International Supercollider
Alfegos Ministry of Science
Recent advances in quantum physics theory has meant that a more powerful collider is needed than the current largest world ones. Such a project would have to be international, as it would cost about $9 billion to construct.
The nation is searching for suitable places on the planet for such a collider. It would be a linear collider, with a length of 36 miles and power levels much greater than ones at present.
Alfegos will of course support the project, and one of our corporations, the IME mining co., will sponser the project.
When applying your nation as a location, please give reasons why.

The Dominion of Strator offers a donation of $1.1 Billion on 3 conditions:
1) Stratorian scientists are allowed to work at the facility
2) All new discoveries must be brought to Strators ears ASAP
3) The facility must be maximum security
Strator also offers to be the host nation for the facility

We seek the contract for the international supercollider project, as a means of securing practical, real and valuable scientific advancements, in a field we have historically lagged in.
The Lyran Protectorate offers 11 billion to the project, and will provide all necessary land and security.
The Protectorate acknowledges and affirms Alfegos' intellectual property rights, although we would like to see results, if possible. We further asks that any military applications be discussed with Lyras, for possible joint venture development.

SAH is one of the most famous secret agencies in the world, since it has participated and succeeded in international wars, civil wars and has eliminated successfully other threats. It is good that there is international support for this project.
The ministry would like to point out that:
a) The research carried out here has no current military value.
b) A high security facilty is needed, but would be guarded by an International force.
c) The data produced at this facility will be sent to all participating states for analysis.
d) Scientists of all nations will be allowed the freedom to work here.
Once 8 candidates have been reached, an independant vote will be carried out for the nation that will host this project.

The Phoenix Milita wonders why Alfegos is still pushing for more support, when $12,150,000,000 has already been pledged, well above the $9,000,000,000 goal.

Neucom Incorporated is a corporation that focuses on the advancement of technology. We will gladly help fund this project and we will wire 3.2 billion USD Alfegos' Ministry of Science and send engineers to colaborate in the project. Also if allowed we can dispatch forces from the Neucom Emergency Unit to act as a security force for the Supercollider.

If it costs $9 billion and somebody's already put up $11 billion, why do you need more support?
Anyhow, Zwangzug has a longstanding commitment to scientific research, and would be honored to host such a project. Due to our economy, however, we could not provide financial support.
