It had been so long since I have seen my homeworld, So long since i have gazed apone my family and friends. The war took a toll far greater then any had imagined and for what? So a sith could become a emperor!? We were all tricked into aiding to his rise to power. Threw us he gave a reasion to those burecrats a reasion to let him have more power and to rase a army to deal with the threat. They were more then happy to give him more power to do their jobs for them. Ironic that in the end they gave up all their power to restore the peace and yet in doing so insured there would be none.

I have been asleep for far to long. This world is forgain to me as are the stars in the sky. This world smells of smoke unlike my homeworld yet this isnt the only thing forgain to me. My legs,my arms even half of my face they are part of me but not of me. They are not flesh and blood but metal and wire. But now that i think on it the war didnt take everything from me...no i still have my hate and my lust for battle greater then any sith. At the same time i feel a calmness over me that no jedi could ever have. My duty is clear I must restore this reformed CIS to power and then one day i will reclaim my homeland. There is a long and brutal path ahead of me but to my enemys let it be known Kenpachi has returned to spill the blood of all who stand in my path!

The Half Droid Half Man slammed his double jointed left foot into the ground crushing a rock. Looking over the city smoke rised from the droid works. They were running at 120% on orders from Kenpachi who had been named Supream Commander of the CIS hours after the assinations mustafar by the remaining CIS leadership.

He had been badly injured in the space battle over coruscant. Befor being put into hybernation he ordered his fleet and a large convoy of humanoids loyal to the CIS cuase to used a warp gateway they had found in the early days of the clone wars. Left over from a ancient empire predateing the republic itself. Useing it would take them far away from the new Empires wrath for many years time for them to rebuild a new CIS. Now many years later the CIS has taken controle of many systems in this new galaxy tho their power and size is nothing to what it once was.

This was a start a start to great things. Kenpachi had been reawakened and with droid replacemant parts for limbs to damaged to heal he looks to lead the CIS to a grand rebirth. There is even word that brain of general grievous was saved after his defeat and threw a long peroid of time has been restored to the point where a new body could bring the great hero back to life. However more pressing matters occupied Kenpachis mind the CIS had come accross some new races in this galaxy the locals call the "milky way" however none were advanced enough to have a ship even make it past their moons. He wondered how long it would be befor the CIS would be forced to start deplomacy with local powers who were worth of diplomacy and not outright subjugation. Only time would tell as scout ships patroled the boarders of the CIS and beyond.

The two ships arced across the collection of fluctuating universal constants and underdimensional oddities that was non-relativistic space ('Space' being a bit of a misnomer, given the lack thereof), collections of sensordrones spread over a circle lightyears in diameter soaking up the information that slipped from relativistic space into the somewhat less clearly defined properties of this particular realm, surprisingly significant fractions of their computing power busy with analysing the same.

It wasn't a random search, of course - information had been collected over quite a while, and politics had long since become involved in the matter. Not that anyone had done anything direct, of course - people had mostly sat back, passively listening to events that happened thousands of lightyears away, thinking about them, what they liked, and what they disliked.

By and large, 'Dislike' was the dominant of the two. The Hypocrisy at large wasn't exactly fond of machine slavery - which was what happened with droids -, and neither was it fond of the process of 'Subjugation' - although it largely depended on what this subjugation entailed. Benevolent subjugation (If only on a temporary bases) wasn't objected to, although benevolence was by definition in the eye of the beholder.

Well. It called itself 'Hypocrisy' for a reason. It was nothing if not self-conscious about its shortcomings.

Finally approaching their destination, the two ships started to decelerate, a thin front of wideband radiations entering relativistic space the only evidence of their impending arrival - having judged their future contact 'Militant' on two levels (The economic and military ones), they hadn't seen fit to announce themselves earlier than absolutely necessary, simply because they believed that a less polite than usual approach would probably yield better than usual results.

The sensordrones were left in the tenuous holds of non-relativistic space as the two ships crossed the last few remaining lightyears towards their destination, ignoring borders (For controlling thousands of cubiclightyears of space is impossible, and makes slipping by a surprisingly simply endeavour) and pointing themselves roughly at the system whose EM activity suggested rather strongly that it was the seat of the new entity's government.

Minutes later, after a rough final deceleration to velocities considerably below the speed of light in the relativistic vacuum, the ships finally engaged their drives' shifting units, adjusted angular momentum and a number of other details that'd prevent them from being tossed right out of the system, and popped out of non-relativistic space, just to appear again about an AU off the planet they thought held the 'Government' of this peculiar, and rather new entity - they could've shifted right into its orbit, of course, but this would probably have gotten them atomised within a few seconds. Showing a bit of arrogance is one thing, suicidally hopping into an orbital defence screen is something entirely different.

"So... What do you expect?" the female asked, while trying to figure out which outfit would be most beneficial for the occasion, for now wandering through her extensive collection of cupboards and clothing in her (Pretty) undies.

"They'll be a bit annoyed, I suppose. Already shot off a greeting, but inhowfar they approve of us showing up a mere one hundred and fifty million kilometres off their planet is another question. I'm a pseudo-civilian, of course, but the Scythe of Darwin, err, less so."

The female - Katrin Hitoshi-Yang, the very definition of a Hypocrisy mongrel - peered at the tiny kitten on her shoulder the ship was presently using as its avatar. "I thought a more militant tha usual aproach was considered beneficial?"

"It is. But whether it'll work is another question. We're still only two ships, not a megafleet - that we do technically have a megafleet available is secondary. So they might not take it exactly the way we desire them to. Of course, we wont know until we try."

"Which is what we're doing right now." Katrin briefly vanished into one of the gigantic cupboards, just to return with two surprisingly modest dresses. "Traditional Japanese or Chinese, what do you think?"

"Western European, business?"

"Oh, please. It's only a third of my heritage... Also, you only say that because your hair sticks so well to my business outfits."

"Meow."

Te two ships, a hundred and fifty million kilometres off the planet (And closing at some thirty thousand kilometres per second), were probably considered less than a threat - they weren't even particularly big, slightly less than a kilometre, and slightly more than half a kilometre long, respectively. Of course, being a threat or not - they'd likely raise some curiosity, and they'd definitely be asked to identify.

Which The Pen is Mightier than the Sword eventually choose to do without even being asked to. They were intruding, after all.

We - that is, the Hypocrisy - noticed you setting up shop in the area, and decided that it'd only be appropriate for us to contact you - the sooner the better. It's always a good idea to know about the peculiarities of one's more or less distant neighbors, after all.

As such, you may consider this a contact situation, and we - me as well as my escort, the Tactical Engagement Unit Scythe of Darwin, and our respective inhabitants, most notably Ms. Katrin Hitoshi-Yang, our professional diplomat - would like to engage in the same with you, the subject being the basic establishment of diplomatic contacts and aforementioned peculiarities. We'll there where we can go from there. Oh, and planetside would be preferred.

Hope to hear from you soon.

It was a normal day on New Geonosis, The air filled with smog from the Droid Works that covered the citys. The Chairman of the InterGalactic Banking Clan Kos himself was on the world overseeing a deal with the local governor.

Being the highest ranking member of the CIS on the world when the "visitors" arrived was one of the first informed.

" Have they attacked?" the tall muun asked the droid while sipping a cup of hot tea.

" No sir they came appeared on our sensors a hundred and fifty million kilometres off the planet."

Kos set down his cup of tea" How paculer have they conntacted us?"

" Yes sir" the droid hands the data pad over as kos put on his eye glasses and looked it over.

"Very well i will send a reply it seems relations are possible and when you can have relations you can have trade...and where there is trade there is money to be made."

Greetings i am Chairman Kos of the InterGalactic Banking Clan and ranking government offcial here on New Geonosis. I am glad to hear we are not the only advanced power in this galaxy it was starting to feel empy out here. It is hard to make money with many of these unadvanced races.

I would be honored to host a diplomatic function here on New Geonosis. Please sending a shuttle craft to landing zone R-45 Section D the exact loaction is being sent along with this message.

Look forword to seeing you soon.

Yours sincerely,

"Well. This went well," the ship - well, the kitten - said once the return signal arrived. "Decelerating to a relative stop geosynchrous over the received coordinates... Now."

Katrin stumbled over, barely holding on to yet another piece of clothing, yelping and staring annoyed at the kitten that'd by now jump from her shoulder and on a little stool in a corner. "I hate it when you use inertia control at less than 100%."

"Yes, well, I always thought that cancelling it completely is a bit boring..."

This is fortunate. We'll be down in three hours - that should be enough prep time, I believe.Course schedules and relative-stop orbit coordinates are attached for me and the Skythe of Darwin.

Oh, and I understand that your main interest is economic gain? I do believe that we can be of use in this regard - while our economy is probably a bit exotic, and may not be entirely compatible with yours, we can at least provide access to other markets in the galaxy - estimated at a total of about ninety trillion individuals.

Well. Details can follow suit once we meet.

Landfall

The shuttle itself was a simple - if shiny - matter, streamlined and looking whitish-silvery, more or less the definition of beauty in simplicity, and it landed without any further ado - it was, after all, merely a transport.

The people contained within it were another matter.

Katrin Hitoshi-Yang - herself a rather petite woman, fair skinned as a result of the as a rule weak Angstian sun(s), and bespectacled as a fashion statement. Glasses for the purpose of eyesight correction were, of course, not a necessity, but they looked pretty and professional - had eventually settled for a high-cut (That is, considerably less traditional than originally intended) quipao, the things were pretty much the fashion of the day in the Hypocrisy - for how long they'd continue to be so was another question, of course. With her were a) the ships' representative (Still a kitten on Katrin's shoulder, whitish fur plus a brain that could be considered a fairly potent EW & IW package) and b) Silesia Nerte, a similarly whitish, smooth (With a few bumps extending outward for a few centimetres) ellipsoid slightly less than a metre in length floating on shoulder height, who, despite being a MilSpec drone, did have reasonable experience in foreign matters, after having spent about a year in Mationbuds.

They variously stepped, floated, or were carried out of the shuttle, Katrin with her eyes half-closed, having to get used to the bright daylight of a planet in the first place, and looked around for someone to, well... Acknowledge them.

The dock the shuttle had landed on had not be built with a diplomatic event in mind. Thus it wasnt protected from the heavy smog of the city. Fourteen B-3 Ultra Battle Droids came marching down the bridge connacting the landing pad to the main complex. They broke off to either side forming a line from the shuttle to the bridge seven to each side.

Following behind was chairman kos himself who stood ten feet tall as muun were a very tall and thin people. He was wearing a expensive dark blue robe given to only the chairman of the banking clan.On either side of him were two Neimoidian aids and behind them two MagnaGuard's.

"Welcome to New Geonosis, I am Chairman Kos." The muun slightly noded his head in respect.

" I am sorry we did not have time to ready a formal event for your arrivle. But we can talk more once we are inside i asure you the lighting in there is not as bright as out here nore is the air filled with the smell of smoke." hold a hand out in the direction of the birdge leading to the complex

The muun had taken notice of Katrin's discomfort with the lighting. As a great business man he had learned to read the expressions of thuse he is doing business with. If he was undergoing more pressing talks he could make sure the talks would be held outside when the sun is at its brightest as discomfort often leads to hasty decisions.

The smog was, by and large, a comparatively minor problem - a flimsy field extended by Silesia Nerte, keeping out the smog while letting the air in was enough to protect the party from its less than pleasant effects, routine so to speak, as the Hypocrisy wasn't exactly devoid of pollution, either, although it could typically be dealt with in less obvious manners than just releasing it into the air.

Which, while easy, wasn't very pretty. And when you're keeping a good fraction of your manufacturing spaceborn, anyway...

In any case. The group used its various forms of locomotion to step down and towards Chairman Kos (Who stood almost twice as tall as Katrin), with Katrin choosing to do a little curtsy as opposed to bowing slightly - it helped with keeping eye contact.

"Thank you for your warm welcome, and no worries - what are formalities, other than a pretty, but time-wasting effort at impressing each other? Much more efficient to get right down to business, isn't it?"

Katrin smiled a bit mischievously at that, and eventually walked towards the complex, together with her entourage and her host, business opportunities and humanitarian efforts in her mind.
The Reformed CIS
12-07-2007, 16:36
As the group entered the complex they would notice is was under lit and the walls were black as night. Lighting wasnt much needed for droids who can see in the dark anyway but it was still more then enough for your normal humanoid to see.

After walking down a long hallway and makeing many turns they arived at what could be called a meeting room. It wasnt as dark as the other areas. It hosted a long conference table with rather soft chairs. A pitcher of water with three glasses set in the center of the table and a data pad for all three to aid in these talks.

" Ah here we are please pick any seat you like" Kos said as he took his seat at the front of the table in a chair obviously ment for someone of his hight.

The somewhat dim lights were a relief for Katrin, being quite fitting to her needs (She could adjust to brighter conditions, of course, but it took time), and her two companions did, of course, almost by definition not have a problem with them - MilSpec drone 'Vision' tending to range from gamma- to radiowaves and dealing with nigh-complete darkness just as well as with stellar brightness saw to it. Granted, the ship's kitten-avatar was less absurdly upteched ('Fluffyness' being more important than 'Sight') than Silesia Nerte, but still - kittens do see quite well in the dark.

"Thank you..." Katrin replied as they arrived at the conference room, looking a bit annoyed as Silesia Nerte floated ahead, eventually staying maybe half a metre above the seat it'd chosen for itself, and eventually choose a seat a bit to the right of Kos.

"Now, to business," she continued, with no appreciable pause in between her sentences - or rather, fragments of sentences. "I believe I'm correct in my assumption that all political aspects of this meeting will be more or less dependent on our respective economic aspects, so I figure that it's only appropriate to start with said economic aspects, leaving politics as an aside?"

There should be a significant pause there, to leave Kos time to reply - should being the defining word, as there wasn't one. Instead, Katrin simply continued to talk.

"As it is, the Hypocrisy itself is a market rated at an equivalent value of slightly less than two point five billion class fifteen plus incomes. In addition, the Hypocrisy is connected to a variety of other markets, with varying degrees of mutual dependency, cash flow and goods transfer. A tentative estimate puts the value of these additional markets at a minimum of twenty-five billion class fifteen incomes - definite numbers are hard to get.

"Theoretically, the Hypocrisy is - like every other self-respective spacefaring civilisation - self sufficient, mass being the only resource required to keep it going. Practically, the Hypocrisy does, of course, engage in considerable trade.

"Luxury items are by far the most relevant ex- as well as import - 'Luxury' being defined as all finished products without productive value, I.e. small yachts, music, games, clothes, gems, novels, weaponry, foodstuffs, furniture, tiny robot toys for children, the likes.

"Next on the list are services, which too play a significant role. Whether these services consist of monetary transfers and bookkeeping, goods transfer from point A to point B, tourism, education, information - specifically, technology - transfer, insider jobs or any number of other things doesn't much matter - it's done, and there's not many services legally unavailable."

"Raw materials on the other hand - easily accessible via the Hypocrisy's holdings and large-scale recombination of atomic nuclei - do not play any role whatsoever, as far as international trade relations go.

"More detailed information is available on Silesia's datapad - it should've transferred it by now...?"

"Yes."

"Righto. Well, that's the economic basics from our end. Your end, well..."

And then she looked up at Kos, expectantly. The ship-kitten did, too.
The Reformed CIS
13-07-2007, 19:02
Kos looked over the data pad. He was fairly impressed this nation had a well established market. Getting a trade agreement with them would aside from aiding in the CIS's goal of rebuilding would boost his prestige.

" Very well." Kos begian

" The CIS econemy is based on heavy external trade. This can range from tradeing goods ourselfs, being the middle man between two groups intrested in trade,or being the transporter of goods threw our network of trade routes for a fair fee ofcourse. Also a small tariff is placed on all goods entering the markets of the CIS,however this does not apply to anything being imported to the CIS goverment and terms can be worked out to wave the tariff of some goods."

" Our exports of luxury items are fairly large. These are mostly made up of gems, exotic spices and foods, clothes, small space yachts, and last but not least weapons and house hold droids. Imports of luxury items however is very modest with clothing, gems, exotic foods, and weapons being top."

Kos took a sip of water befor going on

" Our service exports and imports are both large with all the things you listed being the main ones. However we do specialize in monetary transfers and bookkeeping, and goods transfers"

" We too do not need many raw materials persay however any rare materials we might not have open to us would be a welcome import."

" More information ofcourse can be found on your datapads now" kos said with a smile.

Silesia Nerte rised a fraction of a millimetre into the air when household droids were mentioned, but this was about his entire reaction - Katrin on the other hand, just nodded, soaking up the information for a moment before replying.

"A reasonably similar economy, then - well, we don't use tariffs ourselves, but that's a minor detail.

"I do believe that monetary transfers - zero-disclosure accounts and the likes - may have a considerable future. I imagine that a volume of roughly .1% of the Hypocrisy's GDP can be reached, long term... Although it'd initially be no more than a tenth of that. Still, a considerable investment advantage, I should think.

"I figure that by and large, we can assume economic relations to be concentrated on confidential financial transfers, plus you'll presumably manage a positive trade balance with luxury goods - as weaponry resports from our side are somewhat restricted, which is to say, no milspec kit, our exports are unlikely to reach the same volume."

Katrin stopped for a moment, briefly cleaning her glasses and slapping at the ship-kitten tryign to paw at the same. "Legally, there wont be issues, and providing the necessary information - coordinates, contacts, accounts - to interested parties in the economic sector will be simple. Likewise, it shouldn't be hard for you to contact anybody important on our side - again, contacts and information hubs are listed on the datapad.

"Culturally, there might be some issues, though, insofar as trading with slaver societies - for which you qualify as per your treatment of droids - might be considered 'Inappropriate', as well as causing some not inconsiderable bad PR. I believe it'd be profitable for you to engage in a long-term shift of attitudes towards machines, as this would certainly make economic interaction between our two societies much less awkward, but that's of course up to you.

"Other than that, well..."

Katrin adjusted her glasses a little, then fastened her eyes on Kos. "Well, that should be the basics. Economic interaction would - at least from our end - be run by smaller entities provided with the information you've given us, and should start up within about a months from now, which should be enough for the basic preparatory work. Remain questions more closely related to politics, though I'm not entirely certain what your interests in this regard would be. Assuming there are any, of course, which I suppose isn't certain."

On the outer edge of the system, for the very briefest of moments, reality underwent several unwilling changes, bending, and finally breaking, under the stress applied to it by the ship which just popped into existance, shimmering uncertainly, as if caught between here and elsewhere for just a moment, then finally settling down comfortably in reality.
For a few moments, it lurked on the edge of the system, seeming content to lord its presence over the various lesser beings hovering around this area of space.
The Acceptor, deep within the various hallways and catwalks of the main hull, reached out and, with the equivalent of a big stupid grin on its face, began to search out the space around it, briefly caressing the various ships, asteroids, bits of space junk and planets, before seeking out a communication device. It was briefly distracted by an odd gravitational anomoly, but a jolt from its masters set it back to work, eventually it found what it was looking for, and, using the knowledge taken from the minds of the various victims its fellow Acceptors had stripped from the minds of isolated ships thus far, sent a text message in several languages to the closest (apparently) inhabited object.

Sentients, the masters wish to speak with you. Make preparations to recieve the speaker for the masters. Failure to do so may make the masters angry. Sentients, do not make them angry.

The ship promptly went back to what it was doing before, which was nothing. Aside from sitting around broadcasting an air of increadible arrogance.

ooc: The Tandu sorry about the thread is closed atm since i am now in the middle of a major war :/ so i dont really have the time or energy for another to join atm.

ic: "Ah" kos said pausing for a moment befor take a drink of water.

" Our history is a long one but i can fill you in on the key stuff. Many years ago in our home galaxy we and many other parts of the CIS were nothing more then trade guilds. We controled the econmey of a entire galaxy and had our own military. Threw a chain of events moved along by a sith lord we banded togather with those wishing to no longer be part of the Republic which ruled the galaxy. They did it since they had lost faith in the goverment. We did it for money and power ofcourse we stood to gain and lose far more then the otheres. Our entire military and trade power were put at risk."

Kos paused once more clearing his throat. " The first few years of the war went well enough as a Droid Commander by the name of grievous lead our fleets and armys to victory after victory. However we were unaware that the sith lord who guided us to war was in fact the leader of the Republic. Useing us as a reasion to make a grand army of the republic. Slowly he took more and more power for himself untell he became Emperor of the new empire. By this time Count Dooku and General Grievous had fallen in battle. Soon after a sith known as darth vader by the orders of the emperor stormed a commander center houseing the leaders of the CIS and killed them. He then had the droid armys shut down bringing a end to major CIS resistince."

Standing kos smiled " However Kenpachis fleet was not tied to the droid command and controle network. His fleet and those who wished to flee with the CIS left the galaxy behind."
