[Official Press Release]

There comes a point in the life of every company where it is faced with the daunting question of whether or not to expand into other nations. There are several benefits to investing overseas; Namely, the chance of boosting profits to levels unheard of before. However, several possible drawbacks exist; Namely, the chance of a failed investment that ultimately accomplishes nothing than deflating the price of a corporations stock.

Aurisa Vehicle Group was founded 30 years ago by a group of venture capitalists who sought to create an automaker which would provide extremely efficient, reliable, and safe vehicles to the citizens of the Libertarian Federation.

Over the years Aurisa Vehicle Group has grown into a profit-making corporation. The recent introduction of the Aurisa Avenger compact car saw Aurisas' profit climb to record highs. That, coupled with the introduction of our new manufacturing system, has put AVG in a very powerful position to make long term investments.

However, Aurisa is not going to quickly and uncontrollably expand into every corner of the globe before determining the demand for our products overseas. We wish to expand into a total of FIVE nations. Thus far, we are undecided as to exactly which nations these will be.

Basically, the five nations who offer us the best deals to set up business there will be chosen. Aurisa Vehicle Group pledges to set up dealerships in each nation which is chosen. These dealerships will bring many, many jobs. Further, there is the very real possibility that, eventually, AVG will choose to move some of its manufacturing to your country.

All offers presented to Aurisa will become publicly viewable at www.aurisa.av.

We don't deal with communist nations, generally.

It is essentially a "no," given that Aurisa Vehicle Group does not conduct business with governments which support ideologies that limit individual freedom. Should you decide to completely redesign your economy, we may discuss future options.

The Democratic Imperium of Halberdgardia is always looking to increase its economic power, and therefore cordially invites the Aurisa Vehicle Group to establish operations in Halberdgardia. We have highly favorable operating conditions, giving domestic and foreign corporations alike a substantial amount of latitude to operate, with relatively unintrusive government regulations to ensure consumer safety and corporations' honesty. We also have a very strong manufacturing base that could greatly benefit AVG's operations on a global scale. We strongly urge AVG to consider our proposal. We thank you for your time.

[OOC: Apologies for the shitty post -- I'm feeling delightfully uncreative at the moment.]

We want you to expand into Aurum Domus. You'll have several tax breaks but in order to get them you have to let us use your facilities to manufacture military vehicles such as Hummers and fighting vehicles.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

It is an honour to speak to you. I might introduce my company first: VLT Automotive is one of the largest automobile manufacturers around, and is always interested in expanding it's operations worldwide. Therefore, we would like to request AVG to open communications with us, and discuss a possible sale of the company to VLT. We are prepared to pay a large sum of money for AVG, while the wings of VLT offer a great chance to expand, both in technology and in new markets. We ask you to consider our offer.

Signed,

Kristin Becker,

[Official Response]

From: Aurisa Vehicle Group

The current consensus within the upper tiers of our management is that selling out to a foreign entity will offer no long term benefits verses staying independent. We are currently making a large annual profit and preparing to expand; being "taken under the wing" of a foreign corporation would cause a shift within our company that we feel could be troubling. If it isn't broke, which AVG is far from, then we see no need to attempt to fix it.

Nevertheless, we'll hear your offer.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Although we do not have insight in the current economic prestations of the Aurisa Vehicle Group, we were prepared to bid up to 20 trillion USD, with consent of both H.R.H. the Grand Duke of Van Luxemburg and the Van Luxemburgian State, in order to acquire AVG. Despite your rather negative tone, our offer still stands.

Our initial negativity was nothing more than an attempt to gauge how serious you are in terms of support for the deal. You've proven you are indeed behind AVG.

However, we simply don't feel that now is the best time to conduct a deal like this. However, we may be interested in a mutual alliance.

Aurisa feels that there may be an opportunity for a separate contract dealing with military vehicles for your nation. If you can guarantee us a steady stream of purchases, we'll dedicate two facilities solely to producing your military vehicles. Is this agreeable?

[OOC: I had expected to get a few more offers and THEN release a statement of the winners, which you'd be on. Of course, since no one is interested in having a major investor operate within their borders, I'm gonna wait a bit to do that.]

[OOC: Indeed. The second best selling thing in Avisron is basically a ripoff of the Toyota/Scion bB/xB. The first generation one. Not the new one that looks like a minivan.]
