"Aye, setting course."
On board the HMSS Muspelheim, the first super-capital ship in the Dersconi Stellar Navy (still in use, since it rawks), was preparing to go back to the dock station when they received a radio signal from command.
"Incoming vessels from the following coordinates. Go out and investigate." The Captain sighed.
"Change that. Set course for the following."
"Aye, setting course." The Muspelheim was currently stationed in a remote Dersconi colony, established due to the strange gravitational anomalies there. It was mostly a scientific research station, but there were...other reasons for establishing a colony there. And it was those reasons that Tsar Xavier had some of his...darker minions present, investigating certain moons and asteroids in the system that the regular scientists and explorers were not allowed to even ask about.

The Muspelheim, the 6.16km Superbattleship, as well as several Tsar Alexei-class cruisers and other escort ships, made their way to where it was estimated the vessels would arrive, and waited. They were ordered to keep them the hell out at all costs.
When the newcomer ships arrived, they found that the number was actually fairly small, and they weren't a military convoy -- more of an exploratory fleet, with a few military escorts.
The moment they appeared, the FTLi systems were activated and the Dersconi task force, headed by the HMSS Muspelheim, surrounded the new-coming fleet. In order to facilitate communications better, the Captain of the Muspelheim ordered the message be sent in Galactic Basic.
