OOC: This is the info thread, and where characters can book flights on Calizorinstan Imperial Airways and such, it's a WIP. And also you can RP press reviews and such..

OOC2: Now that the merger has started, I am now rebranding Calizorinstan Imperial Airways to just Imperial Airways.

IC:

Imperial Airways first started up in 2003 with 5 ancient B707 airliners, starting routes from San Diego- Anchorage, and San Diego- Seattle, and others, and it gradually expanded to 25 second hand used, Airbus A300 passenger planes, and 20 Boeing 727-200, ex Continental birds, bought from Victorville boneyard, and they expanded to all over Calizorinstan. It has expanded into SaintB.

In 2007, it annouced a 45 plane order from Streamliner Aeronautic Company of 25 C570 (767 sized airplane) widebody airliners, and 20 C470LLR (737 sized) narrowbody airliners, to replace the A300 and B727 fleet, it has started a miles program called "Calipremium", joining with Calivisa, a credit card company, for customers to rack up "Calipermium" miles, by buying stuff with a "Calivisa" credit card.

In 2009, two years later, it merged with Arnold Air Ways/Service, thus increasing the fleet up, and the airplanes it obtained were sorely needed long haul airplanes.

Calizorinstan Imperial Airways merges with Arnold Air Service, adds a whopping 45 Boeing 787-800/900/10 airliners to it's fleet, adding also 34 737-700ER narrowbodys, and adds 65 MD-95/Boeing 717 airliners, thus adding 114 aircraft to it's fleet, it's final name is just simply "Imperial Airways".

The new livery was unveiled, a dark blue scheme (the aircraft in question is N787BA, a Boeing 787-800) with a black radome, with a red tail with a golden crown on it.

Imperial Airways is now the flagship of Calizorinstan, the government now pumping at least 120 billion into it, to offset it's losses from such a huge fleet.

EDIT: If somebody could make that livery I described on a 787, a 737, and a 717, I'd be very grateful, just TG me.

Because the position of Emperor of the Tartars in the Most Serene and Holy Tartary Empire of the Two Nations is currently vacant, Calizorinstan Imperial Airways will not be able to procure a royal mandate allowing them to propagate itself in Tartarystan.
