President Hasley stepped up to the stage. he was smiling, knowing he would change the world with this. he flicked on the microphones "fellow world leaders, i am here today to announce the founding of the World Peacekeeping Fleet, a multinational co-operation seeking members and donations. we hope to use this fleet to aid countries where society has broken down and the air reeks of starvation! we can stop this, once and for all!" the crowd cheered. as the President was leaving the stage, a man walked up to him "how do you hope to create this fleet?" he asked "through the hearts of billions" the president replied

Greetings from the W.P.F and the Imperial Democracy of Cazelia. as you may know, poverty has striken the world, and only we can stop it. people are dying and we have not done anything. we only ask you for either a donation or a couple of ships to aid our fledgling orginization.

OOC-peacekeeping forces fill only fire unless fired upon, yet Cazelian soldiers will acompanny them on some very dangerous missions

ICCD is currently involved in atleast one other peacekeeping force as well as a number of potential alliances that conduct "peacekeeping and charter missions". Since ICCD currently has a fleet off of Cazelia known informally as the convert fleet, it may be able to joint task those aircraft carriers, namely the renovated Nimitz's. ICCD is likewise willing to start production of a number of Ships in Cazelia in Dian Administered zones that can be put aside to assist in the peace keeping force. ICCD has one specific emergency situations medium aircraft carrier that was designed specifically for peace keeping operations a number of years ago. Due to an expansion of equipment used, including transport hovercrafts an updated version of this ship may be very useful for humanitarian and peacekeeping operations without requiring a war flagship such as a Xing. Likewise ICCD has a number of Old Missle Frigates being cycled out of use. These frigates are normally sold off to members of the Casa Militar for personal and non military usages including commercial activities and as retirement "yatchs". ICCD would be willing to put aside one of them every year for this peacekeeping force, provided there is voluntary staff from the Casa willing to take on the role of shipmasters. They will individually be required to keep the ship operational, perhaps as a small cargo and troop transport for a platoon perhaps, in addition to or exclusively carry supplies, and serving some coastal safety operations.

RE: Peacekeeper Fleet.


Our Commonwealth is interested in this idea. We will follow it carefully to see how it develops. As an independent state, our Commonwealth is interested in exploring joint ventures for peaceful purposes with many nations.

If the Peacekeeper Fleet and its operational policy is compatible with our values (human rights, humanitarian operations) and Good Neighbor foreign policy, we may wish to assign fleets which we will rotate every six months as is our policy.

We currently operate two humanitarian assistance "tasks forces" based around a hospital ship, fast transport with supplies and a small naval escort. Our Commonwealth would prefer to reach out to other peoples with compassion rather than missiles.

Besides, have you seen what missiles cost these days? :eek:
