Skym

The gloomy moon was the only source of light into the little room. A group of rebellious minds had been gathering for the last ten years, and finally the plan was about to be executed. The thirteen men raised their glass, a brown unrecognisable liquid swirled inside. A hollow voice sounded, "for the king” soon followed by a uncommon smile.
Around the castle in various city streets two dossins of innocent looking men had been sitting all day. Obvious a few of the guards had raised an eyebrow recommending there removal, however it is a unpopular fact that civil rights movement most often leads to people going where they want to go and stays were they feel like staying. So the guards left the idea of removing them and went on to their regular business, of not guarding the castle. The peace had lasted for more then fifty years so threat was not as imminent as it had just to be and surly his majesties royal guards had more interesting tasks at hand then there job.
The castle lay bathed in the strong lights of spotlights illuminating the facade of the castle. The inside was covered with darkness as the royal chamber had turned in at around eleven. However the light in the conferans room in the north corner castle could still be seen from the royal park. His majesty the king, the prime minister, minister of finance, minister of education and research were joined by the chef of the opposition to discus of national importance. In an ordinary matter these people would only see each other every Friday at eleven when the government held there official meeting with the king, and the chef of the opposition would sit back in her office grinding her teeth waiting for the next election. However the lack of results from the students of Skym was a deep concern for the king and an imbursement to the entire nation. The royal household had been ribbed from all real power more then hundred years ago and stood back as a shadow of a disabled monarchy. But still the king had a handful of vital powers. It was he who each forth year appointed the government, and he had the power to refuse any prim minister to take office. This had not been done since the second world war when the Nazi Germany had tried to form a puppet government in Skrym and few would take such a ruling by the king seriously, however at this point the king threatened the entire royal government with an immediately dismissal if the results did not improve.
The ministers were in shock and to only one who seemed to enjoy here self was the chief of opposition who sat back nodding agreeing to all that the king said and seemed more then willing to put inn any information that the king seemed to forget during his lecture.
Outside the group of men moved into position, six in the queens park south west of the castle, six in the royal park north east of the castle, another six form Abelhaugen south west of the castle and the last six for filling the two dossins of men moving into the castle that night came from Nisseberget to the south east of the castle. Moving slowly they soon positioned themselves around the castle, moving into the two doors on the front and the back. At ten past twelve four subdued gun shoots could be heard outside the castle and ten minutes later four bodies were dragged away into the darkness. As the rest of the group entered the doors of the royal castle.
OCC: Well more then a year has past since I last posted on this forum so I decided to start up with a new nation. Feel free to continue the story, or make post if you like it and/or hints for improvements. The castle is the royal castle of Norway and the story is supposed to have its offspring in the capital.
Yes I do know that it's not weary plausible that a armed force would attempt kill the royal family of Norway but honestly I find the plotline to interesting not to write about it.
