Alright, here is the start of the real IC rping for the World of Magic Rp, but please do not make many responses directed towards me specifically as I cannot have any hopes of being able to reply to the dozens of posts that may well be made here everyday. Yet, feel free to chat with each other all you wants and if you any questions post them on the sign up thread.

As for the House locations here they are:

Draco: Northern Bastion

Dryad: Northwestern Curtain

Hippogriff: Eastern Tower

Leviathan: Southern Peel Tower

Nymph: Manor Near the Lake

Satyr: Western Halve of the Dungeons

Titan: Western Tower House

As for the entry to the house residences the entrances will only open for a member of that house due to a magical spell placed on all the entrances to them.

Rafzekael had left the hall a few minutes ago, and was now sitting in the Draco Common Room. He was sitting in a chair and was practicing levitating objects. He flicked his wand at one of his books and said, "Levo." The book levitated up in the air. He moved his wand away and the
book dropped.
"Heh."

"Tell me that isn't the extent of your abilities," Tiberius said to Rafzekael, a hint of derision and a splash of scorn colouring his voice. "Incendio!" he said, pointing his wand at the curtains adorning the windows. They promptly were immersed in a blueish flame. He peered at the flames intently, before extinguishing the flames with a flick of the wand and a mutter of aguamenti.

Rafzekael laughed. "Oh, it's not. Look." He walked out and pointed his wand at a young nymph. "Viscus Imperium Damnum!" The nymph suddenly stopped, then ran amazing fast towards the toilets. Rafzekael walked back in laughing.

"Now that is impressive, my good sir," Tiberius laughed. "Let's see if I can top that...hmm..."

As another Nymph walked by, Tiberius said, with a flick of the wand, "Cæsaceti!" The Nymph paused for a moment, then turned around and walked back towards Tiberius.

"Can I get you something, sir? Tea, coffee, et cetera? Perhaps I could grab you something from the kitchens?" the Nymph said.

Tiberius ignored the boy, saying to Rafzekael, "The Domination Charm. Works only on the weaker-minded. But useful when in dire need of a servant."

Arthur put a sign on the notice board outside the great hall

A new Dueling Club has now opened, it will be called the Serpents, to enter please write your name on this notice. This Deuling club will have a ranking system, but it is only for pure bloods

"Yeah, that would be useful. That Nymph's kind of annoying, eh?" He pointed his wand at the gabbling Nymph. "Lingua Obfirmo." The nymph suddenly looked like they had their teeth welded together.

"Ooh - ouch," Tiberius said in mock pity. "Poor little Nymph. I just don't think, though, that's gonna drive the point across." He pressed the wand up against the Nymph's forehead, muttering, Abuti Cognoscere. Inexplicably, the boy started to scream at the top of his lungs, writhing in pain. "He's a crazy one, this Nymph. Oh, oops - that was my spell. Makes him think he's being tortured to death."

OOC: Nope, you are the only one who is in Nymph, but still need to add it to your template.

OOC: I will, I am busy right know though, I'll get to it when I can..

IC:

Harry sat alone in his Nymph common room, he decided to go out and make some trouble, so he ventured outside and walked around..

"Ooh - ouch," Tiberius said in mock pity. "Poor little Nymph. I just don't think, though, that's gonna drive the point across." He pressed the wand up against the Nymph's forehead, muttering, Abuti Cognoscere. Inexplicably, the boy started to scream at the top of his lungs, writhing in pain. "He's a crazy one, this Nymph. Oh, oops - that was my spell. Makes him think he's being tortured to death."

Rafzekael smiled slightly. Over the screams and yells of the Nymph, he had to shout a bit to make himself heard. "Nice one. I don't reckon this dreg will be able to take much more, do you? Might break something." He sidestepped to avoid a flailing arm.

The Great Hall
Rei looked around the common room; there seemed to be a great number of people around from various houses she had already unpacked her things into her room; Rei liked to travel light mostly; a few pairs of pants, some tops and undies and she was happy. She shoved her hands into her camo pants the red T-shirt she arrived in coming down to just below her breasts exposing her midriff; Rei went to get some snacks out of a machine and spotted someone putting up a sign for the duelling club. She read the sign quickly rolling her eyes when she read the bit about 'pure bloods' and almost visibly laughed out loud. Some people were really petty about the blood thing; it honestly never bothered her She spotted a young man that looked like he might be fun to talk to so she walked up to Harry; snacks in hand; "Hey there" she said with a smile

(ooc: she dosn't know Who harry Is I just used the name for referance so people know who I'm talking to...)

Nicole left the Leviathan common room after setting her things down-she didn't want to stick around forever, rather looking for something interesting so she could get right into the thick of things. She stepped out from the door-only Leviathans accessing it-her wand in her pocket-as if she particularly was in need of it. Nicole's magic was much more about emotions-but she needed to control them, or else risk killing somebody before the end of the week. She had power, potential, for sure-but if not controlled, it could go over the edge to evil...

Harry smiled and said "Oh hello there, I am Harry Arnold, I am in Nymph, but I want to be in Levaitihan instead but I am stuck in Nymph, and I ticked off Kira the other day, so I wanted to apologize to her. But I am afraid she'll kill me if I do.."

Rafzekael smiled slightly. Over the screams and yells of the Nymph, he had to shout a bit to make himself heard. "Nice one. I don't reckon this dreg will be able to take much more, do you? Might break something." He sidestepped to avoid a flailing arm.

"Yeah; can't handle the pressure," Tiberius said has he lifted the spell, pushing the Nymph to the floor. "You, lowlife, get the fuck out of here." The Nymph scurried away in fear. Damn mixedbloods."

Rei chuckled to herself and held out her hand in greeting - "Rei" she said simply seeing no reason to declare herself and be defined by a house she simply omitted it; after all if he REALLY wanted to know he could simply ask and she would say. "Ok; who is this Kira and how did you manage to piss her off?" she said raising one eyebrow 'Spock style'

"and don't worry to much about the houses; I'm not even sure it really means anything; we're all individuals a PERSON is special; a house not so much" she said with a smile

He sidestepped to avoid a flailing arm.Seeing the group of kids using spells to screw around with Nymph students a leading Hippogriff prefect (OOC: Guess what we are using the British Boarding School System :p) came with his wand pointed out and shouted," Aufero Telum!" at Tiberius and then yelled again," Stupefactus!" at Rafzekael. Which he knew would disarm one and stun the other in such a way as to allow him to explain himself. After his spells were cast he said," You two do not torture the other students as I do not want my fellow pure blood expelled for giving these filthy half breeds and ignorant nons their just punishments."

After getting over the stun, he shook his head. "Arrgh, that's disorienting. I'm going to go have a look around, see you." He nodded to te prefect and walked down to the great hall. He looked at the notice board.
"Hmmm.... Dueling club..." He took out a pen and signed his signature on the sheet.

Rei chuckled to herself and held out her hand in greeting - "Rei" she said simply seeing no reason to declare herself and be defined by a house she simply omitted it; after all if he REALLY wanted to know he could simply ask and she would say. "Ok; who is this Kira and how did you manage to piss her off?" she said raising one eyebrow 'Spock style'

Harry smiled and said "Well, I accidently thought out loud that she's good looking, and she laughed and told me to go away, however I feel so guilty that I am willing to apologize to her, she has black hair I reckon and she's got lots of sarcasm in her too.., I won't worry too much about the houses, though Draco is full of jerks.."

Nic passed by the two from Draco, simply laughing. She was a good person on the inside, but she didn't like the weak of the world-and that was what the Nymphs embodied. She could have probaly stood up for them and let her emotions take over, but she didn't want to spill someone else's blood all over the floor the first day. The pure-bloods wouldn't like her, but she was attractive and strong-a good combination for the others who could overlook her being from an entirely non-magical lineage.

Harry smiled and said "Well, I accidently thought out loud that she's good looking, and she laughed and told me to go away, however I feel so guilty that I am willing to apologize to her, she has black hair I reckon and she's got lots of sarcasm in her too.., I won't worry too much about the houses, though Draco is full of jerks.."

John said "I am pureblood but I don't care?, hey Rei do you by any chance have any extra chocolate?" He looked hungry and then changed back to a happy expression..

"So am I; and it means very little to me" Rei said simply; "Honour, strength, loyalty, duty, courage these are words that mean something to me; far more important to me than blood purity. Those are the values my parents taught me", she said with an uncannily serious expression.

She fished into her pants and pulled out a spare bar of chocolate; "knock yourself out" she said smiling again and handing the boy a bar of chocolate. "I'm not sure when they feed us around here...man I make it sound like a prison don't I?" she laughed

Harry said as Rafzekael walked by "Lingua Obfirmo", pointing his wand at the boy's mouth, locking his tongue up and said "So there!, justice is served.."

Rei narrowed her eyes; at the boy that had just passed them; "Asshole" she said loud enough that he could probably hear her if he took an interest but she wasn't about to start a fight on her first day. After all terrifying the students here on her first day would not bode well mostly because Reis fights usually went down hard, fast and with a body count plus she liked this top it would be a shame to get blood on it. So she simply picked up the chocolate bar and handed it back to Harry. "Some people just don't have any manners"

Harry pointed his wand at Rafzekael and yelled "Confundo", and "Levo", and said to Rei "Follow me, I don't want that kid to attack me hard.." He walked off with Rei to a safer location..

Rei Shrugged and followed seeing no reason to get into a fight muttering an illusion spell with a wave of hand to herself Doppleganger as they rounded the corner causing an after image of herself and Harry to split off in a different direction. So that if the offensive little man decided to follow he'd be going completely the wrong way. "So where we off to?" she asked curiously

(OOC: Because Rafzekael comes from a long line of strong wizards, can he use non-verbal spells?)OOC: Nope, yet he can use the spell Jinx Amotio, without using words due to him already being at his age and as the spell is a fairly easy one to use and is low on the power level.

(OOC: Ok, thanks.)

IC: Inside his head, Raf yelled 'Jinx Amotio!' He dropped to floor and brushed a speck of dust off his shoulder. He looked around and in the outside corridor for the kid who had jinxed him. He couldn't see him. He sighed and sat back on one of the benches, took out a book and waited for another Draco to arrive.

As usual, Vex was taking his time getting to the common room after the book sorting. Before settling in he always liked to just walk around the school a bit, taking in the familiar sights and catching up with people he knew from the previous years at the school. Thus when he finally made it up the Titan's chambers, most people had already unpacked and were either lounging around or getting ready to go down stairs gain.

The door swung open for him as he uttered the new semester's password and then closed again after he stepped through into the comfortable setting of the common room. On his way to stairs to the boy's rooms, Vex found himself staring at one of the most unique and hot looking girls he knew. Rei was sixteen like Vex, but he had never found the nerve to really talk to her. She was very "developed," making it hard to believe she was only sixteen years old. Obviously, her present state had taken him in more than usual after the summer break as he walked straight into one of the common chairs and knocked it halfway to the stairs.

A moment later, with one catastrophe under his belt already, he had reset the chair and gone up to his room to unload his trunk. Coming from his relatively poor and immaterial background, Vex had few personal items in his trunk other than clothes, robes, and school supplies (books, parchments, quills); four to be exact: his prized wand that never left his side, his all-purpose pocket knife, his expanding chess set, and his mostly-standard guitar that magically fit into a case the size of a person's hand.

Needless to say, unpacking took only a moment and soon he returned to the common room to relax. Finding a seat that was both near the door and the fire, Vex settled in for a new year at school...

Rei shrugged; "You should be careful; there are lots of powerful wizards here who would take offence at being hexed on there first day" she said poking out here tongue.

"Telepathy Eh?" Rei said simply "and what Pra-tell does your gifts say about my mind?" she smirked.

Serros watched quite the event was going on not to far from the entry to Leviathan house and decieded it was time to try doing something to make him self known. After Rei and Harry rounded a corner he said "Come on now people a droped chocolate bar is nothing to get up in arms about, next time come to me we will just talk it out over some rum."

OOC: Who the heck is John?; OOC@DMG: Will have a look now...

Rei shrugged; "You should be careful; there are lots of powerful wizards here who would take offence at being hexed on there first day" she said poking out here tongue.

"Telepathy Eh?" Rei said simply "and what Pra-tell does your gifts say about my mind?" she smirked.

Harry nodded but said "What if I am a powerful wizard though, I can sense that you think that I am cool, and that little man is an idiot!" He smirked in return and grinned at Rei..

Rafzekael suddenly sat bolt upright and grinned maliciously. He stood up and began to wander around. If he bumped into Harry, great. If not, he'd find someone else and scare the crap out of them.

Rei laughed out loud and had a look of sheer amusement on her face it had been quite some time since someone made her laugh like that. She had to admit that was quite impressive if of itself she nodded after getting lost in her own thoughts for a moment "Yes I am not fond of the offensive little man" she nodded in agreement.

"Being a peaceful wizard is fine; there is absolutely no dishonour in being a pacifist but think about it; money is just worthless paper unless its backed up with something; I believe freedom is just a pretty idea unless its backed by force. Freedom isn't free; people have fought and died for it - Protected are those that walk in the light; by those that fight in the shadows and hold the line against the darkness" she said. "Being a powerful wizard isn't in of itself a reason to provoke trouble; it will just get you a body bag my view is simple; never start a fight but always finish it" she said with a nod.

"And I think your alight Kiddo" she smiled and raised a curious look as she heard the commotion from upstairs as a chair damn tear tumbled down the steps near here from her common room. "Ok that was different…I'll be right back…got to see what that was about" she said with a nod. Picking up the chair she took out a long oak wand as she climbed the staircase waving it at the common room stature that stood guard and muttering the new password she entered as the door slid open. She brought the chair back into the room and put down.

"House Titan missing a chair?" she asked

Nic had been wandering about to get her bearings, before returning to the Leviathan common house, in time to see Serros talking to Rei and Harry about something or other...the latter two seeming more flustered than Serros did. She wasn't sure about either Harry or Rei (OOC Note: I'm just using names for reference, she technically hasn't met any of y'all yet), but the other seemed a decent sort off of first looks...but she'd been wrong before.

Rafzekael stormed about looking for Harry. He suddenly spotted him and dased after him. He caught up with him, pointed his wand at him and yelled, Infligo Sicco!When Harry didn't seem to be affected at all, Rafzekael went over and punched him in the head. His hand went straight through. "Damn illusions." He walked off in the other direction, still livid.

Vex looked towards the door as he heard it swing open and a familiar voice calling, "House Titan missing a chair?"

Quickly leaping from his seat to face the girl who had retrieved the chair, Vex confirmed it was from the intimidating figure of Rei. "Oh, hey Rei... err yeah, thanks." Trying to think of an explanation, he merely mused, "Must've been hit with a walking jinx..."

He reached forward to take the chair from her and put it back to where he had knocked it over earlier.

Harry found a closet across from the stairs that Rei ascended, and hid in it, and muttered "Obfirmo", and anybody that attempted to enter would have trouble, and it would alert him enough to prepare a jinx against the intruder, he heard Rafzekael walking past the closet door, looking around, and continuing on past the closet and walking down the hall...

Dante began walking throughout the empty, ornate ,halls, thinking,
"Were is everyone?"

Rafzekael put his wand to his ear. "Audio." He could hear breathing near by... he aimed his wand at a closet, being the only thing capable of hiding in, and said "Levo! Infirmo!" Then he back away slightly and said, "Veneficus Obex!" He smirked and walked away. There might not be anyone in there, but it did wonders for his blood pressure. He started laughing.

"That actually might have been amusing to see if not for the fact he could get hurt; I kind of think he's alright if a little rash" she sighed thinking about the boy she'd just met and his actions towards the offensive little man. "We've never really chatted before have we?" she said quickly.

"Your Vex right? I've seen you around" she nodded with a smile trying to be friendly. she heard the commotion of something shaking violently; "what the heck is that.."

Dante watched this "fight" with amusement, but held his wand at ready with the safety off, just in case. Actually wands do not have safety, that was a thing Dante noticed was different from the FAMAS carbine he was used to firing.

Harry broke open the door, when he was sure that Rafzekael had gone, and he put it back on the hinges and saw Dante and said "Hello, I am Harry Arnold, I was just hiding from a boy that I hexed in my anger earlier, I've calmed down but he's looking for me.."

"Well, I wouldn't imagine that a chair would be very agile walking down stairs... so tumbling would be a good guess," Vex responded calmly as he imagined a chair growing feet and trying to walk down the stairs delicately before just tripping and clanging the whole way down.

"Harry?" he echoed, wondering who this kid was. He didn't know of any Harry - wasn't exactly a common or famous name around there.

"Yeah, Vex'til actually, but for some reason people find it easier to just call me Vex." Think for a moment, he continued with mock concern followed by a slight smile, "I hope people don't find me vexing... don't know why they would."

"I've s-se-en you a-around too," Vex said, doing his best not to choke on his words. "I think we had a couple of classes together a couple years ago. Magical History was one I thin-" He cut himself short when Rei and a loud noise interrupted. "Dunno, could check it out 'suppose."

Nicole noticed Harry talking to Dante-and had heard him bitching about wanting to get into Leviathan earlier, rather than Nymph.

"Than take him face-to-face," she said, words bigger than her farirer looks, though she could back them up. "Prove you're the stronger one. Make him back down-I saw a couple from Draco hitting on Nymphs earlier. Why don't you prove your house is able to hold your own against them?

Harry broke open the door, when he was sure that Rafzekael had gone, and he put it back on the hinges and saw Dante and said "Hello, I am Harry Arnold, I was just hiding from a boy that I hexed in my anger earlier, I've calmed down but he's looking for me.."

Rei nodded; "yeah; Harry…Arnold I think he said his name was; don't know much about him really but he provoked one of the Draco's" she sighed. "You know what they're like and I don't want to get a body count on my first day so I'm trying not to cause any fights" she added.

Rei laughed and nodded "I doubt anyone would find your Vexing" she said with a smile; "yeah Magical History and most of the mandatory classes I was a lot smaller back then, Summer really filled me out" she said with a mock grin.

This time she knew she heard something; "I Hope Harry is ok…We should go check on him" she said with concern for her new friend as she started towards the door hoping that Vex would follow

Nic turned towards Rafzekael as he fired several jinxes at Harry. She felt anger rising-but not enough to get violent, yet. Raf's luck there-the girl she had fought with when she had discovered her ability hadn't been so lucky, and had spent quite some time in the ICU...
Raf would obviously need some watching, but if he was one of the sorts who had only known magic from the entire time like it seemed some of these kids were, Nic would already have the upper hand from being in modern culture from her birth-and being, in that regard, far more tech-savvy and able to go outside the box.

Tiberius had been spending the past hour or so absentmindedly strolling around campus. It was a lovely place, even he would have to admit it, but the flagrant disregard for blood purity was disgusting. So many undeserving people in attendence, and so many to squash like the sub-human bugs they were. He had been hearing about somebody named "Harry Arnold", some moron from Calizorinstan or something who was out to 'prove himself' or some such tripe. Tiberius half-hoped he would run into the fellow, if only to embarrass the Nymph. He expected that Harry would live up to the name of his house, and cower in fear like the girl he was.

After recovering from the hit's that Rafzekael did,he ran along the hallway and saw Rafzekael looking around, and Rafzekael saw Harry, but not before Harry raised his wand and pointed it at Rafzekael and roared "Infligo Sicco", and he saw Rafzekael fall over and he roared "Conicio Inimicus", to throw his body against the wall and he sneered at him and said "Hah, you filthy pure blood fanatic!"

Faistian entered the halls of the school in his red robes. He was niether happy nor sad, but for some unknown reason he was excited that he had finally reached the school. The school had been in his memory since the day he had been born and the walls, sights, and sounds seemed to come naturally to him as he began walking down the halls looking for something that could be interesting to him. Nothing yet-- however he heard something in the distance, he could feel magic pulsing through the air in pure rage. He decided to investigate.


Upon discovery of a rather beaten door, Faistian began searching for those who had been inside the door and the one who had cast the spell. The spells radiated anger. He had no idea if the one who did this was from the same house as Faistian, which was Draco, but getting in a fight on the very first day wasen't the most intelligent thing in history books.

As Harry left to go pursue Raf, Nic turned to Dante: "He'll get himself killed with that kind of confidence. Let's go back him up...or at least rescue him."

She winked to Dante, than ran off after Harry.

"Body count, you say?" Vex said with a half-smile, hoping she wasn't serious about that. "I guess I'll have to figure out how to stay on your good side... wouldn't want be a tally in that number." She can't be serious; people don't die here...

Vex coughed considerably, seeming to choke on the apple he was noshing on as he heard the end of Rei's sentence. "Uhh... yes... err... you certainly g-grew up."

He was almost glad to hear that Harry was getting a beating at that moment. Vex was not a violent person by nature - far from it in fact - but the noises of a disturbance in the corridors got him out of a potentially unnerving and awkward situation. Thank you god... he thought while following behind Rei.

Raf pointed his wand at Harry and roared "Clausus Alica!" around the same time Harry said 'Infligo Sicco'. Raf waggled his finger. "Nope. Sorry. I be kind and finish it, but you have to go on." He pointed his wand. "I'm going to walk away now and if you try to jinx me again I'll be forced to use a curse on you. You don't want that." He turned and walked away again.

"I saw some just doing it for fun earlier," she said as she caught up to where Harry had just knocked back Raf, "I'm going to guess so. I'm no better at this than you are."

She held fast as she waited for Raf to get up and try something else-but felt her own emotion starting to move out of hand.

Raf pointed his wand at Harry and roared "Clausus Alica!" around the same time Harry said 'Infligo Sicco'. Raf waggled his finger. "Nope. Sorry. I be kind and finish it, but you have to go on." Rei turned up; watching the last of the exchange; "Lux Navitas Conicio!" she said raising her wand to the ceiling as a powerful lighning bolt emited from the end of her owk wand striking with great force and making a loud thunderous bang.

"what is going on here?" she yelled; her eyes darkly angry from there usual playul ness; Rei was not one to be trifled with; "Jinx Repello!" she yelled sending Raf's curse right back at him

Nic walked off behind Harry, but kept Raf in the corner of her eye. She was getting slightly flustered-and Raf was driving it. She could have helped out to knock him down, but she didn't want to flex just yet-unless Raf lived up to his word and tried a curse.

Dane kept on following them and said to Raf,
"I'm just with them. I wanted to see this only just for the laughs, man."

"Zikr," he said, and Tiberius laughed as the Worship Charm worked its magic, forcing the stupid Nymph to kowtow before him.

Harry repelled Tibierius's spells easily with a flick of his wand and "Ostendo sum Alicia, Vomic COntego" and said "Hah, take that baby boy!, I hate Draco's by nature, you pure blood fanatics, and when Tibeirus didn't look "Aufero Telum, Punctum!"

She backed up after firing her own burst of emotion, still brimming over: "Well, it makes me respect you a whole lot more," she smiled to Harry, trying to keep herself under control. As much as she revelled in adrenaline, she wasn't a bad student, nor a rabble-rouser-it came naturally.

The Defensive Magics Teacher heard the fighting in the hall way and simply sent two Aufero Telum spells hurling at the fighting students. Then he just kept walking hoping that broke it up.

Harry snarled "I hate you, and I hope you rot in your grave!, I do get everything you're telling me! "Ostendo sum Alica, Trinius, Infligo Siccio Trinius!"

Since Tiberius wasn't planning on turning his back on the mudblood scum, he quickly saw and dodged Harry's pathetic spells. "Paro Aflame," he shouted as he pointed his wand at the Nymph.

Nic lost it again, sending up a vortex of air to stand between Harry and Raf.

"You need a damn time out, bitch!" she said to Raf. "Take your shit back to your own house and leave him alone!"

She didn't know if the magical people would understand the curse words, but she certainly did...

"Jinx Repello!Jinx Repello! If you did get it, then you would be fleeing by now. Caecus! Cruciatus!"

Harry retorted "Hah!, I'll back down now, but I fought, I fought, and didn't run that was the best thing!, I attempted to hold my ground, and I fought hah, no matter what you say."

Harry said to Nic "Thanks Nic, you saved me from certain death!, sorry about that, I shouldn't have tried to fight Raf, but I got pure anger in me.."

Following instinctively behind the enchanting Rei and lost in thought, Vex was one of the last people to arrive and understand what was going on in the growing situation.

Only hours into the new school year, one hell of a fight had broken loose for god knows what reason. Probably something stupid - some insult or err - that had grown into the conflict before them. With the teachers busy helping the new kids get acquainted, the fight had been able to escalate to the point where several spells were flying through the corridor at the same time.

While not a pacifist per se, Vex was generally not one to get involved... but this was just getting plain stupid. From behind the group, he raised his arm and wand so that it jutted forward and cried out, "ENCONTEGO!". He had experimented the last couple years with creating his own spells - or at least he though they were his own - not a simple task by any measure - and this had proven to be a particularly useful one.

Within a split second, a shield would form in the corridor and expand to every corner and wall. However, unlike contego, this shield had several unique properties: it blocked off the entire hallway, it would remain for some time, and it allowed neither spells nor matter such as people through. It appeared between the two warring sides and would undoubtedly put a stop to it all when they realized their spells and bodies simply bounced off.

Afterwards, he stuffed his wand away and waited... luckily, just moments after, a teacher appeared to break it all up and soon his shield would disappear.

Rei muttered to herself "Happy place…. Going to my happy place" she said to herself; "I will not break people on my first day, I will not break people on my first day" she repeated to herself over and over again like a mantra to keep herself under control and from frying both of the pure bloods with a bolt of lightning. She closed her eyes and when she opened them again here eyes were filled with what could only be discribed as pure unadultarted rage her eyes blood Red; Rei stood next to Nic with her wand raised.

"Leave" she commanded her voice echoing like a spectral lion talking to its somewhat pathetic shade of a sun as she addressed Raf.

Serros had returned to his room to grap his gutiar which he had a spell of co-oporation cast on for he had a feeling that something was about to happen that can't be solved with rum alone. When got to to the hallway he found a fight was quite under way so he sat down and strumed a note and sang a few words then sturmed another not and sang some more repeating till he got everyone's attention.

He saw Harry running and yelled, "Parting gift! Artus Infirmo!Crur Obfirmo! Vomica Erumpo! Viscus Imperium Damnum!", pointing the wand at him and Nic in turn. The spells bounced off a shield. "Look at them run!" He cracked his knuckles. "Well, that was fun. I'm thirsty."

Harry walked over to Rei and said pointing his wand at Raf "Ostendo Sum Alica", and then ducking the rest of the hex's, and when he and Rei walked a bit further said "Sorry about that, thought Raf deserved to be fought, to show people that I would not tolerate the common misconception that Nymph is weak, and that I am a lion!, I am so sorry Rei.."

"God", Dante said, "in a sick way I'm starting to like this place."

People seemed to be panting, cut, injured, and in all sorts of chaos, but Vex stood cooly and calmly leaning against the wall like he was waiting for the train to come.

"I need to burn off my magic or I'll end up killing someone" she said genuinely concerned her magic was going to run out of her control and hurt people. Rei was just barely in control of her own power now and no one else seemed to notice.

Dante walked up to him and said,
"Hey, we should have an organized fights, like magical boxing, you in?"

"Yeah. Regardless of what house you are *even if it IS a weaker lesser house in your case* it's always good to keep your curses up to date."

As Nic heard Harry apologizing to Rei for the fight, she nearly broke down.

"Harry, don't take it on you," she said, "I provoked it. I egged you on to take him. That's my fault it happened. I'm sorry."

Harry said calmly "It's okay Nicole, I shouldn't have done it, ah well, I guess don't egg me on to take him, I almost died, I don't care if he calls me weak, I am the opposite I think, and if I ignore him, I won't be bothered anymore.."

As everyone seemed to be cooling down from the tussle and chatting about whose fault this was, all attempting to take the blame themselves, Vex pulled his wand from his pocket and began playing around.

Some spells were deadly, some were helpful, and others were just fun.

Whispering "Luminovis" to himself inaudibly, Vex began toying around with some spells he had either created, remembered from an earlier time, or linked together to produce a new result. At first the tip of his wand merely glowed like it was a standard "luminos" spell, but then it began changing colors and soon it began crackling like a light thunder and sparking. Only seconds later, after a brief light show, a somewhat louder crack and flash of light echoed off the walls. With the light gone and sound dying, all that was left was a tiny flock of five doves flying gently around the corridor.

Rei's eyes got progressively redder and redder until even the normal white of her eye was crimson red sparks started to come off her body arcing against the shield that Vex had put up gradually increasing in strength and power. The air took on an electrical smell like you get just before a massive thunderstorm. Rei's powers ran away from her like a runaway freight train ferociously striking the shield as a mini thunderstorm in a bottle was unleashed will full fury.

The dark blue bolts of electrical energy arcing off her body were sparking all over the place she hoped for whomever she held dear that they group stayed back and especially did NOT try to touch her or they would almost certainly die as Rei quite literally blew a fuse.

It lasted for a matter of moments and then dissipated; electrical energy still visible travelling through her body to ground unforuntately the poor doves caught the brunt of Rei's light show dropping to earth a charred mass. Rei dropped to her knee's panting her power now back under her control.

"Better than an orgasm" she said with a smirk finnaly herself again; she looked up; "is everyone ok?"

Despite what Harry had said, Nicole still knew the blame was on her-after all, she had told him to go and prove himself if he wanted to stand out from Nymph's class of the weaker individuals. Now Harry was going to become a household name on the first day of school as a fighter-because of her push. With the emotions running high from the fight, the emotional drain she now experienced-the loosening of the walls that had contained it-made her tired, sapping energy.

"Better than an orgasm. Is everyone okay?" He heard her ask after watching her electrocute the hallway.

Normally the former part of her speech would have made him uncomfortable at best and speechless without a doubt, but seeing someone exude electricity to such a degree was not a normal occurrence.

"Are you kidding me!?" He nearly screamed in half-astonishment, half-surprise, and half-wittiness. "No, everyone is not o-kay!" He continued, separating the syllables of "okay" distinctly. "You just fried my birds." Looking down upon the charred masses that lay on the ground, it was hard to tell that they had once been living, breathing, and flying beings.

After a performance like that, Vex was a little scared that Rei was actually serious in her comment before about a body count. It seemed that she wasn't always in control of herself... a potentially explosive problem.

"Sorry" she said in that cute way that only 16-year old girls can do as she leant forward slightly to put her breasts out more as a distraction than anything else.

"I told you to give me something big to do; you didn't listen" she said is such a matter of fact voice that no one would dare question her.

"Who's up for Taco's?" she said as her stomach rumbled looking around the assembled group of people.

Ooh... she is no fool, Vex thought as she saw Rei apologizing in a most alluring and entrancing way - the kind of way that made her seem all innocent and sweet and more importantly, the kind of way that you couldn't respond with any anger to. She certainly knows what she is doing. He found himself just shaking his head.

"You did no-" Vex cut himself off as it had just registered that her tone had changed from a sweet, innocent young girl to someone who you wouldn't dare question for fear of inciting her ire. He merely gave up the argument before it even began; there would be no use in continuing. And though he heard nothing, it was very possible that she had said just that, but that he was too involved in playing with his wand to hear anything. It'd be a no-win argument on either side, but somehow he knew that Rei would end up winning it anyway - he was never much of an arguer in this sense.

"Tacos?" Didn't seem like a food he would like, but he'd follow her anyway - even despite Harry seeming a bit too enthusiastic to come along. Isn't he like... at least two years behind us? Already he wasn't one of Vex's favorite kids.

Dante walked into the Dryad common room. Nobody's there, good. The fire was roaring when Dante decided to work out, even though hewas on study, he was still in th Army, and he had to keep in shape.

He laid down on the floor, and bagan doing push-ups.

Harry sensed that Vex didn't like him, from his mind reading, so he said "Ah, Vex, you say that I shouldn't come and get Taco's?, come on, I nearly died, and that's what you give me?, don't forget I can read minds, albeit limited, don't try to hide anything.."

Rei held up one finger on Harry and turned her seldom used serious voice on him; "no more fighting; there has been enough angry fights here today" she said simply draping an arm over Vex's shoulder. Which she actually could being over six foot in height she was a tall girl and Vex was no short boy either. "Lets all be friends" she said back in her pleasant voice.

"Taco's, Pizza or Chinese?" She asked the group. "My treat; I'll buy" she said off hand.

~ Elario stepped into the massive dining hall, where some of the students had began to gather for an early meal. He hadn't met anyone of interest to him yet, and indeed, he didn't exactly fit in: he was a half-blood, a late-comer, and yet, he still had a grasp of magic that was beyond some of the other students at his level.

The Academy was unlike anything he had ever seen: all he had ever known was the non-magical world, and he had seen some pretty impressive things there, but this was simply incredible. The architecture, the pure power radiating from the walls and people ... it was a feeling that couldn't be described, and one that was taking Elario Arcano some time to get used to. And yet, even for all of the smiling faces and friendly attitudes, he also knew of the sneers and malice directed towards him. Already, Elario had gotten into a bit of a scuffle with someone who called himself " Pure," which the Half-Blood had meant to mean that he had an all-magical background.

Barely in the building, and already he had made enemies ...

Still, he thought, it would be nice to have some type of contact around here ...

He made his way over to the Titan table, and took a seat, spying out at the masses before him, looking for anything, or anyone, who could catch his eye.~

Harry snarled and said "I don't need your opinion punk, if I'd have died, it would've been the way I wanted fighting!, I am tired of being the Nymph, I wish I could've gone to a Dark Arts School!" His face looked like an evil wizard for a moment and then said softening "I'll have Chinese, sorry Vex for my outburst, you could just kill me and save the trouble.." He looked downcast, nobody would feel sorry for him he thought as he got up and walked over to Vex to apologize..

At the mention of his homeland's culinary style, Elario's ears could not help but perk up. Turning towards where it was coming from, he saw a trio debating about what to eat. Salivating at the thought of pasta, meatballs, sausage, eggplant, and so on, he couldn't control himself.

Deciding to go and introduce himself in the hopes of actually getting to sit down to a plate of pasta, meatballs, sausage, eggplant, and so on, he strode casually over towards the group, letting them notice him before he interjected in. In a calm, controlled manner, he queried,

While everyone else had been going to the commonrooms, he had a loose bladder-a trip to the bathrooms had gotten him hopelessly lost. That was the way it was with Hayai; He could walk hours in any particular direction, not realizing that he was straying farther and farther from his destination. He had eventually managed to make it to the Titan commonroom and dispose of his things before promtly getting lost again. Seeing how massive this school was, Hayai was beginning to wonder if he would starve to death before finding food.

He took a quick look at the morsels in front of him before deciding on his meal. Still not taking his hands out of his pockets, he wispered a spell under his breath-"Levo..."-and various pecies of food floated onto a nearby tray, which then began to float itself. He turned and found an empty chair at the far end of the Titan table, away from most other people.

Once again, the "fish-out-of-water" feeling enveloped him, but one would never know it from the waves of confidence that eminated from him. Still, he knew he would probably be mocked for his answer: almost 17 years old, and he had just joined the school. Nevertheless, it was merely another hoop he had to jump through before he could gain some respect around the school.

He held out his hand kindly as he continued, " Vex, eh? I'm Elario, but a lot of people back home just call me 'Rio for short."~

"Kinda hungry now.", Dante then walked to the dining hall and then sat in the Dryad table.

Out of pure boredom, Hayai decided to do some research on his fellow students-by eavesdropping on them. He listened to the Draco table for a little while; they were pratteling on about blood superiority and how rich their fathers were. Arrogant little bugs. Hayai usually never started confrontations unless it was necsasary, but he wouldn't mind getting his hands on a few Draco members to teach them a lesson.

Most of these students seemed utterly boring. Suddenly, a rather strange comment was dropped nearby; Hayai's head snapped up and focused on a rather diverse group of charachters at one of the tables.

Nic walked into the room somewhat after the others-she had gone back to the Leviathan commons before coming down for the meal. She took a seat near Harry, Rei, and Vex. She'd just half blown up a hallway with Rei and Harry; she figured maybe she was on to a better relation here.

Harry wiped his brow as he started eating and said "Who knew that I'd be foolish enough to start a fight!, that's taught me for a while, you won't see me starting any more." He said in slightly humored tone..

Part of the reason she was trying to avoid the topic was it still weighing on her conscience. True, it had been fun-and if it had just been her, she would've been fine with it. However, she didn't want to get others involved in getting off to bad starts and possibly getting into deeper trouble-and Harry seemed like one of these loose people who could easily venture off the deep end.

"No, any good? But The Lodger is great, Hitchcock's second movie. . . the first one is lost so I guess that it is his first in a way.", Dante said.

Arthur walked into the Draco common room and said "sorry i am late, i am Arthur Gothas."

Rei looked on with great interest as everyone talked amongst themselves; until Harry mentioned Dark Magic books. "Dark Magic is not something to be trifled with Harry. The darkness is an entity in of itself and it takes an exceptionally strong will to use dark magic and not be tempted by its allure or power"; she said in a voice that oozed experience as if she knew intimately the pitfalls of dark magic.

"Darkness is the truest form of freedom; the total absence of limits and barriers; no rules but your own but it comes with a price; it lures and tempts with power but it will consume your soul and use your body like a marionette. Because the darkness has a will of its own and surrounding yourself to it; surrenders your own free will and you become nothing but a slave"; Rei explained. "We always have a choice harry; even if we don't always see one; sometimes all we have are horrible choices but choices non the less" she added.

There was a brief look in her eye for only a moment that seemed to change her demeanour to someone much older than her years; someone who had seen far to much in there lives and grown up a long time ago. However only for a moment and it was gone some might even question if it had been there at all.

She turned to Nicole; "Yeah" she said with a smile; "but don't worry too much about it; least you didn't blow up the corridor" she said poking out her tongue rather flirty. "Besides the Draco's aren’t going to admit that a first year Nymph held them to a draw; they're all a bunch of spoilt rich kids who put far to much weight on the whole blood purity thing" she added with a shrug.

Harry himself was a bit of conundrum to Rei as a Nymph he was supposed to favour kindness, nature, purity of the heart, and peace of mind. Nymphs never took direct action in the face of adversity and preferred to use subtle action against their foes. Rei had a slight personal dislike for the House of Nymph because to her the sneak attack was the first resort of the coward; as a Titan she would fight any enemy to the death but with honour; declaring her intent and fighting with all her strength. Harry seemed to be one of the first few Nymphs to break the mould; capable of great things surely but certainly in danger of going array; quick to anger and lacking control he could easily swing to the wrong side of things. She'd have to keep him on the straight and narrow…so that he would not repeat her mistakes.

Rei waved a hand over the 'Meat and potatoes' that had been served to her during the convocation and her inner musings. Tapped her wand on the plate and sending a brief spark of magic at the meal with a muttering of "Glamorous Incanti" it changed from Meat and potatoes to Spaghetti Bolonaise and she started to eat. In actual effect the meal never changed it was just a Glamour spell something inherited from her mother. Glamours fooled the senses into seeing something that wasn't like an illusion but more real where Illusions just fooled the eyes Glamour spells fooled all five senses even taste when one was as practised with them as Rei but that took years of training to accomplish Mostly because Glamours were more than about magic they were about mental control too and it was something you had to be disciplined to do; The Transfiguration class also helped. Thus she ate her Italian food as she Glamoured Vex's into a nice Lesignia for him.

"I guess I wouldn't fit in with the Dracos then," Nicole joked. Truth enough-she wasn't even close to their character mold, putting aside the fact that she carried no magical blood period. She wasn't looking to kill everyone, simply looking for fun and some adventure, even if it was slightly dangerous. Why not go out onto a limb?

Along with Rei, however, she had her doubts about the "Nymph" that Harry was. Though she had been the one who had pushed for a fight, Harry had been all too eager to go and prove himself. If anything, he belonged in Leviathan, as she was, or Titan, with Rei-he was more brash and direct, not the sort of "kind" and "deep" person that the Nymphs were.

Kira moved through the Leviathan common room. It was spacious with a large fireplace with portraits of famous figures lining the walls. The fire place was empty of fire but blackened from years, hundreds possibly of use. The room gave a cozy feel, comforting and inviting for everyone. She nestled into a couch and opened a book she brought from home, she wasn't supposed to bring anything except bare essentials from home but she snuck this one in. It was entitled "In the Garden of Good and Evil". It was a book she struggled to keep down and eagerly opened up to the last page she was on. It gave her something to take her mind off of school and the drama of school life. There were others around but it didn't bother her as she relaxed after a hard day of classes.

Harry smiled and said "I dunno either mate, but it doesn't look like a stick to your ribs meal, it looks like a puke from your ribs meal.." He laughed, his sense of humor was finally coming back..

Rei laughed and zapped Harry's food with a Glamour spell changing it into what he had requested specifically; the most appetising orange chicken with chow mein he would ever taste. She looked at Nic and wondered what to give her so she zapped her food into spaghetti Bolonaise like herself.

"Agreed; they want to act like morons with each other fine but they don't get to pick on my friends" she said smiling; "I happen to be very protective of them and I am not to be trifled with by anyone looking to hurt them" she added; "I'm Rei by the way" she introduced herself and offered her hand to Nic

Good and Evil... The two great forces in the world. Kira often debated with herself on the facts and myths of both sides of this theory. The theory that there are two distinct ideas, good and evil. She found herself contemplating the benefits of one side over the other. Which would further her unsertanding of magic and the world. Dark magic appealed to her. It was a forbidden fruit, banned from tasting and exploring. She was eager to learn more, to understand magic, she believed that learning both sides of it would lead to a greater understanding of the whole. Many wizards and witches viewed dark magic with suspescion and misunderstanding, typically fearing what they don't understand. She believed that dark magic must remain in check, but not banned. In secret, she studied what material was avaliable on the subject, some from her mom and some from wizard libaries. As she read the novel, her mind wandered back and forth from the conflict of good and evil, and the contents of the book.

The others were in the dining hall but she had no hunger that evening. Her delicate finger turned the page, revealing a fresh chapter, she smiled. A new turn, perhaps this is a sign. Kira gripped the book, bringing it closer to her face, completely enveloped with the story ad its' vivid disciptions.

Harry smiled and said "Thanks, Rei, oh, this is delicous!" He ate some of the orange chicken and chow mein, declaring it was the best he had ever had in his life..

"Nicole," Nic smiled, shaking Rei's hand lightly. "Thanks for the food...change, by the way, that other stuff wasn't probaly going to sit still for too long."

"As for the Dracos...I'm here to learn and have a good time. If they want to get in the way of that, than I'm willing to send them back to their own hole."

Alex walked around the school halls wearily, he'd seen all the school before so it didn't amaze him all that much. He was used to it, after all it was still a school. He was looking for the rest of his year but so far hadn't found any of them yet. He was looking forward to the school year for some reason.

Vex'til might have given up transfiguration classes this year - when the more advanced stuff came in - but he hadn't slept through the previous four years and he retained the ability to make objects change from to the other with the use of a simple spell.

He pulled his wand from his deep pockets and pointed it at the plate of food before him. "Avertavais," he said softly and the food changed into a nice steak and potato dish.

Definitely going to have to talk to the teacher about that one, he thought as the others carried on a conversation.

Rei nodded in agreement "Yeah; totally agree" she said with a smile; "that was pretty impressive back there earlier; so I'm guessing Telekinesis?" Rei asked curiously resting her hands together and her chin on them to listen her stomach for the moment seemingly ignored her stomach rumbled reminding her why she was here so she started to eat the meal in front of her still listening intently to Nicole. One might say Rei was quite smitten with the girl…if one knew Rei.

"Tell me a bit about yourself Nicole?" she asked.

IC: Alex had heard about some sort of fight between members of his own house and those of Draco and that was never good. He walked into the Leviathan dorm and found Kira sitting with a book. "Finally! Someone from My year!" he thought as he walked over to her. He felt he should exchange a greeting but decided the matter was more pressing than that. "Heard about the fight today in the school?" he asked her, sitting down in one of the other chairs. He knew she hated being disturbed when she was focused on something but, then again, no pain no gain.

Just as Kira was about to find out what Danny Harford and Corinne were going to do in the secluded garden when sound of someone talking interrupted her concentration. Should I ignore whoever's talking? No, they'll just keep at it if I do. So, she reluctantly put the book down on her lap and looked up, a flat expression on her face with a hint of annoyance in her eyes.
"Briefly" she replied and picked the book back up. "Were you a part of it?" she asked plainly.

Alex was used to the cold shoulder and so he ignored it, he answered the question though "I wasn't a part of it, it was all First Years but even so, it sounds like it was a pretty big scrap against the Draco's" Kira should have known as well as him what they could be capable off, He hated them with a passion but never tried to get into a fight with them for the reason that that is what they would want. He needed her opinion on this, then she could return to her bloody book. He was tempted to ask what it was but knew better after four years experience that she preferred to keep her private matters private. Instead he stated "I don't think Draco are too pleased about it though"

Serros came out of his room an into the common room to see Kira and Alex talking about the fight. He sat down in a chair across from them and started playing his gutair while listening to what Alex had to say about the fight before he would tell them waht he had to say about it.

"Harry Arnold? Did he try coming onto some girl?" she asked, intrigued even further, it was getting interesting. For some reason, besides his comments to her earlier, Kira composed a negative attitude towards him. "Sorry, I haven't heard anything about it. I went to my classes today, studied, and here I am talking to you" she pointed at him.

Alex shrugged at the suggestion "Like I said, brief details at best. I'll try to find out more later but for now, do you think Draco's displeasure'll be directed against this house or Nymph's? I won't be leaping into protect those who got involved but I don't want this dorm wreaked by a maruading bunch of Pure-Blood Fanatics" he didn't mean this as an insult to all pure-bloods but most of the Draco's he'd talked to did seem to be a little 'unhinged' especially those in his year. "You think any other Draco's will get involved?"

He saw in the corner of his eye Serros, a third year sit down nearby, he might of heard something about the fight. He'd wait until Kira had had her say first.

A good fifteen or so minutes later, after polishing off all of the mashed potatoes and all but sucking the bone of his steak dry, Vex had finished his delightful meal and mimed leaning back in his chair.

After staving off a burp and saving his image, he turned to the others and casually asked, "So... what now?"

If they are to attempt anything, they'll be on the recieving end of my temper. Two Leviathan members were involved today, that would make us a big target" he too turned to Serros, "What about you?" he asked "WHo do you think'll be their main target? Us or Nymph?" he waited for the Third Year's response.

"So, you'd use your magic to fight immaturity with immaturity?" Kira asked, voice harsher. "If they don't mess with me, I won't mess with them." she said.

Alex shook his head "Not what I meant. If they try and trash this dorm, I am not gonna sit here and watch them do it. However, if they leave us alone, I'll never mention this again" He sat back in the chair and thought for a moment "maybe we should find those Leviathans who were involved in the fight earlier" he said carefully and thoughtfullly "hear their side of the story, y'know. Can't hurt to ask and we may find some facts about today we have yet to hear" he awaited her response.

"You go ahead and play detective, Alex" Kira responded.

Alex laughed "Alright I will! You can return to your reading there and I'll track down our mystery fighters!" he walked towards the door, before pausing and turning slightly "what is it anyway?"

"Well I didn't just hear about the fight, I saw how it started. The Draco kid was walking along and nocked something out of that Harry guy's hands while he was talking to some cute Titan girl. Harry didn't take to well to that so they just kept elevating it from there, at some point they left the little draco confused and hanging in the air and ran off. Thats what I saw, after that I ran back to my room to grab my gutair so I could try to calm every one down but the fight moved and I coldn't find where every one was." After telling Kira and Alex all that he was feeling quite good about himself so he took a swig of rum from a small bottle he kept with him most times and went back to playing gutair.

"That'll help, Serro, thanks for that" Alex meant it, although it sounded sarcastic, "I'll take a look around for these Leviathans then, you coming?" He waited by the door for an answer. Speed was important now, he had to find these ones before Draco got to them first, that was not above the Draco's and he should know.

"No I think I'll just stay hear I have been all the help I feel like being today." With that Serros took another swig of rum, he thought about getting hammered but decied he didn't want to be hung over on the first day of classes.

Nicole addressed Rei before Vex.

"Telekinesis, or something like it," she smiled. "I discovered it fighting a girl some time back who was asking for it-nearly shocked me out at the same time, seeing that. I guess it's developed somewhat, but it's still hard to end it once the feelings start flooding, the emotion rising...the adrenaline starts to push you to lock into the aggression and the fight."

She broke from the detail, turning slightly to Vex.

"Well...now I guess we actually start getting into the year and hope that the Dracos either fight with themselves or actually get settled down. I bet they'll try more...but we can wait and see before we should do anything yet."

Hayai ignored Dante and Harry as they started talking to each other, and instead focused on the other conversations going an around him. Suddenly, one of the kids-a boy named Alex-rose from his seat, saying something about going to find the Dracos. No one else seemed to want to come with him. This might be worthwhile...

"I'll see you two later," said Hayai, rising from his seat. He waiting inconspicuously for Alex to leave the room; he certianly wasn't going to introduce himself, but would instead tail the boy and find out what he could about Draco.

Faistian was bored and confused about all of the commotion currently going on in the school. Apparently Draco had already made a bad name for itself, and unfortunetly that was a name that Faistian was associated with. He could only hope that the other members of the school would look past his house name and speak to him for what he was, and his own actions. So in order to accomplish this he decided that he would go speak to some of the people from the other houses that were conregating.

Faistian walked towards Rei and her group of friends. His moves were neither menacing nor kind, just neutral-curious about the grounds of the school and the new individuals that he would have the chance to meet. He closed the distance between them surprisingly quickly and hurridly introduced himself to Rei, Nicole, and Vex. "I am Faistian. I am pretty new to this school, as undoubtly you are as well. I have never seen any of you before."

Rei nodded along with Nicole; "I know exactly how that feels; like the power is controlling you not the other way around. My Elemental power is driven by my emotions; anger specifically has a great effect; rage fuelling my magic" she said in agreement "…. It makes it all to easy to go to far" she added quietly and solemnly so that only Nicole could hear.

Rei ignored the new comer he wasn't addressing her specifically and Vex was talking to him plus right now she was far more interested in Nicole; Plus Assuming the entire group were newbies was a little arrogent

"Hey there... I'm Vex," he responded as the group continued to swell with more and more people introducing themselves. "And they are..." he began, looking at the others gathered around the table before deciding not to bother going through each one, "Others..."

Though perhaps it was just his imagination, in the distance, Vex could've sworn that he heard the sweet pluckings of a guitar or similar instrument. Maybe it was just his subconscious mind, but it made him want to pluck a few chords of his own.

Once again retrieving his wand from the depths of his pocket, Vex pointed it towards the dining hall's entrance and more or less in the direction of the Titan's Western Tower House. Hope this works, he thought briefly before calling in a louder than normal voice, "Accio guitar!"

At first there was nothing, but that was to be expected considering the distance back to Titan's common room and dorms. However, a minute later, a small case came flying through the dining hall's main door and above the throng of people. Having found no way through Titan's main door, the case had burst through one of the stain glass windows and zoomed through the outside air until it found an entrance on the ground level with which to gain access to the dining hall.

"As faithful as ever..." he whispered softly to himself as he plucked the hand-sized case out of midair. Turning around on the bench so that he was facing outwards with his back against the table, he popped the clip off of the case with his thumb and pulled the guitar from inside. When he removed it, the instrument slowly seemed to grow until it had become its normal full size - it was one of the more practical benefits of magic.

With his wand away and guitar on his lap, his fingers found the strings and slowly began strumming a soft ballad of a song...

"That's what we have to watch out for, then," Nic replied to Rei, "breaking the limit and going over the edge."

She sat quiet for a second or two before Faistian came up to speak to the group in the dining hall. He didn't really seem outwardly like much of anything, based on appearance-but Nic knew better than to judge someone solely on what she could see.

"Hey, I'm Nicole," she greeted warmly, "Have a seat. What house were you assigned to?"

Rei looked a little sad for a moment and nodded in agreement silently looking slightly uncomfortable knowing there was no way on earth she could actually tell her. She regarded her food quietly for a few moments hoping to finish it soon.

Finally! He's gone, now I can finish reading. Kira eagerly reopened the book and began scanning the lines, taking in the desriptive narative. The trivial matters of Alex's quest hardly interested her, though, it could create some fun to observe later as the two houses tear at each other. After some time, the hour grew late and she decided to end her reading session early. The book snapped shut as she stood to her feet and stretched out her body, sighing. Other kids now occupied the common room, studying and chatting amoungst themselves.

Back in her dorm room, her roomate was adscent, giving her some precious alone time. She put the book away and flipped open one of her books from class, it was about the history of Magic. Kira enjoyed history and read it contently enough.

Ryan Getzlaf entered the dining hall. Welcome home, he thought. Over in the corner were some students, so he went to go introduce himself.

"Hi," he said. "I'm Ryan from the VDB and who are you?"

"Thank-you." Faistian took a seat unformally in a chair..? He looked casually at the intricate tile on the floor. Faistian inwardly sighed as Nicole asked the dreadful question. In a split second he displayed the two options that he currently posessed. One, he could outwardly lie. He had always been talented in the game of lieing. Or he could choose the latter and tell the truth. I supppose the truth will be better then a lie under these precarious circumstances regarding my house.

"I can't say from what I've been hearing that you will be pleased of what house I come from, but regardless of what feelings may assuage you I shall tell the truth. I come from House Draco."

Nic raised an eyebrow slightly, both to Faistian's answer and to how she noticed Rei suddenly looking depressed right across the table. She decided to let Rei mull over what was on her mind.

"Draco, huh?" she said, "I won't judge you on your house by itself, but I just hope you're not like some of the others who are from there. At least you're talking to us without spitting curses as well."

Faistian laughed. "I heard about some of the fights that have been going on in the school however I am not sure of the conflict's roots. If you don't mind me asking, do you know why all of the fights are springing up around the school?"

Alex wandered through the corridors, deep in thought. Kira had been as co-operative as expected but even so, it never helped matters. Although they'd been in the same class for five years, she still kept her cards close to her chest. Then again, so did he. Funny old world. He refocused on looking for those Leviathans, although it didn't last long and soon he was thinking of his Mother.

He'd watched her duel during the summer and being bowled over by her skill and ability. Natalie Cavourna was again climbing the dueling ranks and she'd taught him all she knew. He apprecieted it but he preferred to develop his own style. Still, a little help never hurt.

OOC: And me!

"A couple of kids from Draco have been looking for fights," Nicole said, "And they tried to pick one with Harry here. They didn't do a great job, but now the whole school is talking about it. It's not really widespread, it's just that everyone got word of it fast."

Rei smiled reassuringly at Nicole to make sure she knew that it wasn't something she said that depressed her; last thing Rei wanted to do was upset her new friend; or make her think she had done something wrong; thoughts however did plague her mind about her past. Few Witches were declared black or white; most were what were called "Grey" or neutral witches; it just so happened that Rei was a darker shade of grey than most.

She listened to the man from Draco talk; it was slightly reassuring to know that not everyone from Draco were complete assholes. Rei listened but had no direct desire to talk to the man unless addressed directly she was too pre-occupied with her own thoughts but then perhaps a distraction could be a good thing. "So tell me about yourself Nicole?" she asked trying to take her mind off her past.

"Alright, what would you like to know about me?" Nicole said. She was talkative, and Rei had been friendly so far-she wasn't concerned about sharing about her non-magical self.

~ " Ohh ... oh, God, my head ..."

A few moments ago, Elario had been fine, and then, out of nowhere, a blinding headache had completely took over his senses. Not even magic could cure the pain, making him (and others) wonder what it truly was that caused him this hinderance.

Rolling in agony on his dorm bed, Elario thought that he was going to die; the pain was far worse than anything else he had ever experienced, and yet, suddenly, it was gone. No explanation, no lessening of the tension on his skull: the pain simply vanished.

Shocked, slightly afraid, and yet undoubtedly grateful that he was feeling better, Elario decided to try and stand up. He did so succesfully, and in a few more seconds, he was moving around perfectly fine.

Why he had taken ill, and, more confusing than that, why he had suddenly felt better, plagued Elario's thoughts as he found himself wandering the school. He stopped himself short.

When did I leave the Common Room ...?

In fact, to his horror, he just realized that he had absolutely no recollection of anything that had happened ever since he passed out on his bed. He didn't remember the pain, nor the nightmares that had tortured his already troublesome sleep. The nightmares that seemed to be far too real than to just be dreams ...

Elario was stumbling along, his strength sapped from him, his hand holding on to the stone walls to steady himself. He was pale: a much greater contrast to his normally-tan skin, and the color in his eyes had faded to be a much lighter green. Somehow, he had found his way back to the dining hall.

He spied the red-haired girl who was with Vex from before. He actually didn't even get a chance to introduce himself to her, so quick his headache had taken him. She was with two other people: another girl, but with brown hair, and a red-robed boy, but he hoped that they wouldn't mind him joining them.

Walking (it was more like staggering) over to them, he managed to get out in a small, rather weak voice (much in contrast to his normal speech),

" Can I join you?"~

"Sure, come on over and have a seat," Nic motioned to Elario. He seemed new; at least, she hadn't seen him before. "What house are you assigned to?"

Alex walked over to the table that Elario, Ryan and Dante were sitting on, "Hay" he said to the group "Anybody here from Leviathan?" he was not in the moood for delays or long answers, he needed to get back to his dorm and revise those spells for Tranfiguration.

"I'm in Leviathan," Nic said warmly to the newcomer. "How's Titan like, I haven't really heard much about it...it hasn't been one of the two houses that have already made a bad name for ourselves here...us and Draco, now everyone's talking about our fight. I figure you have by now..."

~ Elario shook his head "no" towards Nic's comment.

" No, actually, I haven't heard anything of that, although I did manage to get myself into a little bit of a scrape: something about being a 'Half-blood', or something, I'm not really sure."

He smiled meekly, his voice returning to him, along with the color in his skin, and he continued,

" Titan House is ... well, to be honest, this is actually my first year, so I don't really know. I'm a transfer student. Hell, I actually just found out I could use magic some two years ago."

Once again, the outcast feeling came up. Different, he thought, and then quickly banished it from his mind. Different doesn't always mean bad: it just means different, that's all.~

Alex walked over to Elario and Nic were sitting on "Are any of you from Leviathan?" he asked, he was getting annoyed with this.

As Alex walked up, Nic turned to him.

"Yeah, I'm from Leviathan," she said.

Dante, using an inflection that could tell "pissed off", said,
"I'm sick and tired of this 'pure-blood' stuff going on."

A piece of folded paper came flying into the dining hall and immediately found its destination, fluttering slowly down into Vex's reach. His hands stopped plucking at the guitar strings and the sweet music stopped as he grasped the message.

You are to report to the dungeon in the center tower when ready to take the entry tests for the following classes: Curses, World Beyond Studies, and Unknown Magics Studies.

With a flick of his wand, Vex made both the letter and his guitar disappear into thin air. "Gotta be going..." he said to the others with a little salute before exiting the hall...

"Tell ya' the truth, it's starting to grind on me too," Nic said. "I don't see why what's running in your blood makes you so much better than the rest of us about things."

Truthfully, it was getting on Nic-moreso that she seemed the only one around who didn't have any magical lineage and was more a "genetic mistake." She hadn't asked to be magical-it was a gift that she had found and now looked to make the most of it. However, so many of these pure-bloods acted as if it was their divine right to be magical and that they were better because of it-and they hadn't seen the real world as she had. There were billions who'd pay to be in their position, and they took it for granted.

As Alex walked up, Nic turned to him.

"Yeah, I'm from Leviathan," she said.

"Did you hear anything about the fight earlier?" Alex asked patiently. He was tired and only half listening to the students. He was also going through the spells he would need to pass the test he had tomorrow. "where any of you in the fight with Draco?" he asked as well, he'd probably forget about it unless he asked it now.

"Ahhh, damn...that was harder than I thought."

Hayai came half-stumbling back into the dining hall from his Curses exam, feeling as tired as a cadaver. At least, after all his troubles, he had passed-barely, though. He caught sight of his only 'friend' at the school, Dante, with a couple of other students he didn't know. Silently, he took a seat next to them, absorbing the conversation which seemed to be about the nature and additudes towards blood purity.

The newcomer asking the question about the fight didn't even seem interested about what he was asking; he seemed off with his head in the clouds. Probaly another one of them Dracos, Nic thought before talking, Doesn't even seem remotely interested in trying to make friends here.

It'd either force him to keep asking questions and come back to Earth, or he could just go back to his Draco hole where he came from...

So tell me who was in this fight and what happened" he bore straight into Nic's eyes awaiting an answer, and god help him if it wasn't the truth.

Hayai shot a glance between the pair of Leviathans. Do all these peoplea act this way? No respect at all, it seems...His brow furrowed as Alex took a somewhat mean tone towards the first year girl. Before she could answer, Hayai cut in for a moment.

"She answered your question. There's no need to take such an impatiant tone."

Alex turned and looked calmly at the Hayai "I am quite impatient. I've been up since before dawn and I'll be up long after midnight" he groaned at the thought of it. It would be a long slog and and he really didn't want to have to wait for answers here. The sooner he went back to his dorm, the sooner he get to bed. He hid this from his face and continued to wait for an answer

"It seems I am giving you the 3rd Degree. For that I apologise and take my leave" he turned and strode out of the hall.

~ Shocked that such a wound could be left from a fight in the school, Elario could do nothing but stand watching Alex leave, stunned. Still, he had a lot to learn apparently. Sixteen years old, and he was being treated as a first-year by everyone he met.

He sighed as he recollected the student's last words: "Little hint, fight against a Draco, watch your back, understand?"

Draco House ... apparently that was who the fight involved. He hadn't met anyone from Draco (at least, he didn't think he had met anyone from Draco), but if they would unleash an attack as to leave a scar like that ...

Elario made a mental note to be more cautious around the hallways ...~

"The Dracos sound overrated," Hayai said to no one in particular. "Probably got that scar when he was a first year while fighting a seventh year or something. Dracos are the type to seek comfort and streanth in numbers, anyways...catch one alone, and I'm sure they won't be much of a problem."

He yawned and streached his arms; he was still terribly sore from his test. Hopefully a long night's rest would find him recovered by tomorrow morning. He thought about turning in as well, but decided to wait until another Titan left-otherwise, he'd probably get lost again.

He sized up the man quickly: He was taller than him, rather muscular as well. Almost same color hair (Elario's was lighter), and green eyes as well ...

Still, his question stood towards him.~

"Not directly so far, but I know many people like that. I've eavedropped on them-they're obsessed with bloodlines and proving themselves. Those types are usually the same-weak and scared. Most of these Dracos seem to have grown up as spoiled rich kids who have never gotten in real fight and just like to run their mouths. As such, weaklings tend to bond together, until they can overwhelm those stronger than them."

Hayai sighed and watched the other student size him up; it was like he was looking at a doppleganger or something with the green eyes and similar hair.

"I saw a few of them just a while ago at the Curses test. They seemed competent, but nothing amazing, I'd say. Still, can't be sure until I personally fight them, I guess."

Sighing, he slumped back down in his seat, questions still buzzing in his mind. His introduction into the magical community had been brief, and yet, nearly deadly. No harm in asking though, right?

" What is this whole thing between pure blood, and what have you, anyway? I was attacked earlier for being a ... I think he called me 'Muddled-Blood', or something like that. I'm not sure what it all means ..."~
