The day was drawing to a close, as the sun had already nearly fully descended from the sky. In east the moon was raising with the red glow which symbolized the meeting of the pure blood order of the High Blood Inquisition. The group was made up of the descendents of the original High Blood Inquisition, which had a number of centuries ago been a leading force in the magic world before the sympathy for mixed bloods and non-magical born had emerged as a major force in the world. Despite the decline of their public presence they had became a largely private group which was based on the maintenance of pure blood through which were essentially arranged marriages between the most powerful of the pure blood families. Yet, after having been underground through so many years it h ad managed to spread as more families were either accepted into its ranks, or the existing ones either diverged or expanded their own families numbers.
Lord High Inquisitor Wallace Herrold had within the past few decades been slowly transforming the High Blood Inquisition back into a fighting force to resemble what it had once been hundreds of years ago. As such High Inquisitor Herrold had begun gathering an army of like minded witches and wizards that were set upon purifying the magical world from the influence of non-magics and to rid it of half breeds. Already, the High Blood Inquisition has gathered hundreds of wizards and witches to his cause, along with other witches and wizards, trolls, giants, vampires, orcs, banshees, and vast array of other creatures. The force is now one of the most powerful forces in the world and will possibly be able to overcome the whole of the magical wizard if it keeps growing at the rate it is for the next couple of years.
In the time being a council has been called of the High Blood Inquisition’s inner controlling circle of the Lord Inquisitors and High Inquistors who are made up of the hereditary lords who are descended from the old High Blood Inquisition.
OOC: Of course it is only for pure bloods of fanatical blood purity and this is designed in order to give an idea of what is going in the magical world and of how the characters families allegiance in the story. By the way every character pure blood fanatic family is allowed to be a High Inqusitor or Lord Inquistor to attend this meeting. To note student characters cannot go, as only their parents are old enough to attend.

Lord Gothas enters the council chambers and takes his seat at the table. "I believe we must first gain control of the Head of the Magical world, for once this is done and if we have the forces to back us up we might be able to take over the non-magical world, making them our slaves."

A figure loomed in the council chamber. Moving like a ghost, draped in black cloth, the bottom gliding just above the floor, graceful yet mysterious this specter moved round. Finally, it came into view, lite by the fire. It was a woman in her late thirties, early forties. Her face was still beautiful, with curly black hair and purple eyes, piercing and intense. She removed the hood from over her face and cast locks of hair back behind her ears. She flickered her eyes which observed everything carefully and without miss.
"Gothas" she uttered. Her tone was gentle yet sharp with authority and self-reliance. "Such high aspirations, perhaps too high" she added, with a tone of sarcasm. This woman was Beatrice Blackwater, mother to Kira Blackwater.
Many years ago, Beatrice left her old life behind in order to serve a higher power. She was once a moderate, preaching peace between the two sides. She even fell in love with a normal teacher and she bore a child, Kira. Behind her kind and gentle smile of those days, lay a force...evil perhaps. She belonged to a group of witches and wizzards who practiced and explored dark magic. After years of living amoungst normal people, all the while grooming her child to be taken into the circle of dark magic, her old skeletons caught up with her. She found herself at a cross, they threatened to kill her family if she did not return. Vengeful, she struggled to control her powers and fury over this outrage and decided to leave, faking her own death to her family so that she may return without their knowledge. Over those years, dark magic corrupted her soul and now she is little of what she once was.
"Enslaving normal humans? No, I have no use for slaves." she said as she glided around the room, moving in no particular direction. She dwelled more on the notion for a few seconds, it had its' appealing traits yet seemed impossible, even for the High Blood Inquisition.

A ma walked in, dressed entirely in a black garb. He threw his hood back and ran a hand through his hair. It was Kain Johanne, father of Rafzekael. He looked around. Only a few people...
"Do not underestimate the usefulness of slaves, Beatrice. If not for service or battle, they can always be used as bargaining chips... or used to send..." He pointed his wand at a rat in the corner and muttered "Cruciatus." As the rat writhed on the floor, he grinned and said "Messages."

Lord Gothas spoke again in his normal commanding tone saying "Great Lords it is in our Children we must invest and i believe it is there we must fight our first battle. I believe that my son would be thae best choice to lead this group in our foot step. Also I must speak of an important turn of events that could make our war much more easy, I have uncovered the Gothas Staff one of the most powerful items in our world. It can only be used by the Gothas that will lead our greatest purge and i believe that it is my son that will use it to destroy our enemies. The Gothas staff sucks the life out of people and uses there power to the users advange

Lord High Inquisitor Herrold listened and then said,” Lord Inquisitor Gothas, magical relics of ancient eras will not win a war of this scale, as even the greatest of artifacts and arcane devices cannot be the means by which we win such a war. As well, I have done my own research on the Gothas Staff and its power, though quite great is not such that the greater wizards and witches cannot overcome its user. The true measure of its strength is that of its user and if there is enough combined power to overcome him or that a wizard of superior power faces him he will be defeated.
Yet, I do concur we have to begin rallying more younger folk to our cause, with a base being made up of our own children to ensure the leadership of the new generations of the High Blood Inquisition is loyal to us and our cause.
I concur though we need to place one of our as the Head of the Magical World, yet which one of us should be placed there as the person would truly have to be a great wizard or witch to ensure that their place is secure? As well, which one of us will be able to keep their loyalty to our organization and cause a secret while they begin to turn the magical world to our cause?”

Lucius Voteporix replied in an eerily calm, glacial tone.
"Nominating your own children does little to nothing. Indeed, why should I entrust the future of the magical world to some brat merely on the word of a parent who insists that theirs is the best? No rational wizard or witch would dare do such a thing. In my country, we have a habit of selecting the one who is best suited to the task - not the one best connected. Let the children do as they will, and eventually one of them will be up to the task."

As well, Lord Inqusitor Voteporix whom do you think should be the one to take over the seat as Head of the Magical World if we were to 'replace' the current one?"

A smile curled on her lips upon watching the rat wither and die. She regained her composure and turned to Gothas.
"Truly a useful tool, these humans will be then" she conceeded. It was a valid point. They could be used in numerous ways. As the High Inquisitor spoke and the others debated, Beatrice remained silent, deep in thought. Who could lead the future? Who will be loyal?...her, perhaps. For the first time in some time, the thought of her daughter appeared in her mind. Years passed since she last held her daughter in her arms. It could be perfect, it could work. Kira loved her, and love will lure her into the Blood Inquisition.
"Kira" she uttered "She believes me to be murdered. To see her dear mother alive could serve our intrests. I could teach her our ways, yet keep her ignorant to our true purpose until she is ready. Kira always showed great passion for magic, especially dark magic." Beatrice entered the center of the room as she spoke. There were many possibilities with her daughter. Of course, there were also risks envolved. Naturally, there are always risks.

The words of the High Inquisitor were true. Pure blooded children would rise, a new generation fastly approached. Beatrice sat back down in her chair, her black fingernails gliding across the arm rests, deep in thought. Kira may not be pure blood...but she has something deep within her...something that can be quite useful. A million thoughts ran through her mind, due to her mastery of mental spells and charms, her mind was unreadable and thusly, all thoughts were safe. She began to pull the strings from which her daughter hung. She infused memories with the present, creating an image which drove Kira to begin thinking...thinking that her mother is still alive. It would take more than the life of her mother to bring her to her side. It would take a death...someone close to Kira...
"Who of the pure blooded children posess what qualities we seek?" she finally asked. "It may perhaps be too early and we must begin somewhere else in our pursuits." Beatrice ended.

Kain's grin dropped. "Anyone who is not loyal to our cause or is not pure-blooded cannot truly be expected to carry out their duties if they have friends of or feelings towards the same blood. They might falter when it came to the actual extermination. However, if they could be manipulated, they would need to be tested to prove their determination."

Inside Beatrice's mind...
Who does Kira cherish the most?...She already believes me murdered. There must be a way to thrust her everlasting towards the dark arts. My daughter already posesses the atributes to make one but is too timid to explore further. A look into her mind, though brief has given me quite alot of insight. Those image flashes were actually me peering into her mind. Her abilities grow with each day but still lacks the ability to protect her mind from probing. Patrick, her father. Could it be enough? No! Wait, there is someone else...a boy...I saw his face but the name escaped me, I had to break contact before she realized what was really happening. I will find out later and soon the time will come...

My Lord! How could you have been able to penetrate my mind?! No matter, now I must tell you. My lord, Kira can become a great asse, perhaps not the next leader but valuable nontheless. She has insider her a force which could make her a powerful dark witch. But she still resists giving in all together. A tragedy must befall her to change her course towards the dark arts and be unreverseable. She has feelings for a student, though she refuses to recognize these feelings. Perhaps we could use that to our advantage. With the proper guidance and teaching, she could very well become an ally in our cause. She could be kept ignorant to our true purposes until she is ready to to face the truth.
