Elected by the people to serve one ten year term, elections are very serious business. Turnouts are very high. Based on the old? American system of Government, he has to power to appoint judicial heads, veto bills, declare war for thirty days without legislative consent. He's also the Head Diplomat of the Foreign Ministry, Commander in Chief of the Cassiopeian Military, and Host of the annual Ms. Sexy Pageant.
The General Assembly
The General Assembly is a unitarian legislative system. 10 representatives are picked from each district, leading to a total of 70 representatives. Those 70 representatives then choose an Assembly Chairman, who has no real power but gets to sit on a nice comfy chair. It has all the powers of the old? American Congress, such as makin' billz and declaring wars due to lack of win. There are many types of parties vieing for power, but the main ones are the Socialists, the Progessive Party, the Christian Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and the Nationalist Party.
The High Court
The High Justices, all seven of them, are selected by the President. Quite simply they... judge things on the federal level. Let's move on.
