Varyag Carrier Battle Group, 100 nm Off the Coast of Diego Garcia
The Carrier Group was very busy at the dead of night, with Naval infantry being woken up and equipped. They filed onto the deck where six Mi-17 Assault Transports sat in wait. An operation was going to go soon, and the commander began to brief the crews on deck.
Meanwhile, an Su-33 took off the deck and began its flight towards Diego Garcia. Climbing to a high altitude, the fighter began the slow upload of target information to its single large cruise missile on board. As soon as the info is delivered, the cruise missile was to make a cours directly above the island at an altitude of 35,000 feet and activate.

The Il-76D paradrop aircraft flew over the Indian Ocean South towards the island. In the drop room, 100 Spetsnaz Special Forces sat breathing 100% Oxygen in preparation for their jump. After the special cruise missile activated, the drop would proceed first by dropping 50 men at the Northwestern Point of the island and then dropping the remaining 50 men at the runway.
