority. Soon, the targeting information had been inputed in the missile's guidance systems. Winters got up slowly, and along with the first mate, inputed the authorization codes for launch. The operator pressed the firing key, a big red button, and they heard the missiles start to leave the tubes, all the other submarines were doing the same. After they were all launched, they submarines turned around at full speed, towards the area where they would lay the torpedoes.

OOC: We're already at war with the CA.

OOC: Oh? And where's the official declaration of such war? As far as I can tell you're just assaulting Toopoxican interests in Gallia, and the CA is helping to defend Toopoxia.

OOC: Who gives a shit if there is an official declaration? Most modern wars aren't even declared.

OOC: Is an official declaration even necessary? A war is a war. We're killing Corporate Alliance member state men, thus as far as I'm concerned, its a full scale war and is treated as such.
