IC:

The small escort group waited patiently for the arrival of the delegation group scheduled to arrive sometime that day. The vehicle's waiting the the arrival was from the Raven corporation. All of them having the infamous Raven symbol on the aide of the doors. Awaiting the arrival was the Grand master of the Rogutis Agentie himself. His lone dark figure was unmoving even for the past hour he had not moved.

For now they could only wait.

It was rather surprising, or in hindsight perhaps not so much, that the Secretariat would authorise this mission to meet the leader of the Rogutis Agentie.

Ever since the Technocracy had played a major part in the formation of the Free World Alliance it seemed there had been an explosion of activity, nay, new life, in the various directorates of the Technocracy.

In a nation where every last public servant was directly elected by the Populace and so held political office, to the mind of Deputy Director General Hathaway there had been an unseeming rush by many of his colleagues to try and make themselves a name in this new atmosphere of international relations.

In many ways therefore, Hathaway was atypical. Not because of his age, or gender, or education or any other factor. In a meritocracy these didn't matter. He was atypical for his lack of ambition.

Hathaway was a well respected official, a management man who understood engineering. His despatch to Willink to discuss weapon sales with a shadowy group he had never hear of before was therefore all the more suprising. He wondered how many young Turks he had pipped at the post to get such a mission.

With such a long flight to endure as the one from Etoile Arcture to Willink, it was perhaps just as well that he had something to occupy his mind with, and it was debatable whether inflight movies would be any less corrosive of the soul.

Of course, Hathaway had done more than simply brood in his seat. He had studied files on the Rogutis Agentie and their leader Aegies, and then after he had done that, he had tried to study the square-jawed young man and pretty, but not too pretty, young woman had been assigned to his delegation. Intelligence Directorate for sure, and perhaps the reason they had been allowed to go at all...

Twelve hours later the Airbus A380 carrying Hathaway and his little band of arms merchant adventurers touched down at Terra City International, and after the usual road block of a security screening at Immigration, Hathaway was leading his team of four across the tarmac outside towards the waiting Raven Corporation helicopter. And there he noticed him, dressed in a dark coat, the figure of Aegies waiting for them. "Deputy Director General Hathaway," he said, offering his hand to shake, and hoping it wouldn't be rejected.

Aegies watched as the people disembarked from the aircraft. A mottly looking group for the looks of them. They appeared tired and hungry from their long flight. As Hathaway approached him extending his hand out to hopefully meet Aegies' .

"Deputy Director General Hathaway," he said

Aegies looked at his hand, trying to bring himself to touch the others hand. Aegies is a very imposing person, for one to offer to touch his armored hand was a feat in itself, a feat Aegies could appreciate. Aegies Took the hand hand into his grasp, trying to restrain his hands full crushing strength as to not shatter the visitors bones.

"Deputy Director General Hathaway... It is a pleasure to meet you. I do hope the ride here was not to much for you to bare. The trip here is a long one. But I am afraid this is not the place of our meeting. I have arranged that the place of our meeting be under guard from my Agents. Please step into the chopper it will take you to a dock on the northern slopes of Willink. I will be awaiting you there." Said as he turned and got into his own chopper that bore his Guilds symbol.

After his chopper began to leave the Raven SF troopers in the area came out to assist the visitors with any luggage and to ensure a quick transfer. The Sf where in standard SF armor covered from head to toe and with all the bells and whistles. As the luggage was moved other Sf helped the visitors into the other chopper and closed the door. The Pilot was also an SF trooper and went through a checklist for the preflight and then took off. ( skipping ahead...)

As the other chopper arrived the visitors could see the layers of ice and snow.
The Place where the chopper started to land was a dock where a large wooden boat was awaiting them to board.

OOC: Apologies for the lateness in posting this, and tag for arrival at Raven Corp.

As Aegies returned so innocent a gesture, it took all the willpower Hathaway could muster not to snatch his hand back in horror as the man removed a armoured hand from beneath his coat. It was not so much the sensation of cold metal against his naked skin that scared him, but fear that the gauntlet would clamp down on his vulnerable flesh like a vise he would never be able to remove. And yet, in spite of appearances, Aegies' manner was as diplomatic and courteous as the most schooled member of the Diplomatic Directorate and the shaking of hands was over in a moment.

"Yes, thank you," Hathaway managed to respond in a state of shock as Aegies explained to him the travel arrangements with the Raven Corporation. Soon, the Deputy Director-General was seated again and back along his journey, this time in one of the helicopters. Dusk was bringing the veil of night over the sprawling megalopolis of Terra City revealing an arrangement of glittering lines and matrices of lights when seen from the port hole of the helicopter. Hathaway preferred to look outside. He didn't like the way his staff stared at him following the meeting on the tarmac.

The Raven SF pilot looked back to announce that they where arriving at the next transfer location. The SFs Voice was a cold as all the others. They sounded like drones.

The chopper then began to descend on to the landing pad where Aegies was awaiting them. The air so cold that it began to freeze the windows of the chopper.
