Hello, my Latin American comrades. I come to you asking for a merger between your two nations.

As you and I both know, there is turmoil going on in the East, specifically the oil rich Middle East. The nations of the world hold a strong dislike towards Grunder Industries as well - and the nations in turmoil and hatred produce a large ammount of oil.

But all three of us have major oil supplies. Myself, the Amazon; Franberry, Patagonia; Cassiopeia, the Gulf. If we combine these three locations and drill the oil out, I'm sure you can figure out that we will have a lot of oil and a lot of prospective buyers. So what do you say? The East will be our puppets, we will control their oil. The company, if you agree, will be Mexican-Amazonian and Patagonian Oil Consortium, or MAPOC in the English language. In your language of Spanish, Consorcio del Petróleo de Patagonia y el Amazonas y México (CPPAM) and in my Portuguese language Consórcio de Oleo de Patagônia e o Amazonas e México (COPAM)

OOC: You do realize that the "East" is all in POG, and has russias oil, chinas oil, and the middle easts oil? We don't need your oil...

OOC: First of all its a publicity message. It has to sell the product, and doesn't have to be entirely truthful about it. Secondly, part of your nation covers Egypt, so obviously, we are not looking to sell to you. Now, you have accurately described the large oil reserves that were not mentioned by Jared, and note that if the POG has all of them, then the freedom-loving-people of the world will have to trade with us, seeing as how you're hostile to just about anyone.

OOC: I was just saying... Plus, if you run their prices up too high, which cn be inferred from the they will be our puppets statement, they will run to our cheaper prices. Finally, just remember that Patagonia passed peak production in 1997 and Brazil the same in 2003. Now I will leave your thread and not clutter it any more with OOC...

Cassiopeia, Presidential Villa

Interesting fact, not only is Cassiopeia the short hand for my respective nation, but it's also the capital. Located in modern day Havana, it is a fine... ish city. I mean granted we don't have the best economy, but we certainly don't have the worst. It's average, to be honest alot of the Commonwealth is average when compared to Dwisomethingpelh Prime, or other powerful economies. But it did have one thing, it had alot of things. It had a determined people, alot of land, and Clint Eastwood leading the charge.

Clint now has been President for two years. He's been a good man, fixing the economy the best he can, feeding the poor, and killing any a-holes he sees with his .44 magnum.

Now he sat on his chair desk thing, a giant window facing the main city, the Cassiopeian flag hanging on the sides, and a nice green carpet. Persian. That's right, we have the money.

Clint was reviewing some bills and all that, whilst mumbling about Grenada when he got the Jaredchonian message. He sniffed. "The hell is this..." He started to read it... oil. He knew the Commonwealth had oil, but the state was always isolationist so it didn't really sell alot. He knew the Pact of Gold, something he heard of in passing, had alot of oil as well, but, a little compitition never hurt anyone. Eh, what the hell. He sent a reply.

Oh and this is a secret message, I refuse to put SIC in this post dangit.

Assembly to pass but they like anything that gives them more money,
especially since it involves black gold. So uh, you got a document or
somethin' boy? Ah hell we can work out semantics later. But as soon as you

consider the Comomnwealth good as joined.

The Franberrian Republic finds the idea of CPPAM quite attractive, and we also feel that this is the right time for it. The Pact of Gold has alienated the East from the West, a quite foolish action which will hinder them in the long run. This means that, if formed, the CPPAM will control almost all the significant oil reserves of the West. The Europeans seem to have no problem with us at all, and the same goes for the North Americans. We stand to gain a lot from this deal, we all do. You can be assured that this motion shall pass through Congress and the Senate quickly, and onto it shall be attached a motion to increase development of the South Atlantic Oilfields. We wish this project the best of luck.
